I like Isabella. She had brains and intelligence and knew when she was in over her head. And when her life's work is corrupted and she is in danger, she goes to the one place that can help save her life: Cerberus. Remy is focused, detailed and an expert in explosives. His knowledge and her information are a heady mix.

Isabella discovers something she never imagined, her entire research is being used to build weapons, and the moment she realizes the truth she understands that her life is in danger, the only thing she can do is run and hide from the people who want her dead so the information she carries will never come to light. Now Isabella needs protection, and that protection arrives in the form of Remy, the man assigned to eliminate the threat and make sure she stays alive, nothing about the situation is simple though, because another danger appears and puts both of their lives at risk.
Remy is an expert operator used to high risk missions, his task is clear, protect Isabella, keep the information safe, and make sure nothing happens to her, but everything becomes more complicated when someone from his past returns with one goal in mind, to see him dead, now he must fight not only the people hunting Isabella but also the ghosts of his own past.
In the middle of all the danger and tension, feelings begin to grow between them, Remy does not want to feel anything for Isabella his past left him with too many scars, and the choices he made destroyed the relationship he once had with his brothers. Opening his heart again is something that terrifies him, even so, deep down he knows he cannot fight what he feels, slowly Isabella becomes the center of his world, someone worth protecting with everything he has.
Isabella, on the other hand, sees the man behind the walls Remy built around himself she sees the man who has endured too much, the one who is afraid to open his heart yet still offers her safety and protection, Remy awakens emotions in her that she cannot ignore, emotions that grow stronger the more time they spend together.
When the danger increases and there is nowhere left to run, Remy makes a decision he once believed he would never make he returns to his brothers, back to the home he left behind because he thought it was the best thing to do. There, when they finally have a moment of safety, all the tension and the emotions they tried to hold back break free, neither of them can deny what has grown between them.
Remy understands it clearly now, he can no longer run from his feelings, Isabella broke through every wall he built and found a place in his heart, Isabella realizes it too, Remy has earned her trust and her love. The danger is not over though, and now they must face it together while Remy tries to rebuild the bond with his brothers, he also continues to protect Isabella, the difference is that he is no longer alone, Isabella has grown stronger, strengthened by the confidence Remy placed in her she is ready to fight at his side and face whatever comes their way.
The final moments are filled with tension and emotion, every scene keeping you on edge as everything builds toward the end, Remy and Isabella confront the threat together and prove that they are stronger side by side, the mission is completed, the danger is neutralized, and they both make it through alive, Remy finally finds peace, love, and the chance to rebuild the family he thought he had lost. In Isabella he finds a place where he can truly be himself, where he can open his heart without fear he protects her with everything he has and shows her just how much he loves her. Isabella shows incredible strength by choosing to stay with him despite the risks, with Remy she finds safety, protection, and someone who stands by her in every moment, he sees her completely and offers her a love that is honest and unwavering. Together they can now look toward the future, surrounded by family and the promise of a new beginning, which is perhaps the most beautiful part of the story.
After this small glimpse of what is coming next, I am already waiting for the next book. Luc, my dear, I am ready to see how you will deal with Simone. I have a feeling that will be very interesting to watch. In the end I loved this book from beginning to end. Every character took a small piece of my heart ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Yet another brilliant, all consuming story in this powerful series, this book can easily be read as a standalone.
Scientist, Dr. Isabella Durand, couldn't believe what she was seeing in her Geneva laboratory, she knew that she had to act fast, her research, that had taken her many years, was being stolen, research that would save lives was in the process of being downloaded remotely, research that in the wrong hands could be altered to cause mass destruction. Quick thinking Isabella quickly stopped the download and transferred all the information onto a USB, information that would also reveal the identity of the thieves……..and then she ran, the target on her back was huge.
Remy Pascal, code name Nitro, was an explosives expert and enforcer for the Cerberus group, his mission was to locate the missing scientist and keep her, and the information that she held, safe.
As this story unfolds, it soon becomes clear that the nemesis of Cerberus, The Iron Choir, and Remy's personal nemesis, Lazerov, were both involved, both had highly trained teams behind them, teams that would kill for money.
Remy decided that in order to keep Isabella safe he would have to do something that he dreaded doing, he would have to return, with Isabella, to his family home in New Orleans.

