Praise for Hold On (Book 2 of the Alexa Reed series):

Sometimes you can be so damaged that nothing can heal the destruction that has been caused your soul. But then sometimes if you are really blessed you will be given a second chance and that is what this installment of Alexa’s life is all about. While reading this book your emotions will run rampant with what ifs and why nots! The feelings that you experience as you read this story make an unforgettable impression on your heart and will not be easily forgotten. – Twin Sisters Rockin’ Book Reviews

Hilary Wynne has completely blown me away yet again! This series has quickly become a favorite of mine. I became emotionally attached to these characters in book 1 "Stay". This book was no different. In this book I cried a lot, got so frustrated and then said WTF. Hilary hits you with a twist you don't see coming. – Eye Candy Bookstore

Have you ever woken up one day and said, “Today’s the day I’m going to do (insert thing here)?” Well, I did, and the result is my first novel, Stay. I always thought of myself as a decent writer, and then a trip down memory lane through my ninth grade book of poetry confirmed it. I realize that I have always had a romantic side and a way with words. With support from my husband and kids (and an unspoken agreement to leave me alone for a few hours every night), I embarked on this incredible writing journey.

I’m originally from sunny Southern California and spent my summers in South Florida. I attended college at FSU and received my Masters in New Mexico. I finally settled in the Washington, DC area. My happy place has always been anywhere near the water.

When I’m not writing, I help run a business with my husband, watch an inordinate amount of sports (my kids play something 365 days a year), indulge my competitive spirit on the tennis court, and spend time with my awesome family and friends.

I am an avid reader, but find my characters feel neglected when I hang out with other author’s characters for too long. When I do read, historical fiction is my favorite genre. I love traveling and experiencing different cultures, places, and times.

I feel so blessed that my love of books inspired me to finally do something that I forgot I had always dreamed about doing.

My someday has arrived!

I have been, not so patiently, awaiting this book in the series for what seems like forever. You do have to read the first two books in the series to understand the dynamic that you're getting with this book. I absolutely love Julian and Alexa's story and was anxious to know what would happen next; especially after the way the last book ended.

Promise Me picks up right where Hold On finishes; with Julian and Lexie reconciling and promising their love to one another. I loved how strong Lexie was for him when he needed it most. She refused to run, which is her normal MO, when the going got tough. This time if it was over, it was going to be because Julian didn't want it anymore. She was in it and she wasn't going anywhere. Her actions show just how much she had grown as a character. However, this is Julian and Lexie and any solid footing they find never lasts long. Lexie is haunted with thoughts of telling Julian about her night with Luke, she knows they're on rocky ground and fears this will be the straw to break the camels back.

I enjoyed seeing Julian's hurt, angry, and vulnerable side. Him lashing out, reaching out and then pushing away were all normal reactions to what he was dealing with. He also showed how deeply he feels and cares- his capacity for love and forgiveness is phenomenal and just one more reason for me to love him. But then life had to jump in again and force them both to make some tough decisions. I kept thinking to myself, give them a break already! They just need a week to not have anything happen where they can talk without something throwing them off track. Underneath all of the hurt and mistrust and sadness, the love they have for one another shines through, brightly. That is probably what I loved most about Julian and Alexa in this book. They were both in pain and didn't know how to make it stop, just that they wanted it to. So, they finally, banded together and got on the same page to make it happen.

The feelings that Hilary Wynne was able to evoke from me were nothing short of extraordinary. She kept me on my toes the entire time; I had no idea how it was going to turn out. I just kept hoping it would work out the way I wanted it to. So many feels, I laughed, I was holding my breath and sighing with relief. This book had me in tears more than once, I'm going with a solid five times I needed the tissues- that is how invested in these characters I am. The great cast of secondary characters played a vital role in the telling of this book as well. Everyone from Danny, Mari, the parents and even Serena made an appearance and impacted the story. Just when things are looking good, there is a run in with Luke. This didn't play out the way I thought it would, it was so much better. Oh, and the ending, perfectly Julian. He proved, yet again, how well he knows his Lexie by giving her the surprise of all surprises (no spoilers from me on that one). Just that it was about the sweetest thing imaginable and the best conclusion to their fairytale.

If two people are meant to be together, eventually they’ll find their way!

Sometimes loving someone is not as easy as it should be. Alexa and Julian have struggled to find a way to their HEA! This is the final chapter in their story or maybe it’s just the beginning of their life together. Promise Me, by author Hilary Wynne is the third book in the Alexa Reed trilogy. The author once again revisits the journey her two main characters are on to find each other.

