This book with one of my favorite themes of the fake engagement starts out strong. There is sizzle between the leads and a kind of randomness to their meeting that makes the love story extra fun. The fact that the heroine has a child adds new layers to this theme. However, this fact wasn't integrated in a way that was compelling. The little girl became more of a plot point than anything else. The heroine's best friend was great. The book floundered for me in the end with too much push pull clich ...more

Camden doesn't believe in love. He believes in mutually beneficial business arrangements. With his real fiancée off cheating on him, Camden needs someone to help him prove to his father that he's definitely ready to marry. Yet Jeanie's combination of beauty and bluntness act like an aphrodisiac, and their “for the press” kisses look incredibly real. So real that Jeanie and Camden are either really convincing actors...or they've fallen for th

I loved the book, and Virginia Nelson is an author I will read again and again!

What I loved most about Penthouse Prince was that she added a lot of classic references (dressing like Audrey Hepburn, then the famous quote by Rhett Butler, the fairytale type nickname that the hero received from the press, etc) into the story. Yet, this doesn't feel like a book I read before. The author's voice is strong and she brings a fresh twist to the tropes.

Jeannie is a great heroine! I really rooted for her.

I gotta say, I wasn’t much of a fan of this book. It just wasn’t for me.

I guess, mostly, it was the fact that these guys were all over the place. One moment they liked each other, then they acted cold to the other, and then they were hot as hell. It was just too much flip flopping for my taste. They constantly acted the opposite of what they were thinking of doing, and there was a LOT of miscommunication, or more like lack of communication.

I just couldn’t see them together at all, even

This is a 2015 must read!

Life hasn't been easy for Jeanie.. Growing up at an early age is hard.

In an effort to save her current job, Jeanie finds herself being offered a new but odd job by the company CEO Camden, who wants her to pose as his fiancé.
If she can survive the arrangement without losing her mind or her heart, Jeanie will be able to resume life without any financial burdens.

Wow! I loved this book!!

Penthouse Prince was a delightful read, it was full of romance, and chemistry between the characters that it had me hooked from the very beginning.

Jeanie Long has had rough life growing up, not only did her parents basically turned their backs on her, but she was also left to be a single mother. Now her work is all she has to take care of her daughter, Kaycee, but her manager is threatening her job after Jeanie caught him in a comp

Ever looked around at your mundane 9-to-5 office job and thought you might could be doing better? Ever wondered what it would take to spice up your boring world?

Ever been completely caught off-guard when something did happen to shake up your routine?

Then you know exactly how single mother Jeanie Long feels. She works in the call center of a large corporation owned by a mysterious, wealthy young man named Camden James, who has been infamously called the "penthouse prince" for his exploits and esc
THE PENTHOUSE PRINCE: Fantasy in the Bedroom & the Boardroom

If you can totally ignore the way businesses with a board actually function in America then you might ignore the confusing mix of a guy who runs a business and a guy running for office. This CEO, Camden, spends his days at public events like a politician, not running a business. Bull Hockey.

The premise of this story is that the father – who holds enough shares to make a majority, but who does

Camden James is looking to takeover the shares of his company and he needs to shed his playboy ways in order to do so. Unfortunately marriage is something he has no interest in as his parents' marriage was a disaster. A fake fiance fits the bill and Jeanie Long was in the right place at the right time. Jeanie was only trying to save her job when she made her way up to her boss' office, she never intended on becoming his bride.

This story is one that has been told many times and ini

Let's be honest here. This book was amazing. This author has such a way with words that you won't be able to put this book down once you start. Its refreshing to see an author put such a unique twist on a billionaire love story.

Jeannie is a woman who knows that by talking to the head of the company might mean losing her job. That's okay with her. She's prepared for it. What she wasn't prepared for was meeting the head of the company and

I LOVED THIS STORY! It was such a quick read form me because it was FUN to read Camden and Jeanie! Camden is known as the Penthouse Prince ... he keeps women at arms length because he doesn't believe in relationships. His only point of reference is his parent's disaster of a marriage. But daddy won't give him the Company until he is satisfied that Camden is married and happy. That's gonna be a problem since his current
4.5 star rating.

I would have given it a 5 star rating but the beginning was a little cheesy and could have had a better start. But after the rocky start I loved the rest of the story.

