Planning on living in China as a high-level exec? Then this might be the book for you. Planning on living in China as an English teacher? Save your money for your trip to Yunnan. This book isn't worthless, but darn close for anyone who will be living in China as a poor ex-pat. The notes on how to give an expensive banquet for business collegues is interesting, as is the chapter on negotiating business deals, but the book lacks a bit in how to negotiate daily life sans driver, peon, and other staff.