The attraction between Isabella and Remy was instant and soon became combustible, Remy was breaking all protocol by falling in love with the client that he was meant to protect.
Their journey is action packed with nail biting suspense, Isabella proved that she was no shrinking Violet, she would let Remy take control but only when it suited her, Luc and Margot proved that siblings could argue but blood ran deep.
A truly unputdownable story that leads nicely into Luc's story and I can't wait.

Another great instalment in the Club Opus Noir Series by Delta James.
And with all Delta books you can expect fast paced, dangerous situations and questionable choices just to survive!
This is Remy Pascal and Isabella Durand's story.
Once Isabella realises that her research and life's work has been weaponised as a Chemical warfare threat, she disappears, with the data, but obviously not well enough.
The enemy finds her and attempts to eliminate her. Lucky for her Nitro Aka: Remy Pascal, who works for Cerberus has been deployed to rescue her.
Taking her to a safe house lasts a few hours. They are tracked there and barely escape with their lives.
Remy knows how to live on the run, but with an asset in tow, a much harder proposition.
When all else fails he takes Isabella and himself back to his families home in New Orleans.
There is a connection between Isabella and Remy and as a Dom he recognises the Submissive in Isabella straight away.
She obeys his commands whenever he needs her to, without question. Something that does things to him he doesn't want to inspect right then.
Racing through the streets, eluding the enemy, with success leads him to respect her in more ways than one!
When they cross the line and become more, he knows that hard decisions need to be made if the mission goes sideways.
Lucky he knows what he is doing as they elude multiple enemies.
One chasing Isabella and one from Remy's past that just wont give up.
A fully action packed story with very little down time for these two MMC's as they are constantly hiding, on the run and dodging bullets before they firstly try and eliminate Isabella's enemies by destroying her compounds and then going after Remy's old nemesis.
And once all threats are eliminated...where does one go to let their hair down but Club Dominion, an exclusive BDSM club in New Orleans, where Remy wants to see how far he can push Isabella.
There is plenty of heat here within the pages but to finish a great book by presenting a scene at the club is overall the icing on the cake!! Well done Delta, as once again you bring another story to life.

Code Name: Nitro is the fourth book in the Club Opus Noir series, and if you enjoy compelling, intense romance filled with danger, suspense, and action-packed scenes that keep you breathless from start to finish, you can’t go wrong with this book by Ms. James.
This story follows scientist Isabella, who finds herself in grave danger after discovering that her research is being used to develop lethal weapons. Remy Pascal, an explosives expert working for the Cerberus Group, is sent to rescue her and bring her to safety. Their journey takes them across the continent as they struggle to stay one step ahead of not just one enemy, but two. Suddenly, both Remy and Isabella have targets on their backs.
Remy is a complex and fascinating character, and I truly enjoyed getting inside his head. At first, I thought he might be somewhat one-dimensional, but he quickly proved me wrong. Yes, he needs to remain in control and can seem cold and clinical at times, but he recognizes Isabella’s inner strength. I admired how he respected her intelligence and included her on the team. Remy’s intensity and deep understanding of danger and evil allow him to stay one step ahead, at least long enough to keep them safe.
Isabella was a heroine I genuinely admired. She shows courage, intelligence, bravery, and resilience throughout the story. Calm under pressure, she still allows herself to lean on Remy’s strength when needed. Determined to stop her research from being used for evil, she proves herself to be both brilliant and intuitive. I also loved how Isabella finds power in submitting to Remy, a morally grey man who destroys evil and doesn’t lose sleep over it. His dominance calms her mind and allows her to simply feel. He more than earns her trust, and their chemistry is both sensual and explosive.
This was a compelling and complex read, and the inclusion of Pascal’s family was the icing on the cake. I can't wait for Luc’s story.

