Steamy erotic reverse harem!
This was a good story and a good example of the erotic reverse harem sub-genre. I will give it 4 stars because it is good and has a story throughout, but I just didn’t quite connect with the way it all played out in the beginning. I guess I kind of like it when the polyamorous arrangement is figured out within the storyline, for example when the group spends time together and the woman falls for each of the guys but can’t choose, so they decide to all be together rather than lose each other.
In this case, there are four brothers Parker, Rogan, Sawyer and Hudson who run a ranch and already know that they only want one woman between them and they all have their sights set on a local realtor named Rachel, who was dating a jerk named Mitch. However Mitch cheats on Rachel and she is determined to show him that she is over him by going to the local bar he hangs out in and picking up a one night stand.
The guys see what she is wearing and figure out what she is planning and talk her into coming home with them for the weekend. She agrees but specifies that at the end of the weekend it is over between them. The guys do everything they can to get her to see they want her forever. I won’t go into details about what goes on throughout the weekend but to stay it is hot and steamy. Five out of five flames worth of steam 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥!
I enjoyed the story though maybe I am getting a bit jaded because as much as I like these reverse harem books, I can’t help but think most polyamorous arrangements in real life where all members are straight, must be where the women share a man rather than the other way around. I guess I just can’t se men being so willing to share. Of course maybe that is also my limited view because of the selfish men I have spent time around. I guess I have to just shut off my brain while I’m reading and enjoy the story. 🤯

I gave Weekend Surrender 2 stars because there are a few scenes that had noteworthy steam but overall, this book was beyond far-fetched and borderline creepy. I couldn't quite reconcile the bother's explanations for wanting to share a women between the four of them. I suppose if you kept your conscience mind out of the reading experience and just went with the flow, you could avoid exploring the psyche of brothers that like watching each other and experiencing some cross over groping plus the obvious interaction from dp. I don't know why the author chose to make these boys brothers because my analytical mind started wondering why wealthy, totally gorgeous, sweet talking, tenderhearted, alpha and nurturing guys would want to share. With 4, somebody is always waiting in line. Its like backwards version of big love meets sister wives.
I wasn't especially fond of the heroine. She had spunk but in no way did she seem woman enough to satisfy 4 virile men. She also seemed to need some therapy for childhood abandonment issues which she brought up over and over and over again.
There is a super light sprinkle of BDSM in this book but for those who are looking for that kind of story, you won't find anything of interest here. The one or two scenes were her hands were loosely tied up, the Dom of the 4 brothers called her sweetheart and love and didn't even threaten a punishment when she gave him outright attitude.
I don't recommend this book to anyone looking for a quality sexy read. The plot is thin and completely unrealistic.

I wish once again that there were half stars to rate.
This was fine, but it was a little tiresome to listen to the main characters mood swings.
I’m not sure why people need to write a story around a sex scene instead of adding the scene to a storyline.

Lori King’s brand new series kicks off in a spectacular fashion with Weekend Surrender. In Weekend Surrender we meet the Brooks brothers. Rogan, Sawyer, Hudson, and Parker Brooks have wanted and loved Rachel Morgan from afar for years. And when Rachel, who is now hell-bent and determined to have a hot one-night-stand after her most recent break-up, shows up dressed to kill and on the hunt at a local bar the men make their move. They convince her to spend the weekend with them and she agrees only upon the terms that it is for the pleasure only, not a relationship or commitment. The brothers agree, secretly plotting all the ways they can convince her to give them longer than just the weekend.
Typically, I can’t handle more than three men in a ménage scenario. It seems like a lot of work and possibly too many messy emotions to deal with but Ms. King makes it work in erotic and delicious ways. The Brooks Brothers are sexy, smart, charming, and funny and that is just the tip of the iceberg. The many ways they show their love….from sensual bubble baths, to rollicking fun skinny-dip these men are creative and masterful proving over and over that they can all be everything she needs. They use every tool necessary (and I do mean every tool from ropes to pancake syrup) to convince this extremely headstrong and stubborn woman they want more from her than sex. The love scenes are beautiful and sensuous and chances are high they are going to melt your e-reader (not to mention you will probably need a cold glass of water on hand too). Ms. King does a fantastic job of showing us the different facets to each man’s personality and what each man as an individual can bring to Rachel on top of what they can bring to her together. Rachel, our heroine, is smart, successful, and stubborn to the point a few times I wanted to grab her by the shoulders and shake some sense into her. It takes quite a bit (and an even bigger, unexpected surprise) to get her to realize that just because all the men in her past have hurt her doesn’t mean that these men will. This is a wonderful love story full of passion, love and even a few surprises and I enjoyed every minute of it. I can’t wait for the next book in this series! I give this 4.5 of 5 stars.

