Gretchen Thomas isn’t exactly princess material. She’s not thin, perky, graceful, or refined. So, when a mysterious man claiming to be from another world appears, telling her that she’s royalty, her first instinct is to laugh in his face. However, his assertion that she’s from this strange parallel realm rings true—especially given the freakish abilities she’s had since childhood.

Yet, with that knowledge comes a set of expectations Gretchen isn’t sure she can live up to. With an entire kingdom relying on her to fight for them against an evil queen, and a long lost family hoping to reunite with her, being a princess doesn’t seem like all it’s cracked up to be. One thing is for sure; when the war between good and evil spills over from one realm into another, disrupting her life and threatening the brother who raised her, Gretchen will not hesitate to unleash the powerful storm brewing inside of her.

this is a great series

My hat is off to Michaels for being able to keep track of all of her characters. On the one hand it is frustrating to hear the story from so many characters because we can't stay with any one for very long...on the other hand I enjoy being with all of the characters, so I can forgive her ;-)

This feels like a fast read, but this is a series I am happy to follow & will continue reading.

I loved this book, just as I have loved the other Lost Kingdom of Fallada book I've read so far.

Gretchen Thomas isn't popular or even princess material. She isn't thin or graceful. She is more powerful than the other princesses were when Rothatin and the Grimm brothers found them. Gretchen lives with her brother, who has given up everything including college, to raise her.

Gretchen meets a mystery man who tells her she is royalty and needs to save the world of men and Fallada.

Alicia Michaels yet again, had me on the edge of my seat.

Loved it. Typical teenage “I don’t belong, I’m different”, and then boom!! Yep, she’s a princess with sweet powers intended to bring down Eranna, the epitome of evil.
Fairy tales I can’t get enough of!!

Alicia Michaels does it again..... I threw my book when I was finished due to the fact that I finished the book and there was not another one to read afterwards. I don't know how many young girls and women feel that they are not beautiful due to having curves and she makes Gretchen relatable in so many ways. Gretchen being a girl who never belonged with a brother to always look after her and put his life on hold to help her grow is amazing and she will do anything to protect him. Having wicked powers of a storm also adds to the major butt kicking factor. Like her other books love is in the air and one can only hope for a happy ending for them all. With this being said I WANT MORE IN THIS SERIES AND I WANT IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!! :)

This is series has been amazing right from Book 1 and I have been waiting to see who was going to be the next princess to be found. Gretchen is not your typical princess (or at least the ones that are depicted these days). She’s the total opposite. However when things change for her and she embraces who she is, she is a force to wrecken with and the enemy will have no idea what they have coming at them!

The story is well written and the author does a fantastic job at describing the characters and their surroundings. I am not so patiently waiting for the next book in the series !

Please tell me that my book was incomplete and it did not end with Gretchen sending Arrian to go dance with Phaedra. And please tell me when book 5 comes out! I love this series. Yay for fairytale retellings!

Cliff hanging ending

This book was awesome but it just ends on a cliff hanger it doesn't tell us about the rest of the war or the baby or about the other relationships and what happens to them so I give this book a 3 star review

Wonderful

It was amazing alone with all of the books in the series. I seriously could think of nothing else. As an avid reader I love it when an author can suck me into the story so much that I am enthralled with their works and can devour their books like nothing else.
