read with Justin, the story of Brett Favre’s recruitment from high school to play football at Southern Mississippi, told by the coach who recruited him. Interesting story of how luck and determination came together to get Favre the scholarship to USM, without which he wouldn’t have been able to go, then although he was the 7th string quarterback starting, he managed to rise to the top and lead USM to big wins over regional rivals and bigger schools.