Jeanie was a strong, sweet and beautiful heroine.she had spunk and sass too, which I love In y heroine. Camden didn't stand a chance. And our hero was swoon worthy. Strong but tender and sweet. And he was great with Jeanies sister too.

Great marriage of convience story, except for the kinda silly start. MC had chemi

I was in the mood for an easy light hearted romance. This was neither easy or light hearted. Honestly I was shocked by how depressing most of this story was. And I was irritated as shit that the majority of the H vs h conflict could have been saved by a single HONEST conversation. Jesus it was like reading two teenagers 'I really love him/her but I'll never tell him/her because maybe they don't love me back'... Even if the H said he didn't believe in love most of the book, he was never once hone ...more

When Jeanie goes over her boss’s head to complain about an indiscretion she had discovered, little did she realize, she’d end up in a new positon with a new fiancé to boot. She initially thought she’d be fired because of what she was going to say. But providence smiled on her instead. Good thing Camden was all for it and his dad was the reason for the ruse, not to mention that his real fiancée was off doing who knows what with who knows who. It was a delightfully fun read and you rooted for the ...more

Jeanie was having trouble with her boss, so she went straight to the top. To the CEO of the company, Camden, the playboy Penthouse Prince. There, she was in the right place at the right time to be caught up in a sham engagement that Camden suddenly needed. Camden hires Jeanie to be his fiance until he can gain the shares he needs from his father.

But Jeanie has secrets she doesn't want Camden to learn. And what happens if her heart becomes involved?

**My thanks to NetGalley and Entangled Publishing LLC, for providing me with a free copy for an honest review**

I loved the banter between these two characters as they constantly had each other on their toes, however the whole warm to cold on their feelings did get a trifle annoying.

On the whole Camden was a lovable character, he just had an issue to overcome, but Jeanie inadvertently helps him, especially when she leaves him.

Both have cold members of the family who want something from them, but

Just when you think the trope has been done to death Virginia Nelson gives it her own special touch. Camden James is a high powered businessman who needs a fiancé quick. Jeanie Long was in the right place at the wrong time and got sucked into Camden’s charade. They didn’t expect to fall in love. Yes, you’ve read it before but not like this. I truly got a kick out of this book.

Wow This Penthouse Prince has a really thick head. Young single mom needs to talk to the boss about her manager and next thing is she is moving in with the prince. She needs to keep your job thinking she found her manager stealing from the company and having sex in the break room. While she walks to the top floor, Prince walks in and bam he had to have her. Quickly contract to be in a fake relationship that turns out to be more than opened hearts for these two.

Such an excellent read! It starts off fun and full of surprises and gets better from there. While it is the usual fake fiancee trope it has a new and fresh twist that makes it a complete joy to read. The characters of Camden and Jeanie feel genuine and real and so does the off the charts chemistry between the two. I highly recommend this one for everyone's must read list.

This was painful to read

I don't know how I forced myself to finish this book. The main character Camden was awful, his thoughts and words just seemed so corny. The scenes didn't flow, one minute the characters where in one location and the next some where else. It was very badly written.

I loved this book! Ms. Nelson's approach to the common fake fiance` trope is refreshing and fun. The story is well written and told by both of the main characters. (Something I thoroughly enjoy.) Once I started reading, I found it hard to put down.

My first thought was holy crap does this book jump right in, almost rushed. But then I kept reading and it fit so well. Everything was tied together perfectly. Everything being so rushed and unanswered was exactly how this story line needed to be written. I was without a doubt pulled in. Which is a wonderful thing because I LOVE fake relationship theme books, but I am picky.

When I become frustrated after reading one so-so book after another I try to reboot my mindset by reading a light romance novel. Why? Well, my expectations of romance novels isn't as high. I expect them to be pretty standard fare with somewhat sappy dialogue. However I was quite pleasantly surprised when I read "The Penthouse Prince." The characters were quite interesting, the plot had a few twists and turns that I hadn't expected and there wasn't a lot of sappy dialogue. More importantly the re ...more

This was a sweet, if trite, story. Probably more like 3-1/2 stars, but I enjoyed it, so I rounded up.

It's weird, I've been reading a lot of virgin stories lately, and not on purpose. In this case, Jeanie hasn't given up the v-card even though she's in her late twenties, mostly because she's seen how her mom treats sex, and she feels it's not for her. Not worth it. Plus, she has her sister to take care of, which takes up a lot of her time. She dropped out of college to take care of her sister, so
