Inspiring and very informative. So what's wrong with being black? Nothing. Finished Reading!
What Is Wrong With Being Black is a book written by Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo a Nigerian based in the UK. The book revealed historical stories of black people to explain to readers that black people had a great beginning and are very blessed. Nimrod is one of the perfect examples of a great black king who once ruled the world. But for every great people who neglect God or are disobedient to His instructions the end is always devastating. As a result of disobedience to God's instructions the black race found themselves in the mould.
In summary in my view, the book reveals that the black people have great heritage, they are also Abraham's sons. There is nothing wrong with being black after all. A black man ought to live his live with pride and serve God truthfully and regain his original position of greatness. It is a thing of blessing being black for blacks have also been responsible for so much progress and powerful inventions in the world.
this book did for me 3 Things- opened eyes, renewed mind and most importantly restored my heart to God. I never really understood why certain things happened or is happening to "a race" but as a person of colour there is hope! This book is filled with more than just "historical information" of what we already know, it gives ANSWERS to so many questions about our beautiful black race, i believe I did my self and generation a HUGE favour by reading this book. I intend to research this sensitive topic ... Thank you Pastor Mathew!
Deeply disturbing trends documented in this book. I took along time to read because I had to absorb the information. I would read it again and like books but I was not happy with the prognoses of the black race.
