Everything hangs by the thinnest of threads. In a DEAD world, nothing is certain and nobody is safe. Friends have fallen, some enemies have been defeated only to be replaced by yet another. As the first year of the zombie apocalypse ends and a new year begins, can a person hope that the coming of spring can be a starting point for re-birth? If not...then what is the point of trying to survive? Fates will be sealed and destinies decided as winter finally fades, the darkness recedes and gives way to... DEAD: Spring

I am a fan of Cookie Monster, KISS, and Dr. Who (along with most things British).
As a person who always dreamed of writing as well as one completely enthralled by all things zombie, it is hard to believe that I never once considered writing in the genre. It is true. I wanted to be more “mainstream”. The first novel I actually wrote is titled Dakota (as Todd Brown). It is about a pair of DEA types tossed back in time to just prior to the start of the Civil War. They are in Charleston, South Carolina, and one of them is an African-American.
The zombie thing really started when I wrote a short for a college Creative Writing class. The teacher, Ms. Bose, pulled me up and told me I had an obvious love for the subject and a real talent for the style. I decided to give it a shot.
The first thing I cobbled together was Zomblog. I wrote it as a warm up for the project I had brewing in the back of my mind. It is a journal account of the apocalypse. The funny thing is that it was never intended to be published. A few things happened and it ended up being presented to me as a gift in book format by my wife for a Christmas present. There was something I will never forget about holding the copy of that book in my hand the first time.
Because it gained a readership, and those readers asked for more, I made it a trilogy (Zomblog, Zomblog II, and Zomblog: The Final Entry). It is also because of those fans that I have returned to the Zomblog universe and just released the sixth (and FINAL) book in the series on Halloween of 2013: Zomblog: Snoe's Journey. I freely admit that I will sellout my plans to write what the fans ask for.
I really want my DEAD series to be what I am known for, and in the last year, it has really taken off. However, I will say that with the release of the fourth book in the DEAD series (DEAD: Winter), the numbers started to pick up beyond my wildest dreams.
The DEAD series (DEAD: The Ugly Beginning, DEAD: Revelations, and DEAD: Fortunes & Failures, DEAD: Winter, DEAD: Siege & Survival, DEAD: Confrontation, DEAD: Reborn) is scheduled to be a 12 part epic series.
It is told in three rotating chapters. One is from the first person perspective of Steve Hobart, a man thrust into the role of leader for a group of survivors struggling to keep alive. One chapter follows a group of four self-professed zombie “geeks” who initially believe that the zombie apocalypse would be fun and soon discover that it is nothing like the movies. The third of the rotating chapters is called “Vignettes” and is a series of snapshots from all around the world. Some of the vignettes are single chapter episodes, others are continuing threads that carry on for several chapters. A few are merged into the Steve story or the Geek story line.
Last year,I began my horror/comedy series, "That Ghoul Ava" and have found it to be my new guilty pleasure.

WOW!
Mr. Brown, if you REALLY read this, I want to thank you for the WOW! that I can't really talk about as I do not leave reviews with spoilers. I also want to thank you for the WOW! I CAN talk about which is an awesome story with more amazing things than I can find the words to describe. For personal reasons, the first set of these books were almost my last despite all that I really liked. Let's just say Kristen's story was way too close to home. I'm very happy you changed the way you related those stories. I also have been super impressed by the growth I've seen in your writing. WOW!, just WOW!

Great big story
At times it feels like Game of Thrones but with zombies. There are many characters and stories to follow and it rarely gets boring or overwhelming. Loving the zombie twist.

Superb as expected!
Can you give this series anything but 5 stars. The story lines, the vignettes, the loses, the wins. You have everything you could want, period!!

Awesome Zombie series, absolutely thrilling!!!
After reading author TW Brown's Zomblog series I never thought he could top himself and happily, I was wrong! The Dead series has been an amazingly touching tribute to mankind's ability to hold onto compassion in the middle of a horrifying Zombie Apocalypse, as we'll as a cautionary tale of the evil that can manifest in a persons soul, and the consequence if it goes unchecked. I'm just finishing book 9 of 12, and I'm so in love with this story I can hardly wait to get started with book 10. This is an incredibly intricately interwoven and detailed account of several various groups of survivors and the struggles they've endured to make it this far into the years following the day the dead rose to attack, and consume, the living. I highly recommend the Dead series for lovers of Zombie fiction, it's really great!!!

The is a 10 star Zombie series!!!
I have found another favorite to add to my list of Mark Tudor and Jake Bible this is a great series.I appreciate the ending it had a certain closure I don't get from others I have read.I won't miss anything you write Thank you for your wonderful story's

Dead set 3
Great story really pulls you in. Can't wait to get the next one in the series. Started reading at book one and couldn't put it down. If you like post apocalypse zombie fiction this is the book for you. Even if it's not normally your type of book you should try it if you don't your really missing out.!!

My new obsession
I discovered TW Brown through an Amazon recommendation. I read Zomblog first and then moved quickly through the Dead box sets 1-3. I can't wait for the next one. Great storytelling had me hooked from page one.
