I have had this book since I was 8 or 9; I LOVED this book as a child! It had so much great stuff about all these different animals, and fantastic illustrations. Well-written--informative, but also easy to read and entertaining. I loved to just curl up and read about the animals at random. This book, like "Marvels of Modern Science", carries a lot of sentimental value for me, and is one of a very few select books that has travelled around the world with me as I've moved from continent to continent. I still have this book, and still love to thumb through it.