In the second book we are left wondering if our two lovers are really star crossed, fated to just be out of the others reach! So many obstacles are thrown in their way that it leaves you wondering if they can surmount them. Alexa has a tendency to run away instead of standing steady and facing her problems. Julian, who has always seemed to be a rock, now exhibits his own doubts about their future. The chemistry between the two sizzles and threatens to consume them in its fire. Will they be able to put those uncertainties in the past and heal? Or will the sizzle be extinguished?

When they are given a second chance Alexa realizes that she has to be strong for the man she loves. She can no longer run away when things are difficult but she also knows that it will not be easy to convince Julian that she will not run again. Julian wants to believe in their future, but so much has happened to destroy his confidence in Alexa steadfastness. His heart and body will always love her, but can he open his mind and put the past behind and forgive?

You’re either in it together, or you’re not in it at all…There's no room for anyone else. Do not let people in your past destroy your future... they are in your past for a very good reason!

Would I recommend this book: Yes! This is the perfect book for those readers that enjoy reading extraordinary love stories filled with sexual intensity and mental anguish. The big plus is always when true love conquers all adversities and finds their HEA.

Would I recommend this author: Yes! I have yet to be disappointed with this amazing author and her remarkable work. Once you have read a book by this author, you will not be disappointed either and Ms. Wynne will become a favorite on your must read list!

This series has been amazing from the beginning. This book was absolutely my favorite of the series and was definitely an "Epic" ending to this fantastic series. Hilary Wynne completely blew this one out of the water and I can't wait to see what she does next.

I fell head over his with Julian in book one and have continued to fall even harder throughout this series. Everytime he talks Spanish I get weak in the knees. Alexa is definitely one of my favorite leading ladies. She is a broken girl who is trying to find how to deal with fixing herself.

This book will definitely have you on an emotional roller-coaster. Just when you think Julian and Alexa can't love each other anymore we are proven completely wrong. While Alexa struggles with how to tell Julian about the biggest mistake she has made and Julian struggles with the idea that Alexa runs when things get bad. They both will have you laughing, crying, mad, and of course completely falling in love with them all over. Alexa promised from the beginning they would be Epic together, but do they both have enough fight left in them to keep going.

Lexie and Julian are back and better than ever! I've been hanging by a thread waiting to see how Hilary was going to wrap up the Alexa Reed series in book three, Promise Me. As soon as I saw my ARC come across my kindle, I dropped everything else. Julian waits for no one!

After all the drama and heartache these characters have gone through, I was looking for a little peace and quiet in their lives. But in true Lexie and Julian fashion, they have to work to get there. **Please note the rest of this review will contain spoilers if you haven't read the first books in the series**

I think the big question we were left with after Hold On was: How will Julian react to learning Lexie slept with Luke while they were broken up. That reaction is really a huge focus of this book. Lexie struggles over how to tell him and when she finally does, the S*** hits the fan.

Promise Me gives us an all new Julian. We see a darker, more brooding and temperamental side of the oh so sexy guy I've come to love. I even got mad at him a time of two but ultimately, he has a right to question everything at this point. He's in love with a woman who has a history of running out on him and was betrayed by another in the worst way possible.

One of my favorite parts of this book is the change we see in Lexie. Finally! Lexie grows up and is able to put a lot of her past behind her. She fights for Julian even though she's not sure their relationship will work out but isn't a doormat and stands up for herself when she needs to. Yes, there are times when she backslides into her negative thinking but she is able to pull herself up and be the strong one.

Because of this, Julian and Lexie are faced with a brand new relationship dynamic. Lexie doesn't need to be taken care of anymore and they both have to learn to deal with their pasts once an for all or they will be doomed.

There is so much I'd like to say about this book but I can't give spoilers! Just know that I think Hilary handled the entire story perfectly and in keeping with the characters personalities. There is lots of steam as always, tons of great shoes (heehee), and the normal awesome cast of side characters.

The author wraps up the end of the book nicely but I'm not going to lie. I hope there is a fourth book and I think there is enough material to explore to make that happen. I especially would like to see a book four contain a dual POV because I think a lot of the future story potential is really driven by Julian.

I highly recommend this book and hope everyone enjoys the wonderful rollercoaster that is the Alexa Reed series!

*ARC Review for Crazy Daisy Book Whore by Megan*

Get ready to feel, because Hilary has done it again! From angst and uncertainty to bliss and epic love, I felt every emotion of the characters in this book. It left me raw, ripped me apart, and put me back together in the beautifully woven ending to Lexie and Julian's love story.

