This small book is rather abysmal. It's a collection of photos, sprinkled with some quite uninteresting text. The subtitle claims that it's dealing with "the history and development of the Ho229", but there's no real history in it. How did the design come about? What were the considerations, in military and designer terms? What about the weapons and the weapon platforms? What about the specs of the planes (speed, altitude etc)? What about the resources wasted on them, and what could have been?

Abysmal, I'm telling you. Two stars for the fantastic photos.
