Don't ask me why I read this.
I haven't read any of the Fallen series and I never intended to. But after reading this collection of short stories, I'm thinking maybe it wouldn't be the worst thing to give the series a go. If I do though, I'll probably end up reading them in Dutch. Note: I also read this collection of novellas in Dutch.

Honestly? This was better than the actual books. More substance, less cringe. Fun to see different perspectives.

I liked it way more than Fallen in Love.

Utterly unecessary. Adds nothing to the story, only serves to promote the author's new (at the time) series because they stuff a couple of preview chapters at the end.
But the only one to blame here is me and my completist tendencies and inability to leave books unread on my shelves and series unfinished. I suck. ...more

I can't believe that this is the last book, add-on to this series. I was in need of a quick read and this book was more than enough. Earlier this year I read the Fallen series, and though you don't often hear too many positive things about it, it's one of my favorite series. It's the book that made me fall in love with the concept of fallen angels. I am completely obsessed with angels now, and I intend to read any book that deals with them. It may surprise you, but this book got me interested in

I just got this ebook and it about 7 short stories from the Fallen series.
1- What Happened to Trevor ★★★★★
This was intense and I loved this insight, I have always wondered what exactly happened in the beginning of the story. I think I just understood something (yeah, I'm too late) when Luce kissed Trevor in this lifetime, she broke whatever curse she and Daniel had, that's why Trevor burned, it was always Luce who burned and Daniel who stayed behind. If you've read the Fallen novels by Lauren Kate (and enjoyed them), then I highly recommend you pick up this novella compilation of all the shorts Kate has written. Somehow, I didn't know they existed at all, but then found this at my local library and scooped it up. It's a very short read; very well done, but it took me a minute to wrap my head around the first story because it's been a long time since I actually read the full series ...more

This is just a fun collection of about 8 really short stories. Maybe a 30-40 minute read tops. It was fun just thinking back in time to when each of these stories took place and seeing how they fit into the lives we glimpsed. Kind of makes me wish I had these in hand during the reading of the series. Either way it is a fun way to spend some time with the group again, even if it is a short little hop.

these are random scenes that happens during random times during the books, I think these scenes are deleted from the books but they didn't want to waste them so they published it .. maybe the one I hate the least was Cam goes Hunting and Miles in the Dark, because I kind of like those two and Shelby out of everyone.

Honestly I don't even know does this count as a book? It was barely even 50 pages and the edition that I had didn't include at least have of the short stories. I really don't know what to think about these... Mostly they just made me more confused than I already was... Although I did like the one with Shelby and the one with Arriane and Roland.

This was okay but the fact that the last 30% is an excerpt should tell you how short the actual book was.

5/5 stars. A very quick, fast read. This book is a collection of short stories following the events before and during the Fallen series. I loved all of the stories. Some of my favorites are: what happened to Trevor, Daniel and Luce's date, Cam fighting an Outcast, Arriane and Roland thrift store shopping, Daniel and Shelby in L.A, ect. The writing was great; I wished the book was longer. I finished this book is less than an hour. Overall, a great read, very fast, is a favorite of mine, I would r

It’s a quick quirky read if anyone wants something that will take up an hour at most. The short stories were fun and led more insight into the characters while at the same time having the reader wishing for more.
If you are going to divulge this much then it may as well be for things like the kiss with Shelby and other stories of Luce and Daniel. Am I right or am I right?
A great addition for any Fallen fan.

I loved how Lauren Kate decided to make with short stories on people other than Daniel and Luce. It helps the reader understand more of what happens in each book. And it mentions stories I didn't know I needed in my life after reading the whole series.

If your a fan of the fallen series this is a short great filler although very short I'm glad I've read it mind you I'd read anything with a story of Cam In it !! Doesn't really tell us anything we don't already know although the Trevor story was good to read as a backstory.

I loved these little glimpses into events mentioned but not seen in the series.

This book brings nothing to the Fallen story. It's not really interesting either.

“He kissed her with a new brand of abandon. His touch was smooth and soft and desperate all at once. Her mouth bore down on his as he squeezed her, lifting her on top of him, burying his free hand in her hair. Their limbs overlapped, taut with expectation. Their mouths were hot and tangled. Luce felt dizzy and alive, as if their souls had twined together. It was almost too much to bear. She could never get enough. But she would try.”