Lexie and Julian have never had it easy, and this book is no exception. We were left hanging at the end of book 2 with the news of Caroline's baby and Lexie not having told Julian about Luke. I knew it would be rocky, but I didn't expect to want to strangle Julian or throw my Kindle across the room. The tables are truly turned and it is time for Lexie to be the hero and Julian to be the one in distress. I love the new Lexie and now understand the struggle it took for her to get here.

Lexie and Julian fell hard and fast for two people with such damaged pasts and guarded hearts. Their struggles were frustrating and continue through book 3. Julian just broke the news to Lexie that Caroline's baby was not his. This news, although happy, originally made them pay with the ending of their relationship. Julian is devastated and relieved. Lexie is equally relieved, but she still carries the weight of her night with Luke that she must tell Julian. She knows he won't take it well and it might be the end for them, but she can't live with the secret. Just as they are beginning to get back on track, she tells him. What she doesn't expect is his reaction. Will this truly be the end of their story? Can Lexie continue to Stay and Hold On even when Julian pushes her away? Will more secrets and surprises keep them from the future they deserve?

Lots of ups and downs, some huge surprises, and tons of fabulous shoes make this story well worth the wait. This is a must-read, well-written series that you won't want to miss!

I was given an ARC of this book with the promise of a honest review:

Oh boy, Hilary did it again. Promise Me is EPIC!!! You will laugh, you will cry and you will want to scream and throw your book/reading device, and I went through all of these emotions within the first 15% of the book, and they continued throughout the whole book.

You will get to see a different side of Alexa, a stronger side, at the same time you'll get to see a softer more vulnerable side of Julian. It definitely made for a great read. I fell more in love with Julian, seeing his vulnerability and his fight with holding that part of him inside himself, was heartbreaking but such a treat to see. And Alexa she became this strong women and really grew within herself in book 3.

I have decided Hilary likes to take her readers on an emotional roller coaster like no other, she likes to take you up up up on this wonderful high, then you crash down hard and fast, and repeats the process all over again, and it's the best feeling to have when reading a book. I love Hilary's writing style, the way she brings you into the story as if you are one of the characters. I could feel the emotions in waves off of Julian and Alexa. It was just amazing. Hilary is definitely an author I will buy future books from no matter what she writes, I know it will be amazing!!!

I received an ARC of this book from Enticing Journey Book Promotions in exchange for an honest review and as part of the book's blog tour promotions.

I always love the endings of great love stories. This trilogy is no different. As much as the other two were equally compelling, I would have to say I liked this book best. There's just something about the character's I've gotten to know getting their HEA that gets me everytime.

If you've followed the series, then you'd know that if there were two people who completely deserved a break and a happy ending, it would be Alexa and Julian. After all the things that happened to them, it is really touching to know that they are now stronger and their love and bond have become deeper too.

That's also one thing I love about conclusions. It always shows you just how far along the characters have developed from when we first meet them. I like knowing that all the events that take place in the book are factors in a character's obvious growth and maturity.

If you haven't read any book from the series, you have to correct that oversight as soon as possible. Alexa and Julian's story is another epic tale that's told like a beautiful journey. If you've read the other books but not this one, you have to grab the best part of their story right now, and I guarantee you won't regret it.

*There are spoilers if you haven't read books 1 and 2.

Promise Me is book three in the Alexa Reed Series and may or may not be the final in the series (Hilary may or may not be toying with the idea of a fourth book). Julian and Alexa have been on a wild, up and down journey towards epic and I believe you will all love their ride to get there. This is a story of love, self-growth, friendship, and the fight for the love that we deserve.

“Jerry… the test results please?! Don’t keep us waiting any longer!” Drumroll… “Julian Bauer, you are NOT the father!” And with my over active imaginations enactment of that story line, we pick up in Promise Me where Hold on left off, springing back into the lives of one of my favorite fictional couples. Julian and Alexa have work to do, individually and together, but stay, hold on and I promise you, you’ll enjoy the ride (puns intended).

Julian has an amazing ability to read Lexie; emotionally, physically, sexually, and materialistically. This is one of my favorite things about him. Who wouldn’t want a man who can give you the exact toe-curling orgasm you’re looking for and pick out a pair of shoes every girl on the street will envy as you walk by. Any sane woman, that’s who. We see a little bit of a darker side to Julian in this book, stemming from his fear of losing Lexie and his fear that she is just going to keep running and breaking his heart. Julian is strong and has the patience of saint but he is also stubborn and prideful. It’s time for him to receive some of the reassurance he has always provided Lexie.

