Four step-by-step instructions for quality dressmaking. Illustrated with color photographs to simplify sewing, save time and result in more professional-looking garments.
Topics include pockets, collars, tailoring, linings and trims. This is not a book for a beginner, but could be used by anyone once they have a little sewing experience under their belt. It covers all the extra finishing touches that make a garment look hand tailored, not homemade.
This is very dated; however, there are some good tips on how to pick fabrics and buttons, tailoring, and adding details to clothes. I think this is a good supplement to the other Singer Sewing Reference Library books.
