Natalieeeeee, girl! I thought I was ready for Julian Stavros, but this man isn’t someone you can prepare for. He WRECKED Natasha and me. 😂🥵
“Mm, that’s my dirty little angel.”
This duet style narration by James Cassidy & Savannah Thomas was INCREDIBLE. Both narrators were new for me but omg I need to go find everything they’ve ever done because I freaking loved this audiobook!
“You can have literally anything in the world that you want. How many times do I have to tell you that before you believe me? There’s no limit to what I’ll give you, Angel.”
Julian Stavros, is cold, calculating, and ruthless. He has built his name and his empire and he would do anything to protect it and his ‘family’. So when he realizes how far his own son has fallen, he steps into his arranged marriage.
“You’re a Mafia queen, Natasha. If you don’t like something, or someone, you say so, and it changes immediately.”
Natasha Ivanov knows how to be a ‘perfect’ mafia wife, but she isn’t ready for the man that rewrites all the rules she thought she knew. Julian was a man obsessed, and he would burn the world down to protect her.
“I’m never too busy for you. I want you to tell me what you need or want. Always.”
I’m going to warn you now, even if Julian messes up, the GROVEL is worth it in the end! (Ohhhh, by the way, the spice in this book is NEXT LEVEL!) 🥵🫠
“Good girl. You’re so beautiful on your knees for me.”
I can’t wait for the next book in the series! These books suck you right into the dirty underworld of Vegas and they guarantee to have you entranced for the whole read!
Tropes: 💍 Arranged Marriage (Fiancé’s Dad) 🩶 Dark Romance 💎 Ruthless Greek Mafia King 🤭 He is Obsessed 🫶🏼 (Soft Only For Her) 💋 Innocent FMC 👊🏼 WHO HURT YOU?
OBSESSED. I think that's the only word I can use to describe how much I loved this one.
Julian is the Greek Mafia boss. He's powerful & dangerous and you definitely don't want to cross him. But when I tell you he is down badddd for Natasha!!! He would literally burn the world down for her and not even bat an eye. That girl has been through some crap so seeing go from a meek, timid girl into an absolute mafia QUEEN was amazing!!! I loved how after they had some miscommunication between the two of them, she made him work for the forgiveness 👏🏻👏🏻. And the spice?? Whew!!! This book was absolutely addicting and I'm dying for book 3!!!!!
🎧Audio:🎧 This is a duet narration by James Cassidy & Savannah Thomas. James has that deep, gravelly voice that gives off that dark, dangerous energy like a pro. It literally commands your attention. Savannah has that soft voice that portrayed all of Natasha's growth perfectly. James & Savannah are absolutely the definition of bringing characters to life. When I tell you that these two were PERFECTION. Do yourself a favor & listen to the audio!!!

Thank you so much to Natalie Kane for this ARC & ALC.
Blood King pulled me in from the first page with its intense atmosphere and emotional depth. The arranged marriage trope is done flawlessly, blending danger with slow-burn chemistry that becomes impossible to resist. I loved how both characters grow—forced together by circumstance yet undeniably drawn to each other. The mafia world feels gritty and authentic, and every chapter builds tension that kept me turning pages late into the night. The writing is beautiful, the pacing perfect, and the romance unforgettable. This book delivers everything I expect from a dark mafia romance. Absolutely a five-star experience.
Julian is sexy as sin. Natasha is one bad*ss MF. Sorry for the language but I am just in awe.
They are a match made in mafia heaven. The instant connection Julian has to Natasha is so swoon worthy. Even if it was a little unconventional since she was engaged to his son via an arranged marriage. 🫣
I must say Elliot, Julian’s son, is a Grade A *sshole, sorry more language but even that’s too nice of a word for him 😂
This story has obvious Mafia vibes with some brutal scenes but it’s what I expected for a Mafia story. It is also so spicy, I loved it! 🥵
Natasha has seen some things and has found her strength in Julian and his found family. Seeing her turn into a MAFIA QUEEN, was absolutely amazing, especially after everything she’s been through (iykyk, I don’t want to give away any spoilers 🤐)
If you have a chance to listen to the audio, I’m begging you - PLEASE DO!
James Cassidy and Savannah Thomas are absolutely STUNNING ✨
Thank you SO much for the opportunity to read and listen early Natalie Kane!
You have created a HUGE mafia fan and I cannot wait FOR Mateo’s story! 🖤✨🖤