Excerpt
“More than anything it hurts me to know I’ve made you doubt yourself. You’re the most amazing, loving, loyal, strong and patient man I’ve ever known, will ever know. You didn’t make one wrong step Julian. Since the moment I met you I didn’t feel worthy of your love. You gave me your love and despite all my craziness, you still wanted me. I couldn’t understand why and to be honest I still struggle with those feelings of doubt. You’re everything I’ve ever wanted in my life and everything I convinced myself I would never have. I understand how you feel about me and about all of this and as much as it sucks, I can’t blame you for how you feel. I didn’t fight for us when you needed me and I will always, always, regret that. But I’m fighting for us now and I’ll continue to fight until you either believe in your heart we’re meant to be together, or you ask me to leave. I won’t leave you, Julian. I promise.”

In the Facebook community of groups and one on one contact I hear chatter about different books and I see the love and the criticism of the writing, plot, and characters among people looking for their next book. I am a fan of Hilary’s and the Alexa Reed Series and I have seen chatter about how Alexa isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. I’ve heard that she is overly emotional and people don’t understand the running. I have never been one of these people; I can understand the fear of commitment, of being hurt, of letting people in. I understand how you feel when you’re dealing with something big, as Lexie has been. This series spans about a 8-month time and in the beginning Alexa wasn’t in a good place. I’ve heard criticism of how she deals. But I am telling you, I believe Promise Me will change these naysayers minds. Through this journey Alexa has overcome her demons and found strength to hold herself up high, and be able to be there for the others in her life. Alexa is tired of running and her time to be the rock has come.

Well I have stated my hatred for “He who must not be named” before, in previous reviews of this series. No, not that “He” guys, stay focused, wrong story! I’m talking about the Alexa Reed Series equivalent to Voldermort. Okay, okay, I guess I am being a little dramatic. I mean our villain here isn’t walking around performing unforgivable curses and trying to take over a whole world. But close enough. I don’t want to waste much time on "Puke" but I will say he does try to redeem himself with an act of selflessness to help Lexie… Well good, he should! CoughJ@ck@ssCough. Thanks, but not forgiven.

This novel has it all; a sizzling setting of South Beach, an alpha hotelier with a romantic side, sex scenes too hot to handle, amazing friends, and a couple finding strength in themselves and each other. I cried, laughed, got goose bumps, fist pumped, gave snotty looks at my kindle mocking Serena and Alejandra (b****es), and fell in love with Julian, with Alexa and Julian as a couple, and with the story. This is a series you should not miss and I do hope we haven't seen the last of all these characters yet. Pre-order your copy now and see the epic ever after for Julian and Lexie.

Julian and Alexa continue their story in book number three.
At the end of Hold On, Julian and Alexa have talked and decided they were going to try again. But there’s one giant problem that could make or break this relationship…
Luke.
Alexa has grown throughout this series and now stands her ground when her and Julian start to argue. She believes in their relationship and wants it to work.
But things come to a crashing halt one morning as Julian was making breakfast.
Imagine your life and everything you know it to be changes in an instant. One sentence, one admittance just breaks it all. The person whom you thought would love you unconditionally turns their back on you and you’re just cohabitating. There’s no love, there’s nothing worth fighting for.
Except Alexa knew things could be better. She stuck around, waiting for Julian to realize that what they have is epic and extraordinary. Will Julian finally come around and realize that love is enough?
AHHH. I LOVE Hilary Wynne. I remember the first time I read Stay. I fell in love with the story, with the characters. I became captivated and enthralled. I was raptured by Julian and Alexa.
In Hold On, Hilary had my heart racing, my butt on the edge of the chair. My knuckles were white from gripping my Kindle so hard. Hilary knew what it would take for the readers to feel suspense.
And she does the exact same thing in Promise Me. Every turn of the page, you wonder if that’s the page where it all comes out. And then once that happens, you turn each page, hoping it’s the page where Julian realizes he’s being an ass.
I know a lot of people that read Stay and Hold On believed that Lexie was stupid and annoying for running all the time. Well, when you experience what she has and find the strength to stay, let me know how you do it. But that’s not the point here. In Promise Me, you can tell a HUGE change in Lexie. She’s strong, she’s a fighter. She’s grown in so many ways! There were moments where I mutter under my breath “Punch her!” And Lexie, being the strong woman she is, resists the urge and instead makes a witty comeback.
This book is definitely the best out of the three that Hilary has written so far. It’s suspenseful, definitely steamy and hot, and one that will keep you from sleeping at night. It’s a definite page turner! I highly recommend this book! You will not want to miss out on the conclusion (or is it?) of Alexa and Julian!

Review by Rory Lampley

Julian and Alexis EPIC love story continues in book three.
Julian and Alexis relationship hasn't been one of ease. Just when you think they are finally going to have there Happily Ever After, more secrets tear them apart. Alexis never expected to find her home in Julian's arms, so hiding this secret from him was tearing her apart.