"Code Name: Nitro" was chalked full of surprises, the suspense would span two continents, and the heat would abound from multiple sources. Dr. Isabella Durand had discovered a wonderful way to disburse medicine into the air, but her mentor sold the information to Iron Choir as a weapon of mass destruction. Isabella found out what was happening, and she downloaded the information going on the run. She had not ran far enough, when Remy Pascal (Nitro) from Cerberus showed up to rescue her, Iron Choir had found her at her new laboratory. Remy also noticed from a charge just before it went off that someone (Lazarev) who had sworn to kill him was now on his trail. So they both were on the run, but it seemed like they were not able to shake either Iron Choir or Lazarev. Finally, they made some head way losing them after Remy found all the trackers planted on both of them. That was when he made the decision to leave Europe and came to the United States. He was going home to New Orleans, and from there they discovered the sale was taking place in New York. So Remy, Isabella, and Remy's brother, Luc head to New York to learn what they could about the sale, but they got made leaving the city in a rush. They did learn where the final delivery of all the components would be which meant another trip back to Europe. They would have to go dark with no help from Cerberus, as they had a mole. It would be the three of them and any back up Luc would be able to locate. Would they get there in time to destroy the components before the pickup, and what about Lazarev? He was still hot and heavy on Remy's trail. Isabella had to go on all these trips, because she knew the people or she was able to identify the components. She never carried a gun, but she managed to stay calm and stay up with the guys in any gun battle. Remy and Isabella had a relationship going from the time they hit New Orleans on. They eventually even went to the hottest BDSM club in New Orleans.

Thriller, suspense-filled with steamy power-exchange romance
If you like suspense with your unexpected romance, you need to read this book. Oh heck, read this whole series. You will thank me. When I realized that Remy’s brother was none other than Luc of Dominion’s Command, I knew I had to have that book too. I am anxious to start reading!
In the prologue we meet Dr. Isabella Durand who has suddenly realized that her invention of aerosolizing a delivery system for medication to large groups of people can also be used for annihilation, she is furious, frightened and determined to prevent that from happening. She goes to her boss’s computer and downloads lists of names of organizations wishing to purchase this method; I could feel my heart pumping as his computer ticks down to show how much information has been saved to her flash drive: 60%...70%...85%... She hears footsteps in the hallway. No, no, no…her boss has returned! This is the beginning of one of the fastest-paced thrillers I have read by this author. In my humble opinion, one of her best. Six weeks later Remy Pascal of Cerberus aka Nitro because of his skill with explosives has been charged with finding Dr. Durand and getting her to safety before The Iron Choir can kill her. What neither of them expect is an obsessive mad man named Lazerev being after Remy at the same time! Will they get away? What damage will they leave in their wake? Will going home to New Orleans be safe? Will Luc and Margot be happy to see Remy after what he did…or rather, did not do?

If you like suspense with your unexpected romance, you need to read this book. Oh heck, read this whole series. You will thank me. When I realized that Remy’s brother was none other than Luc of Dominion’s Command, I knew I had to have that book too. I am anxious to start reading!
In the prologue we meet Dr. Isabella Durand who has suddenly realized that her invention of aerosolizing a delivery system for medication to large groups of people can also be used for annihilation, she is furious, frightened and determined to prevent that from happening. She goes to her boss’s computer and downloads lists of names of organizations wishing to purchase this method; I could feel my heart pumping as his computer ticks down to show how much information has been saved to her flash drive: 60%...70%...85%... She hears footsteps in the hallway. No, no, no…her boss has returned! This is the beginning of one of the fastest-paced thrillers I have read by this author. In my humble opinion, one of her best. Six weeks later Remy Pascal of Cerberus aka Nitro because of his skill with explosives has been charged with finding Dr. Durand and getting her to safety before The Iron Choir can kill her. What neither of them expect is an obsessive mad man named Lazerev being after Remy at the same time! Will they get away? What damage will they leave in their wake? Will going home to New Orleans be safe? Will Luc and Margot be happy to see Remy after what he did…or rather, did not do?

