This was a pretty useful book, mainly because of its month-by-month schedule that lists what's in the stores when. Of course there are big shipments for back-to-school time and in the spring, but there is a bit more to it than that and have a list of what ships when. The author's advice is to go and at least look at all the clothing when the big shipments come in, so you can see what's out there when the selection is largest. She's thinks it's not good to only shop sales because the selection is so limited.
The rest of the book was padded out with fashion advice. Some if it was kind of useful, but a lot wasn't, especially since there are no illustrations of what she's talking about. Also, sometimes she says things that don't make sense, like "Parkas are okay for chilly fall weather but of course they're not warm enough for winter." Also, reading the book is kind of like talking to someone with extreme ADD, because she's very enthusiastic and uses lots of exclamation points! And she'll start talking about something, suddenly change the subject, then go back and repeat the first thing she said.
