Room to Roam: More Tales of a Montana Veterinarian

Rate this book
Room to Roam, the sequel to Rib Gustafson's best-selling Under the Chinook Arch, features more pithy and humorous tales from the life of a veterinarian whose practice encompasses much of Montana's Two Medicine country. Horse vaccines, pampered pets, Rocky Mountain oysters, and winter underwear come up as targets for Rib's regional wit. Room to Roam also features Rib's cowboy verses, plus one lyric by a star in the next generation of Gustafsons, Rib's son Wylie, of country music fame.

This short seventy-seven page contains short 1-2 page snapshots of veterinary challenges in rural Montana Two Medicine County. Bitter weather and unplowed or maintained roads were more challenging that the cases described.