Rachel is dressed up, made up and looking hot and she's looking for a one night stand and while she gets her wish she also gets way more than she ever imagined.
She has no real confidence in men, her father left when she was only eight and her last boyfriend Mitch cheated on her so while she'll engage her body she's keeping her heart firmly locked away, or that's the plan anyway.
The Brooks brothers are every woman's dream and word has it they apparently like to share and they all want to share Rachel but is Rachel up for sharing four men.
As you'd expect with an ménage book there's a lot of sex and it made a change for there to be four brothers instead of the tradition three.
The brothers are all really nice and I really wanted it to work out for them, we get a real feel for each of them.
It's a nice enough read although Rachel annoyed me at times with her doom and gloom outlook and defeatist attitude but if you're looking for a light yet hot read this could be just what you're looking for.

I don't know how much more I can offer from the other reviews out there. This is a ménage à cinq with one woman and four seriously sexy cowboy brothers. You have to suspend your belief that four brothers would agree on sharing anything, let alone a woman but once you do you're in for a sexy read.

This book could have been shorter, boys meet girl, girl is confident enough to have an adult relationship, girl falls in love with 4 guys. Because I may be bored enough in lockdown to read some dubious shit but I'm not bored enough for this. It must've pissed me off fifty times in just two chapters. These characters have some truly bizarre and deeply contradictory attitudes towards women and they need to sit the fuck down.

Ms. King sets the readers on fire with Weekend Surrender. This book is a fast-paced read, with a good world built and amazing characters. It has great intensity growth and at the end the reader wants more.
Rachael Morgan is a young lady that has been hurt one too many times and has decide to keep her distance from meaningful relationships. Even though she has some issues to get over with, she is very easy to love, connect and understand.
The Brook brothers are perfect. Each of them has a different personality making them unique on their own. The first moment I read the blurb I thought with myself "that's one too many in this equation". Well, Ms. King, has change my mind. Rachael is extremely lucky and sometimes good things DO come in quantities.
The passionate scenes are beyond hot, and its description is extremely sensuous, but never vulgar.
I'm really looking forward to the entire trilogy and Ms. King has definitely been added to my to-read books.
I would recommend this book to all ménage readers out there. If you like threesome, a "fivesome" will be as wonderful or even better!

The toughened, gorgeous Brooks brothers have wanted Rachael since high school, but she 's always managed to be with one jerk after another and now she's not and they are going to try and convince Rachael to come home with them for the weekend. With all four of them. What they really want is to convince her to stay permanently but that's going to take some doing.
What will people think of her if she stays with all four brothers and should she really care?
My view....
At first I wasn't sure how being with four men was going to work. I mean it's hard enough to keep one happy sometimes. I'll be honest and say that the thought of four men and one woman was pushing the boundaries a bit much. Having said that, Lori King did a fantastic job. While the sex was HOT, it was not so over-powering to the point that I got sick of reading it. I enjoyed the relationships that Rachael made with each brother individually. It showed the me that it was important to make each brother feel important to her. The fact that the brothers were all very different, not just what they want in the bedroom, but their personalities as well.
I loved that while Rachael was so worried about what everyone was going to say, everyone proved her wrong when it came to not judging her like she thought was going to happen.
There were a few editing mishaps that should have been caught but it was a fantastic story and while I did read the second one first I look forward to reading the third one. I give this book a solid 4 stars. If you enjoy ménage stories, this was a great one. There was no touching between the brothers or even a hint of them touching. It was definitely all about Racheal. Ah Swoon! Enjoy.

