Melinda has done it again!!! I absolutely love the way that she makes us all swoon for her characters in her stories and not be able to put it down until we are done. Even after that, I still long for more from these books. Melinda writes so well and brings us such heart warming stories about everyday life.

Veronica is a young lady that loves working with numbers but is not always sure that those around her will share in her love of numbers. Veronica is looking for some adventure in her life and

My Review: 4 stars

I received a copy of this story in exchange for an honest review

This is a very steamy story. Veronica attends a coworker's wedding, where she meets a delicious Diego. Veronica is pretending that she's a sexy siren for the evening in the hopes of roping in aman for a night of passion. She seems to get more than she bargained for. Their explosive chemistry will have you enraptured and begging for more. They spend one night together, after which Veronica disappears, thinking she w

My Blogging Star Rating for NEW YORK MINUTE is: 4 out of 5 stars. :)

My ‘Blogging Reader’s Review’ after reading an ARC Copy of ‘NEW YORK MINUTE’(via: BooksMoviesFandoms.wordpress.com):

This is a new contemporary romance novel by author Melinda Dozier. I was first introduced to Melinda’s work when I was given the chance to read and review the anthology “One Lucky Night” that had her short story “Drink or Dare” as a part of that novel. Her work was great then and this one was wonderful just the s

New York Minute immediately appealed to me because it involves my favourite combination of business and music.

The heroine, Veronica or Vero, is an accountant who decides to break out of her boring life by putting on the persona of an outgoing fashion buyer and having a one-night stand with Diego, a gorgeous guy she meets at a wedding. When she bumps into Diego again at a speed dating event she’s dragged to by a more outgoing friend, their brief flame is rekindled and the one-night stand rapidly

This book is short and quite sweet. :)

What happens when two people meet and sparks fly? Everything stops and then things suddenly move on fast.

That's how it's like for Veronica and Diego. Everything seems perfect for them. They have the connection, physical and emotional. Diego is a rock star while Veronica is an accountant. I like Diego because he's the romantic type. He says how he feels. He doesn't beat around the bush and just tells you how he feels. :) On the other hand, what I like about

It's always better to just be yourself, but Veronica believes she has to make up a new her in order to keep the interest of sexy musician Diego. Diego is keeping a huge secret as well. These two start out with a passionate night, but chance of fate they cross paths again. The heat just gets hotter, but we all know the truth eventually comes out. Will it back fire for these two? Can Diego be attracted to the real Veronica?

Every time I was away from this book, I couldn't wait to get back to it. This is an amazing read, and for me it was amazing (for several reasons, but primarily) because of DIEGO. Ahhh, Diego... *drool*. In all sincerity, I have not connected with a hero as much as I connected with (lusted over?) Diego in a long, long time. The author brilliantly created chemistry, not only between the heroine and hero, but between the hero and the reader, which is not something I've often seen. When it IS done, ...more

I was lucky enough to "meet" Veronica several years ago when I read Dozier's first novel and she was Amanda's stuffy, rule-minding friend. I loved reading this story and seeing another side to Veronica, a spicy side, ready to take on the world and one sexy music man. However, in her effort to be a different person, she could just lose the very thing she is striving for!

Diego is enough to make anyone's mouth water. Tattooed up with the body of a Greek god, but sensual and feeling on the inside wi

This was a great story about rising musician and a boring accountant. The story between Diego and Veronica was heartwarming and brought to light that you should always be yourself instead of trying to impress someone with a fake you. I like how romantic Diego was towards Veronica and how she loved his affections but felt not good enough and boring for his taste.

All I can say is this book is "muy caliente"!!! It was hot, sassy and oh so spicy! Such a great quick read. I love how the author makes the characters come alive. Veronica thought just for one night she would re-invent herself and see where the night takes her. Diego is sweet and romantic and a big tall drink of water. Can Veronica keep on with her charade of new identity or will she finally confess to Diego? Will Diego accept the real veronica. Be sure to find out when you pick up your copy of ...more

Great love story. Vero and Diego make a great couple. Worth reading it!,

Vero and Diego are a great couple. The chemistry between them is awesome but it goes deeper than just physical attraction. Vero meets Diego on a wedding. She wants to live something different and spend an incredible night with diego, thinking that they will never cross paths again but fate has other plans for them!!! The book is entertaining, sweet, hot. It has it all! Loved it!

This is a short review, because this this is a short sweet and spicy book. Veronica and Diego are quite a couple. They start as one night stand and then meet again at a speed dating thingie.

Diego is a rock star and Veronica is anything but. I think that's what makes this such a wonderful story. I mean who doesn't dream of hooking up and then falling for a rock star? Granted Diego isn't my type. I don't usually go for the tattooed type, but you can't help but love him. He's a hot hot Latin lover

This is a contemporary romance that was a quick read and I enjoyed every minute of it. When Vero (love her nickname – real name Veronica) and Diego meet at a wedding their attraction is off the charts. There is more than chemistry involved! As we get to know them they seem right for each other even if they come from two different worlds. They get each other and are the other half of their who

In New York Minute by Melinda Dozier, Veronica Mars has decided to attend a co-worker’s wedding. But she knows that as always, the shy accountant in her will remain a wallflower. But she will at least try to live a little before she follows her mother’s dictates.

As Veronica is about to leave the wedding reception, she realizes that this may be he
