I love this book! I made two recipes. On the same night. For the same meal. Suppertime. I hadn't had turkey burgers before, and I love a good salad, so I felt like I couldn't go wrong. I was right! Turkey Burger With Mayo, Tomato & Lettuce only. Pasta Salad With pasta, arugula, tomatoes, onion, peas, mayo, salt & pepper. These dishes went together in perfect harmony. Both were fresh and didn't leave a heavy feeling, though you would think it might. Best part is, the hubby and son approved. Two of the pickiest eaters on the planet. Yep, can't wait to experiment some more from this book. It's awesome. It takes you, literally, step-by-step through the recipes. Making them idiot proof. I kid you not. Just be sure to read recipes through to the end before you start. That way you won't be surprised by anything. This is a great book for anyone, whether you have culinary experience, or not.
I really like how the book is organized, all the pictures, and the tips. If I were to create my ideal cookbook, this is really close to how I'd put it together. I like how there is a picture of every single recipe, so I have a better idea of what I'm cooking. Now to try the recipes and hope they are as excellent as the book itself.