What happens one day you wake up thinking life couldn't be any better? You find out the one person you were the most certain about in life is keeping a secret from you. A secret so big that it rocks you to the core and you stop believing in what you thought you knew.

After finding out the secret that Alexis was keeping from him, Julian's life comes to a screeching halt. You see a more darker, moodier side of Julian. The love this man carries in his heart is still there but it is heavily guarded. Julian is numb so he pushes Alexis away in order to protect himself. Alexis on the other hand was a woman whose heart was a deep ocean of secrets, letting her past dictate her future. But with Julian's love she learns to Stay, Hold On, and Promise to never let go. Its during this time you see a more stronger, more confident woman. She endures Julian's moments of pushing her away with dignity. She reaches down deep and realizes that the tables have turned and she now has to be the one to hold their relationship together. She gives Julian what he needs most, something Julian always gave her....unwavering love!

This is a story of unfailing acceptance and unconditional love. A story that brings hope and love regardless of the twists and turns of life. A story of letting go and learning to forgive. "Promise Me," by Hilary Wynne is a book like no other. The story is EPIC, the author is EPIC.
Rarely does a reader get to read a story that love is displayed by the characters so simply and yet so complicated. This story is life altering, gripping, breathtaking, heartfelt, and one of the most intriguing series that I have ever read. I will forever be a fan of Ms. Wynne's and will read anything that she writes. As a writer Ms. Wynne is in a league of her own! She is EPIC.

Note: I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is book 3 in a 3 book series. After reading the first 2 books, I was so excited to get my hands on this one!! I read it in 3 days - I just couldn't put it down!!

We are back to the story of Alexa Reed and Julian Bauer. They are back together and all is fine - or is it? Lexie still has a secret that she has to tell Julian about. Then she has the dilemma - to tell him or not to tell him. It is tearing her up inside not to tell him, but she knows that she will lose him forever if she does tell him. Needless to say, their relationship can't continue as it is until she says something.

Promise Me is a perfect example of how to finish a story, wrap up all the lose ends of the storyline, and take you on an emotional ride all at the same time. I can honestly say that I laughed and I cried throughout this book. Hilary Wynne was able to evoke so many emotions and keep me so involved in this book that I just kept on reading to see what was happening next!

My favorite scene would have to be when Julian is by Lexie's side at the hospital, yet allows her to be strong for her family. We are able to see Lexie's inner strength come through, even though we know she needs the strength of Julian by her side. I won't go into too much more detail because I don't want to give away too much of the story, but this scene was definitely in the top 5 for this book!

One word can be used to sum up this book for the series: EPIC! Well done Hilary Wynne! You have truly outdone yourself with this one!

Oh my Hilary Wynne you did it again. I received an ARC of this novel and could not be happier! What a roller coaster ride. You laugh you cry you get mad and sad. You feel every bit of turmoil and pain these characters feel. You get to see a stronger more grown up Alexa. You see a vulnerable side to Julian. You will be on pins and needles until the end of the story. It eventually sinks in that no matter what life hands you everyone deserves love and to be happy. Secretly hoping for Book #4. Thank you Hilary for giving us all of these wonderful characters!

Fantastic! Stayed awake all night reading it. Halfway through I thought I knew where the story line was going and I was disappointed that it was so obvious ....... don't know why I doubted Hilary Wynne, first time a book has caught me unawares. I am about to reread all three books once again. Loved it!

Epic series

Loved this series and the ending was so sweet. Would love to see one more book about Julian and Lexie as there are still a few unanswered questions about their future. Dual POV would be nice...in fact I would love to see many parts from these books from Julian's POV especially the times when they were broken up. Anyway, can't wait to read more from this author.

I was given an ARC of this book with the promise of an honest review:

The epic love story of Alexa and Julian comes to an end in an amazing book.
“Promise Me” starts right where “Hold On” ended so you definitely have to read the first two books of the series.
Julian and Alexa are struggling with all the events that tear them apart.
I loved Alexa in this third book. Although she is still struggling with her past, now she is a fighter. She has grown and changed so much. She knows what she wants and she’s fighting for it. She’s fighting for Julian. Julian, however, is the loose cannon here. We can see a whole different side of Julian: a sad and sometimes very insecure and vulnerable Julian. He wants to trust Alexa but the truth is too much for him to handle.
All the events have changed them and they are trying to move on. But how do you deal with betrayal when it comes from the person you love the most, the one who owns your heart?
Despite all the latest events, Alexa knows she has to tell Julian the truth. And the truth will hurt Julian even more. But she decides to stay and hold on.
Julian stole my heart in this third book. He’s hurt and he struggles to keep his feelings in a safe zone. But it’s not easy and he’s having a hard time to deal with them.
Luke is the man I always expected he was and his love for Alexa is overwhelming. I never doubted of his integrity and he shows that his love for Alexa is more important than anything.

