Conrad is a very drawing author and it flows flawlessly. I really appreciated seeing the mention of prevenient grace in the first chapter. An alarming thing was a quote used from theological liberal Ed Stetzer and citing the Message translation. Conrad delivers a decent product for most of the book but absolutely butchers baptism. I expected a Wesleyan belief since he has great influence in that church but was left appalled. His sacramentology is way off compared to John Wesley. At one point he even says he supports rebaptism. He sneakily hides this at the very end of his book. The other stuff you read about is pretty run of the mill advice that you could find in a YouTube video.

I was rather disappointed with this author, seeing that it was (A) listed on the Wesleyan Publishing House website, and (B) that he has such authority in the Wesleyan denomination. He is the admin for 170 churches. You think you could find some orthodoxy.
