I can't get enough of this book. He tells the stories with great detail and unfolding at a beautiful pace. I love having you in my pocket, Tom Shelby.
What a great book. It was filled with excitement and detail. I honestly don't recall h ow it ended. I remember feeling content but sad that I had no more exciting Michelle adventures to read. Good stuff to think about.
Fascinating details about SAR dogs and their remarkable skills. Stories aren't chronological, so it's sometimes a bit confusing or repetitive. Great for dog lovers or outdoor hiking fans. Shelby certainly shows human nature under pressure and the hazards of weather extremes on judgment.
Probably a great book for someone into search and rescue training. There was no exaggerated events or incredulous miracles. Probably very realistic. Kind of boring though.