“Promise Me” is a beautiful and realistic love story. It’s what I expected and so much more. Hilary Wynne takes us, once again, in a wonderful journey through the lifes of these three characters: Alexa, Julian and Luke. This book had me in tears more than once because the emotions were too strong to ignore.
And the ending? Perfect. Just PERFECT!!!
Julian Bauer has now my body and soul. And I can honestly say that he ruined me for another male character.

Hilary Wynne did it again. We are taken in a powerful roller-coaster that only Hilary Wynne can provide us. Hilary has the ability to put our hearts beating faster chapter after chapter. When you start reading it, I can assure you that you won’t put it down.
Hilary Wynne is an outstanding author and I can’t wait for her next books to “one – click”.

“Promise Me” is nothing less than Epic! It’s one of the best books I had the honor to read and I give it 5 full and shinning stars.

**Received a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review**

I have to say...this series has been one of the best I've read. Alexa and Julian make the best couple and even though Alexa has her problems and tends to freak out over anything and EVERYTHING, Julian is always there for her and tolerates her running from him at all times. But when something unexpected happens with Julian, Alexa doesn't understand and runs from him and breaks it off with him. Julian is devastated that she won't stand by him on this and leaves her be.

When Alexa comes to her senses and feels like a complete a$$ because everything turns out to be okay with Julian, it's hard for Julian to trust her again and once he starts trusting a little bit, she comes out with a secret of her own that will push HIM away. Now that Alexa has realized that Julian means the world to her and she promised to always be there for him and will stop running, Julian doesn't seem to want that anymore.

Alexa has to work extra hard to get Julian to trust her again. Will Julian finally trust Alexa and be happy together?

This conclusion to the story was pretty damn awesome. I loved how Alexa finally got a taste of her own medicine. I know she was struggling with her emotions and her own demons. It's hard, but when you have someone who loves you unconditionally, you need to let that person in no matter what. If they trust you and believe in you, then you pretty much have to say that you have your better half already.

Julian is such a sweetheart, he has done the impossible for Alexa and doesn't get that in return. Loved how he made her hurt as much as he was hurting. It was hard for him to trust her again, but he finally let go and decided to take a chance on her again.

This was a pretty emotional story for me. Loved it and I want more of Alexa and Julian. He's just too damn sexy to not have more of his beautiful words and, and just him being beautiful period. I would like to see where this story keeps going, if they do make it past where this book ends, if it's true that Alexa finally has let go and trusts Julian whole heartedly and vice versa.

I guess you could say that you could never get enough of characters you fall in love with!

Great job Hilary -- 5 golden stars for this beautiful series!!

I recieved and ARC of this book (and I'm so glad I did because I mighy be crazy if I still need to wait til release date!) Here's what I can say...

This book is so amazing that I don't know how to describe how amazing it is... Just wow, really wow! Thank you so much Hilary for giving us an 'epic' love story!

I'm so happy how their characters developed... especially Lexie. She's so strong here. I love how she handled everything. What happened in book 2 re Luke is just so bad that I was afraid she won't be dealing with it well but she did! Amazing woman!

And Julian, I was pissed on him on some parts but I really get where he's coming from, so I understand. I still love him very much. Team Julian forever! :)

Be prepared, I was so emotional in reading the whole book, wasn't able to put it down. I'm so glad I was alone while I read the whole book otherwise my parents would think I'm crazy. There are happy tears too. A lot of 'kilig' (means butterflies in the stomach to the highest level) moments. I love each and every part of the book. Wouldn't change anything. :)

Overall, this is an amazing book, but for me, it's not enough... Because I want MORE! Please Hilary... Give us moreeeee! I want to see more Julian and Lexie... :) pleaseeeeee??? :) :) :)

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I'm giving it 10 stars because 5 is so not enough! :)

Hilary’s first two books, Stay and Hold On, take you on an exciting, titillating, emotionally charged rollercoaster. The long wait for this next rollercoaster ride, Promise Me, is worth the wait and does not disappoint!
Hilary’s ability to capture and relay each character’s emotional development in such a realistic way is remarkable. In Promise Me, you see the growth and strength in Lexie. She is finally in a place in her heart, mind and soul where she does things rationally and thoughtfully, knowing that she wants to be Julian’s forever and willing to do what it takes to get there. However, she is of course, still Lexie, still fighting her own demons. Julian, on the other hand, is finally losing it. Throughout Stay and Hold On, he has been so strong and was always there for Lexie. It was only a matter of time before he had enough with her. I have to admit, I was glad to see him finally get angry and vengeful. One can only put up with so much and his vulnerability made his too-good-to-be-true character believable. This makes you love him even more.
But alas, Julian and Lexie could not ever be apart for long. Throughout their trials and tribulations, Hilary made me feel all of their different emotions and by the end, I was left in a puddle of tears.
Bravo!!

