Jordan Hays knows just how precious life is; that’s why he has his own mapped out. He’ll work to pay his way through university while he studies hard, regardless of the constant distractions. Because when it comes to becoming a nurse, he’s deadly serious. He won’t fail to save someone again.

But Hex Penton is way too similar to the sister he lost, and even though the only t

I adore Stacey Nash. Not only is she a fabulous writer but she's a wonderful human being. Still, you should all believe me when I say that if you want to read sweet new adult fiction (set in a university but without the usual semi-erotic trappings typical of the genre), you should get onto this series ASAP.

Scout's honour.

Wait! is the sequel to Shh! (yes, the exclamation marks are part of the names). It is set about a year later, and focuses on Jordan Hays, younger brother of the yummy Logan from

I received this book from the author in return for a fair and honest review.

This is the second book in the Oxley College series although it can (and was by me) read as a standalone. This in no way disrupted my reading or enjoyment of the story.

This book concentrates on Jordan - serious ex-rugby player who just wants to study hard and doesn't want any sort of relationship - and Hex - a fun-loving party girl who's hiding her hurt behind a smiling mask. They both had secrets and issues that they ar

I received this book for free from the author in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

Why I read it: I read the first book and loved it, so when the opportunity to read the second one came around, I wasn't about to say no!

Plot: This book focuses on Jordan (Logan - his brother, was one of the main characters of the first book) and Hex, a girl he meets on his first night at Oxley. The story sort of follows on from Shh! in that we le

I got a chance to read this as an ARC and Stacey Nash...this is amazeballs! I fell in love with Jordan and loved this book even more than the first (which I didn't think was possible). Jordan and Hex are so relatable as characters that I was immediately drawn into their stories. I had a disregard for morning as I stayed up late to finish this one and ended up sobbing in my bed at one point while my cat looked at me like I was crazy. I could not put it down! Every page kept me reading and I was s ...more

DAWN'S REVIEW
4.5 STARS

I absolutely adored this book. I loved the chemistry between the 2 main characters in this book. But what really got me was the bond that they formed from he's of truth or dare. The honesty that ce froth from those games was so important to the both of them that it helped them become the best of friends and eventually a wonderful couple. This is the 1st time I have read this authors work and I became a fan. The depth of this book makes you really look at things in a new way

I got to read an ARC of this book and it is BRILLIANT. Absolutely BRILLIANT. Wait! is the perfect follow up to Shh! Jordan's character is beautifully developed, and it's all kinds of fun to see Logan and Olivia make appearances from time to time. Hex is complicated and real, and her interactions with Jordan were alternately heartbreaking and hysterical. Stacey Nash is a masterful storyteller, and I cannot wait to see where she takes this series next!

A page turner and heartwarming!!

I love Jordan and Hex! Their story was a great read and I couldn't put it down until I learned more about them and new info kept coming all the way through the end of the book! Can't wait to see what Stacy comes out with in book 3! They just keep getting better!

After reading and loving Ssh! by Nash I couldn't wait to get my hands on book two in the Oxley saga. Apart from the fact that the whole series is based where I go to college and University, I love the writing and knowing what really happens at an Australian college.

Wait! Is about Hex and Jordan, who are both freshers (first years) and what they are both dealing with while they begin studying at university. Jordan is Logan's brother from Ssh! so we

**I was provided a copy of this ebook from the author for honest review**

I read this entire book never knowing it was the second in the series, following Shh!. Never questioned it at all, actually, and just accepted the secondary characters as secondary. The author did an excellent job of making this sequel act as a standalone. Wait! tackles so many heavy subjects while still maintaining a lighthearted feel. The two main characters are so beautifully flawed and grow so much during this book that

This was a cute read. It had elements of light and dark that were balanced well and overall I enjoyed it.

Having not read Shh! I didn't really know what I was in for with this book. However, the characters instantly drew me in, especially Hex. I loved her care-free attitude and the way she lived her life not caring what people thought of her. There was something really endearing and it was is to relate to her. I liked her confidence. She didn't come across as bitchy, the author wrote her in a way

In Book #1 we had Logan Hays story where he found Liv , the light at the end of the tunnel for him - the bright spark in a dark life. Now in Book #2 Wait, we meet Jordan Hays - this is Logan's younger brother who is off to college to study Nursing as ever since his sister Kayla's death, he figured he wanted to become a nurse so he could save others to make up for the fact that part of him couldn't save Kayla from her death. At College , he meets Hex - a girl who lives on the same floor as him. ...more

This is my favorite in this series thus far. Wait! tells Jordan Hays' story. As the younger brother of Logan from Shhh! we already know a bit about how hard life has been on him from the first Oxley College book, but until he gains his independence at college and we get inside his head, it's impossible to know just how much it has affected him, which broke my heart... especially when he meets a girl who reminds him in both the best and worst ways of his deceased sister. Hex has a lot of spunk an ...more

I loved this story! It was angsty and heart-wrenching at times, but so, so incredibly sweet! What I really enjoyed was following the story from both protagonists’ point of view – Jordan, a future nurse who tries to concentrate on his studies even though he still fights the ghosts of his past; and Hex, a young rebel, who tried to drown all her problems in alcohol.
It’s one of those novels, which is so much deeper than just a typical cute love story. This one is very emotional, layer by layer reve

I was given a copy by the author in exchange for an honest review.

We know a little about Jordan's past from Ssh! but we really get to find out who he is and why he decided to do nursing rather than another course and why he seemingly drawn to Hex. On the first night of college Hex is known as the party girl, not really caring about being at university in the first place she is really getting into O-Week. Hex reminds Jordan of everything that his sister was and fears that she is heading down the

I Received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Wait is the second book in the Oxley Series, but can be read as a standalone.

Wait is Jordan Hayes (Logan's brother, for the first book Shh) and Hex Penton's story. I had mixed feelings about Wait because of the excessive drinking I suppose, but I kept coming back for more, I couldn't seem to get enough. The storyline flowed well and I wanted more. The story is told in both Jordan's and Hex's POV.

Hex is a party animal, she binge drinks which cou

I've come into this series late, by accident, but that didn't matter.
We follow the story between Hex and Jordan, told in alternating chapters / perspectives.
Jordan is a decent guy, a bit shy when it comes to Hex, but a hard worker with great ideals and a past.
Hex is the exciting girl, the risky choice he needs to learn to trust.
This is a college romance with bite and wonderful character development, a coming of age. Getting insight in both characters and their perspective helps to understand be

I love Stacey Nash's book. They talk about real live issues that.
Jordan is a first year college student that has see what happens when someone loose control of their drinking. He is attend college to become a nurse because he wants to help people and was not equipmented to help his sister. He meets Hex Penton who likes to party to hard. Jordan is taken back by this to how his sister was and what happened to her. He has to decide if he wants to help Hex not waste her life or live his.

Writing for the young and new adult market, Stacey's books are all adventure filled stories with a good dose of danger, a smattering of romance, and plenty of kissing! Her debut novel, Forget Me Not was released as a three book series through HarperCollins Australia during 2014 / 2015. And her Oxley College Saga is out now.

Hailing from the Hunter Valley in New South Wales, she loves nothing more
