I read the first book, entitled 'Bollocks to Alton Towers' expecting it to be a piss-take of second rate attractions and was pleasantly surprised that the reviews were actually written with great fondness. Had they just poked fun at the lesser attractions, the joke would soon had run thin, however, by looking for the good in each of the lesser visited places the result is a far more enjoyable book.

A guide to places to visit that are off the normal tourist route. Loved it just as much as the previous book. The authors go to some places that could be perceived as incredibly naff yet they portray them with the greatest affection. I do hope to visit some of the places mentioned now