I have been waiting for this book for what seems like forever! I devoured Stay and Hold On, and needed more Julian and Alexa! Promise Me did not disappoint, and I really think this is the best book in the series!

We pick up where Hold On finished, and just when you think Alexa and Julian are going to get their crap together and everything is going to work, you are dead wrong. These two have a sort of role reversal in this book, and I loved it! Julian is the one distancing himself, questioning everything, and Lexie is the strong determined one to make everything work. I loved this dynamic in the book, seeing them taking on the role the other used to have in this series.

Lexie was amazing in this book, I love how strong she was, and even when she wanted to "go dark" she would dig her heels in and stay. I love this character and even though in the other books I wanted to strangle her, she was amazing in this story and made me fall in love with her and Julian even more (as if that was possible!).

Julian on the other hand... I understand why he was the way he was in this book, but enough is enough. These two deserve their happily ever after, and he was making it so difficult at times. I understand how he had a hard time getting over what happened when him and Lexie broke up, and it hurt his pride, but I just wanted him to be there and for them to be happy.

This book is definitely emotional, just like the previous two, but this one it really stuck with me after finishing the book. I love Lexie and Julian and their story, and I can only hope and pray that we can get more of these two amazing characters in the future. I loved the ending, but I want more!

Definitely pick up the Alexa Reed series if you haven't already. Julian is HOT HOT HOT and Alexa is amazing!

I received an Arc on this book for an honest review.

First I must start out by saying Hilary blew this one completely out of the ball bark. I was literally left speechless and no matter what I say no words could do this book justice. Thank you Hilary for an absolutely breathtaking story.

I fell head over his with Julian in book one and have continued to fall even harder throughout this series. Everytime he talks Spanish I get weak in the knees. Alexa is definitely on of my favorite leading ladies.

First I'd like to say how privileged I feel to have been given an ARC to review by Hilary Wynne. As with the first two books in the Alexa Reed Series, I was unable to put Promise Me down.
The entire story is set in steamy south Florida, and with Hilarys descriptive writing I could practically feel the heat of the southern sun. Julian and Alexa have had a very tumultuous relationship. But when things were good between them, there was a different kind of heat. A heat that made my tummy flutter in delicious ways as I read each scene.
Promise Me left me feeling satisfied after a long journey of ups and downs between a neurotic perfectionist with an addiction to very expensive shoes and a beautiful, giving, and gracious man also with an affinity for fine footwear. Although I'd love to gobble up even more of their "EPIC" love story, I am happy with where it ended. *Thank you Hilary for writing a series that was wonderful from the first book to last.

I was given a copy by the author in exchange for an honest review.

I really wish I could give this book more than five stars. This was such an amazing book. Alexa and Julian have such an amazing love story, I really don't know where to begin with how much I loved this book. It's a very emotional ride and you go through every emotions there is out there. Alexa is such a strong woman and I'm not sure I would still be standing if I went through all that she did and Julian is one of the best male characters I have read in a long time. He had his moments when I wanted to smack him, but I understood where he was coming from. They are perfect together. I would recommend this to all romance lovers and bring some tissues with you, you will need them.

Wow. I wasn't too fond of Lexie after book 2 but she redeemed herself in this one. Poor Julian has been so hurt by Lexie and is having a hard time forgiving her. Lexie has finally allowed her walls to come crumbling down but it may be too late. After everything they've been through together and apart they are now different. Will these two be able to completly let go of the past and move on together to thier happy ever after? Hilary Wynne keeps the reader guessing in this installment of her Alexa Reed series. After everything these two have been through they deserve to get a HEA. Once again expect to need batteries and panties changed reading the hot scenes between Alexa and Julian. If it's possible Julian is even more alpha and sexy. HFS. Thank you Hilary Wynne for sharing this love story with your readers. Looking forward to many more of your stories.

This series was brilliant and read in three days.

Promise Me shows a change in both Julian & Alexa.

Julian is finding it hard to get past the Luke issue and looses his way for a while.

Alexa fights hard and digs deep for her true self to appear and along this journey builds back those strong bonds with family and friends and the love they share grows stronger and stronger.

Promise me was again very well written the only downside for me was the lack of an Epilogue which would have wrapped this series up perfectly for me.

