Page Turner is the second book by Rayanne Sinclair that I have read, the first being Steal Away (which I adored). This book, however, is officially my favorite. I loved the story from the beginning all the way to that beautiful, but ever so heartbreaking epilogue. I have never really loved epilogues so much before.

Page Holden was such a good character and so was Professor Weiss. From the first few scenes they had together, I wanted them to happen as a couple. Rayanne really knows how to write su

I am reviewing a copy sent to me by the publisher.

This book was okay. It's really a 2.5 stars (why can't we rate books with half stars?) It has potential but it seemed too abbreviated at times. Weeks or months would pass from one chapter to the next and I ended up feeling disoriented as a result. The characters were a bit flat and stereotypical which made it difficult really care about what happened to them. There is potential, I just needed more. The big redeeming quality (and probably the rea

I've become a big fan of Rayanne Sinclair's books and Page Turner is just another great book from her. The story-lines are always well considered. They aren't particularly complex with the focus on her characters and she always manages to bring then to life for me. Always eager to read the next book she releases!

(I won this book well over a year ago from a GoodReads giveaway. It has languished on my shelf since until I recently picked it up to read it. I am voluntarily reviewing it)

Paige Turner, 23 year old small town girl moved to Columbus to attend Ohio State in hopes of acquiring a Masters in Music. Living on a shoestring budget, much easier in the era the book is set, she works hard as a piano teacher and is also the organist at a small church nearby. Then she gets into the program, mentored by a pr

Goodreads Giveaway winner here. I want to think Hopetoun Publishing for sending me this book, an autographed copy, so quickly. I was really excited when I received the notification that I won. I always love reading books about musicians, and especially pianists. I really wanted to like this book. I have read so many fictional novels about pianists (Swans are Fat Too, Kalyna's Song, Broken Chords, All My Puny Sorrows, The Memory Palace), so I really wanted to get into this book and connect with t ...more

This is my copy, sent to me by the author for my review. 3.27.2015

On page 131 ... liking this book very much. The writing style is unique and refreshing, not cookie cutter style.
I waited over a week before writing this review. It's a test, to see if the story stays with me. It did!

Page Turner is my first read of this author. Here's a brief synopsis from the back cover:

Won this book through Goodreads Giveaways. Short quick read romance book. I really enjoyed this book. The main character Page is a strong young lady trying to make it on her own while attending her masters program. She has two men that come into her life and she must decide if either one is right for her.

Now retired, she has since published three more novels - Beso Ducle, Page Turner, and Flight Risk (novella). Rayanne holds a B.S. from The Ohio State University, and an M.S. from Seattle Pacific University. A thoroughly Nor ...more