A totally engaging read from start to finish. Remy and Isabella's initial connection is full of danger, action, and suspense that continues pretty much through the entire book. I loved Isabella's calm, cool, intelligent, adaptable behavior, and tactical thinking. She knew where she held strength and when she could lean on Remy's experience. I appreciated her willingness to accept help.
Remy's icy calmness held a lot of heat beneath his demolitions persona. There was definitely a significant amount of heat between Isabella and Remy. I had great respect for the fact that they made it to safety before they let that fire burn.
Being on the run from Remy's past and the people coming after Isabella's research definitely kept the action moving as they raced across Europe. This book took me so many places that by the time it ended, I had almost forgotten where it started.
What I didn't expect, but was happy to read about, was the New Orleans familial situation. Through that entire part of the book I kept thinking that the Pascals needed a series. I am looking forward to seeing where life takes Luc and Margot. Rating 4.5

This is a simply wonderful read and I guarantee that readers will love the main characters in this story and they are Isabella who is a scientist and she is in a difficult situation. She is going to know that she is being chased for the invention and as they move from city to city all that is important is that Nitro keeps her safe.
Nitro was his code name he was used to doing jobs not many could handle and he had become an explosives expert and had been called Nitro, he is calm under pressure and is able to deal with situations others would not be able to imagine.
He is determined to keep her safe and will do whatever he thinks is necessary and it seems that they may not actually survive but at least they know that they will have done absolutely everything possible to survive.

Jeesh was this a phenomenal book that I waited for, keeping a eye on BookSirens and it gave me so much more than I expected, absolutely brilliant and Delta's attention to detail astounded me though knowing her style, she once again managed to leave me speechless. I'm not going into detail with this review as I normally don't like to do spoilers any way and you had a blurb upfront, but I'll share that the Pascal family dynamics was a blast. It's all together after bridges had to be rebuilt. What a badass Margo turned out, yikes neither of her brothers knew about Dominion nor her connection to JJ.
If you want an action filled, super hot book aka plenty spice, grab this asap as the end inclusion is super promising. Sorry Remy and Isabella you're great characters, not to forget Luc, but I'm boosting Delta here for bringing you alive. Dr. Isabella Durand has finally achieved he goal to make a compound that could save thousands of lives. However when she finds out her mentor has other plans especially to make it now as a weapon, she can't believe how much it hurts by the betrayal. Now on the run with evidence of his betrayal she flees to at least try and find help to stop the weapon first. Remy also known as Nitro works as an operative to rescue anyone in need of protection. Now his mission is to protect an Doctor who has vital information to stop the weaponization of her research. Working with Cerberus he has to help save Isabella and stop whoever wants the information she has. Isabella sees how he looks at her, she's not just another mission to him. But saving her research from enemy hands and causing mass destruction their job is to important for distractions. Can they stay focused on what's important. The spice and tension is perfect in this book. As with the previous books Delta has given just the right amount of tension whilst adding enough spice to even the story up

I think this is the best book in the series to date. I loved the character of Remy (Nitro). Isabelle is good too. She is a very strong but not overbearing, chemist who inadvertently created a weapon that could kill thousands. Then one night she finds that there are plans to weaponize it. She runs with the evidence and Remy saves her. As they work to hide, it also becomes apparent that someone from Remy's past is hunting him for revenge. A cat and mouse game begins, taking our couple from Europe to New Orleans and back. Remy and Isabella have to work hard to destroy the weapon without getting killed. That is hard enough, but when you add in the fact that Remy has an enemy who wants him dead, it becomes very, very personal. Remy is going to have to come to grips with his past while he embraces the present and hopes for a new future. This is a very fast paced story that will keep the reader on the edge of their seat.

Isabella is in danger, they want her invention and her dead. Remy, code named Nitro the enforcer for Cerberus finds her and is there to protect her. They go on an action pack adventure and on there journey which has them going everywhere, there fake relationship starts to become a reality. This book is the reason I love Delta James, the suspense, action and chemistry is always so intense. I get so caught up in the story line and characters I can’t put the books down. This book builds and builds in every aspect. I adore the discovery of going home some times is exactly what you need. This book left me on edge and waiting for the next one. This is an excellent read and addition to an absolutely amazing series.