This is a completely fantastical story about Rachael and the whole houseful of men who instantly fall in love with her.
Following a bad breakup, Rachael heads to a bar in her small town with the thought of having some fun. Immediately after she arrives, a passel of local brothers (who, of course, are rich and incredibly handsome) begin giving her a hard time over what she chose to wear and insist she join them for a weekend at their house. The insta-love in this book was too much for me to take. You need more than a weekend to fall in love with one man let alone four.

Got this book after meeting Lori King at a Facebook book party, after reading her blurbs I had to at least get one of her books. I must say I was not disappointed!

Dressed in her sexiest cowgirl clothes she’s off to the bars to find herself a hot cowboy for the night. Though she’s not a one-night-stand kind of girl, she still needs to work her mad off.
In comes Parker Brooks, one of the four Brooks brothers who owned Brooks Pastures, a local cattle ranch. The brothers had three things in common their love of ranching, their smoking good looks and according to gossip these cowboys loved sharing their women. With their dark hair, dark eyes, long lean muscular bodies any cowgirl would swoon for them.
When Rachel shows up at the bars and runs into Parker, Hudson, Sawyer and Rogan she begins to think naughty thoughts staring these super sexy cowboys. When the men offer her a weekend of pure surrender, Rachel thinks why the hell not! These boys want to keep her and they want her to want to stay.

Now there isn’t anything that happens with the brothers that would be creepy, are they in scenes together yes but their focus is all on Rachel and let me say their focus is intense in a good way. I loved each and every one of the brothers, while they all have different personalities and approaches to Rachel, they all mesh together perfectly.
Rachel wants the Brooks brothers, but she is scared and every time you think that she will let them in during the weekend they agreed upon, she pulls back faster than if she was avoiding a bite from a rattlesnake. Is she being weak? Not really. She has issues that she needs to overcome and they are ones that can’t just go away overnight. Did I want to say if you don’t want them then I’ll take them? Yes I sure as hell did.
If you are looking for something that will make your panties soaked, make you wish that it was you in the scenes, then Weekend Surrender needs to be on the top of your must read list. Lori King has a new fan, and I think she will have a ton more once you check out this series.

Just what the doctor ordered: A VERY hot, sexy menage with just a tiny bit of angst.
I liked learning about all of the brothers' different personalities. I can't even put my finger on who was my favorite because they were all so great in their own way. Maybe Rogan because he seemed like he wanted her for longest time & simply adored her or wait... Hudson was so sweet with that bathtub... or Sawyer with his enthusiasm & playfulness... but I can't forget about the Dom, Parker, too. *le sigh* Lucky Rachel, she NEVER had to choose.
I can understand Rachel's reluctance to fully invest herself into this kind of relationship because well, it is so different from the norm but these brothers were way different than the guys in her past. I wasn't the only one who felt the need to point this out to her either; like three other women in the book did it. I just wanted to pop her in the boob for walking away! Rachel... they spoil you rotten, they sex you up individually & as a team, they love you... get with the program woman!!
And yes, it may seem greedy but I would've LOVED to have gotten a longer epilogue! I mean, heck... we get teased about Rachel's six weeks being up & then NOTHING. C'mon... I wanted to read all about that pent up sexual tension being released! ;)

This was erotic, passionate and had great moments of humour. From the first chapter we straight away meet these hot cowboys and immediately feel the physical attraction. It did not feel rushed and I easily followed the characters long held small town connections and the four brothers were easily identified with their own personalities and sexual traits.
Now we are talking about four good looking cowboys and one girl who they have held secret attraction to and can I say my god the kitchen table scene - H.O.T.
I really enjoyed this story as now and then I move into Menage Romance for the whole escapism of intense passionate physical and emotional love. We are also introduced to other characters who upon checking make up the next two books. I am dying to read book 2 as I really loved Zoey who was Rachel's friend.