Looking forward to reading more from Hilary Wynne.

**BETH'S REVIEW**

I first fell in love with Julian and Alexa’s story a few months ago after reading both Stay and Hold On so to say I have been anxiously awaiting Promise Me is definitely an understatement. The Alexa Reed series is a really great angst filled series that will have you not wanting to put your kindle down, except for the times you want it to throw it from frustration with these two.

This third and final book in The Alexa Reed series picks up right where we left off in Hold On so if you have not read the first two, stop right now and read no further as this review will contain spoilers. We pick up the morning after Julian had found out he isn’t the father of Caroline’s baby and in his time of pain he turns to the one person he truly loves, Alexa. They have found their way back to each other and have reconciled but after everything that has happened between these two, there is a lot of hurt feelings and it will take time to build back the trust they one had in their love and in each other. Alexa and Julian are different people now with everything that has happened and they must find a way to get back to the love they once shared. But Lexi has a secret from when they were apart that she knows she must tell Julian, but it also may mean the end to them ever being together.

I really loved Alexa’s character in this book. She’s been such a needy person who always ran when things got hard but from the moment she made the decision to go back to Julian, even when the whole baby issue still in play, she became a much stronger character. She was there for Julian when he needed her most and when there were so many times she would have gave up and ran in the past, she stayed, dug her feet in and fought for what she wanted, she fought for Julian. There were still moments that she had her “old Lexi” moments of insecurity but she really came a long way from the Lexi we first met in Stay.

Julian is still very hot, sexy and totally swoon worthy Julian but we see a different side to him, a more vulnerable side. He still loves Alexa but has a hard time letting her back and going back to they once had. She was his everything, his whole world came to revolve around her so when she walked away from him, she hurt him badly. He’s apprehensive about letting her fully back in, he doesn’t trust that she is back for good and she won’t run again when things get hard. I also found we saw a much meaner harsher side of him. He’s always been loving and caring towards Alexa but at times in this book, he was downright mean and cruel to her with his words and actions towards her. I wouldn’t have blamed her for running.

Overall this was a really great conclusion to their story that I really enjoyed. I really like that from the start Alexa knew she had to come clean with Julian for them to move on, that she couldn’t lie to him and keep it a secret, she loved him too much to do that to him. And I really liked that even though it took time for her to finally tell him, he heard the truth from her and didn’t find out from someone else, which always seems to be the norm of how the truth comes to light. I also really enjoyed how when they did reconcile, that things didn’t go back to being perfect and rosy with these two, again which is usually what happens in most books. There was a lot of hurt that happened, things said and even though apologies are made and accepted, it takes time to heal all that hurt. I loved the angst that was going on between these two but I will say at times, the constant tug-a-war between these two tended to drag on for me. I must also add how much I loved the ending, it truly shows why Julian is such an amazing character and perfect BBF. I would have liked to seen an epilogue that would have shown 6 or 12 months at least down the road and not having the book finish right where it did end. I feel like I am not fully satisfied and left wanting to know what came of things, I don’t want to say anything further about what was left up in the air for me or I will spoil the ending. I am hoping that the author has left that out and is planning on giving us more Julian and Alexa but as supporting characters in Danny’s book, I would really love to see his story.

Epic = MONUMENTAL = this amazing story between Lexi and Julian. Have you read Stay and Hold On? If not they are a must read first. This series has everything you could ask for and more; in a story of love, forgiveness and love again. This is my review of book three.

Have you ever read a book that you just can’t put down? One where you are sitting at work and thinking about what you read and what could happen next? That’s Promise Me. I couldn’t wait to get home and get back to this story, like when your favorite show is on and you're dying to see what happens next! I absolutely LOVE Lexi and Julian, I love their journey in their relationship. Talk about a rollercoaster!! I mean one minute you're up and then your head diving into a spiral of insecurity and doubt, to loving beyond anything you thought possible. And so we start off with Lexi and Julian in a bad place, the baby issue…..(I am not one to give major details on my reviews so I won’t say more on that). What happens when Julian discovers the truth? Well, it doesn’t end well for the one who lied. Lexi, so torn, so sad. I feel so bad for her, this relationship is one that is put through so much you just don’t know how they will survive. I really love how Julian speaks in spanish at times to Lexi, it’s so sexy!! LOL (did not intend to rhyme there!) Julian is the most romantic man and yes, he is angry with Lexi for things that have happened and yes I was happy when he finally stopped and made her chase him. I love that he did that, I love that she did it! lol.

If you STAY and read this series HOLD ON because I PROMISE it will be EPIC! Happy reading! This is just PERFECT!