This is Isabella & Remy's book. It was really good up to a point. Isabella wasn't the standard weak female character that suddenly know how to be an operator. She was an intelligent scientist who knew how to stay alive. Remy had some ghosts but only one threatened to overshadow the book. The ending confrontation did drag more than necessary. Remy should have groveled a bit more. That said, the introduction of Remy's family added to the book. They had their secrets as well and it all came together. It made the reader look forward to the next book in the series. It has seemed for a while, if the author isn't returning to the old way of writing and maintaining the current formulated version, Cerberus has reached its lackluster end. Code Name: Nitro begins with intense suspense and action from page 1 and doesn't let up through the entire book! I absolutely devoured this one and couldn't put it down! Delta James did a wonderful job as Isabella and Remy's story is so well written that with its fast pace and action packed storyline I was fully invested and had to keep reading til the end!
This story is so compelling and immersed with the tense anticipation of the danger and threats coming after them, the betrayal, their dynamic and passionate relationship that is instantaneous, reconnecting with family, secrets, acceptance and love.

Lots of action! Isabella is smart as a whip and, unlike many, when presented with a dangerous situation beyond her norm, she doesn’t freeze and makes very intelligent decisions at every step. She puts her trust in Remy and bows to his expertise to keep her alive. In the process, they find their needs and desires complement each other perfectly. Isabella is strong and brilliant but finds peace and connection in submitting. Remy is adept at blowing things up and moving on, but Isabella’s determination to do the right thing, rising to every challenge, speaks to him. Loved the interweaving of the family with their various skill sets and the Cerberus connections. Good read!

Could not put this one down until the end. The author gave me an intense action packed romance featuring the brilliant Dr. Isabella Durand and Remy Pascal of Cerberus known as Nitro. Isabella has created what she thinks is something to aid others and then finds out that her boss has betrayed her and now it is going to be used for evil. Nitro has been tasked with finding and protecting her. From there it was a wild and dangerous ride that had me on edge. Loved getting to see Remy’s depths, the sizzling chemistry, and cameos from my faves Fitzwallace, JJ and Cerberus. When Remy had to rescue the creator of a biochemical breakthrough turned into a weapon of destruction, they found themselves in danger trying to escape all the attempts from an enemy seeking revenge against Remy and the group trying to sell her invention on the open market.
A lot of action, running and blowing up buildings and starting fires. The Pascal family reunite and instead of disappointment and anger, they decide to work together. A surprise at the end highlighting the strength and fortitude of women.

Another excellent ,suspenseful , action packed story. I loved the dynamics between Isabelle and Remy. The chemistry and the dominance Remy has on Isabelle. She is smart, knows when to question and when to just trust Remy. Remy has more to worry about than keeping Isabelle safe, he also has to deal with his family and someone from his past who has a vendetta on him.
POV of each. Steam to the romance, and to me an HEA/HFN vibe with them. I loved what the future holds for them. This can be read as a standalone story .

I liked the way this story developed. Isabella and Remy (Nitro) are thrust into each others company when she needs to be removed from danger quickly. Nitro is taking no prisoners but finds himself in danger and a chase across Europe ensues, in order to find safety he resolves to get to his old family home, although things do not go too well initially when he first meets up with his family. I did like the way this story played out and how the relationship between Isabella and Remy developed. Looking forward to reading more in this series.

This was such an intense action filled whirlwind adventure that I couldn't put down. The revelation and unexpected turn of events that make up this story was heartwarming and endearing. Isabella sees a colleague's laptop running while he is out attending something to do with his daughter.When she looks closer it is her research but it has been altered and weaponized and has a list of buyers in this form. She copies it on to a pen drive but he returns just as she is finishing up. Knowing he will soon realize want she has done see does not return home. Remy is sent to get Isabella away from those hunting her but find an enemy of his is also in the mix of players.

Great story. Isabella is a chemist that discovered that her boss weaponized her invention and is on the run from assassins that are going to kill her. She meets Nitro (Remy) when she is compromised and he is sent to save her. Remy takes her to New Orleans to his family home that he hasn't seen for years. When they discover that the weaponized spray is being sold, Luc, his brother, will come to their aid to stop the sale. This book is full of danger, drama, mixed emotions and a happy ending. I enjoyed reading this book.
