Tells gardeners how to find or make containers, plant the herbs, and artfully integrate pots into an existing garden. Beautiful color photographs and helpful charts appear throughout.
The thing that I love about living in the northwest is seeing the bulbs break the ground and the buds on the trees this time of year. It gets me going on my starting of herbs for the season. This book is an excellent resource for growing herbs in pots--for hanging or on the deck. It covers culinary herbs in depth, even offering a recipe here and there. It only gives a token page or two to medicinal herbs. I pulled it off the shelf today to revisit the section about starting herbs indoors so that I can begin growing items for future gazpachos, salsas, and pestos.