Blood King is book 2 in the Kings of Vegas series and follows Julian and Natasha's story.
"You're everything I've ever wanted in my life. More than power, more than money. You're the beginning and the end."
Ummm excuse me Miss Natalie but did you just give us the PERFECT Mafia Boss? Why yes, yes you did! "Daddy" Julian Stavros was FIRE!! He's the feared mafia boss you don't ever want to cross but behind closed doors, with his queen, he's PERFECTION! 10/10 not kicking him out of my bed!
Blood King is full of power, obsession, and a love story that should never work but most definitely does even with the 21yr age gap! It's messy, it's complicated but absolute perfection!
Julian is ruthless, obsessive and completely off the rails when it comes to protecting Natasha. Meanwhile, Natasha is so much stronger than she thinks she is. Although she was trained to be the quiet, obedient mafia wife by her POS father, she learns to eventually find her voice and becomes the Mafia Queen she was supposed to be alongside Julian!
Oh, and just when you think everything is good, secrets and betrayal raise the stakes even higher!
Definitely a must add to your TBR!

*Thank you Natalie Kane for the opportunity to read this as an ARC
I am in love with this series! Privileged to receive ARC by the author and read it in less than 24 hours. I love an age gap, mafia, and protective trope book and Blood King has this all in spades. There are times when I wanted to cry for and with Natasha and a slight time when Julian was in my bad books (he redeemed himself) Definitely can not wait for the next book and this series will be one that I will read again and again.
I absolutely LOVED Blood King by Natalie Kane; it is an incredible age gap Mafia arranged marriage love story. Mafia romance has not been one of my preferred genres in the past, but Blood King has changed that. It is the second book in Kings of Vegas series. It is the debut novel for Kristen Proby writing as Natalie Kane; she continues to show that she is an amazing storyteller. Natalie Kane will be a must-read author for me. I was hooked from the first few pages, and it was impossible to put Blood King down, it filled me with a rollercoaster of emotions, and I loved every moment on every page. Blood King is one of my favorite books that I have read recently, it kept me on the edge of my seat. Who does not love hot sexy men, strong females, loving families, and friends, who always support one another? Blood King is the story of Julian Stavros, head of the Greek Mafia and one of the Kings of Vegas and Natasha Ivanov, daughter of the Sergei Ivanov, head of the Bratva. Sergei enters into a marriage contract with Julian between Sergei’s daughter, Natasha and Julian’s son Elliott, so that Sergei’s debt will be forgiven. Julian is immediately attracted to Natasha, but is concerned about their age gap. This is the reason that Julian chose Elliott to marry Natasha. Before the wedding can take place, Julian finds that his son in a private room at Rapture assaulting Natasha after he had assaulted a Rapture worker. Julian decides to punish Elliott for his behavior and puts him in a cell until he learns his lesson. Julian decides to marry Natasha and Sergei wants to use that as leverage to partner with Julian. Natasha only discovers that she is marrying Julian instead of Elliott at the altar. I love the changes that Lulu makes to Natasha’s wedding dress prior to the wedding. I love everything that Julian does for Natasha to make her feel safe and how he instructs Lulu to purchase clothing for Natasha. Julian is so patient with a naïve Natasha especially when she keeps telling him all the things that she must do as the wife of a mafia king. I love the chemistry between Natasha and Julian. I love the conversations between them that flow so easily, with innuendos and playful banter, with a dirty talking Julian. I love the nickname that Julian calls Natasha and his explanation why. I love all the little things they do for each other. I love all the heart-to-heart conversations that take place in Blood King, especially when Natasha reveals details about her relationship with her abusive father and when Julian reveals what happened to Elliott’s mother. I love everything that Julian does for Natasha. The darker side of mafia romance was very well written, intriguing, and entertaining. I loved that Blood King is more than just a romance, there are dilemmas that both Natasha and Julian are facing that need to be resolved, what is going on with Julian’s missing gemstone deliveries. Plot twists put their relationship and Natasha’s life in jeopardy. I love all the unexpected surprises that are exposed as a result of the plot twists. I love the changes that take place in Elliott and how he helps Julian rescue Natasha. I love everything that Julian does for Natasha following the plot twist. I love ending of Natasha and Julian’s love story, how both Natasha and Julian change because of their love for one another, and the changes they make in their lives so that they can have a life together. I love that the finally admit their love for each other. I love that it was the perfect ending to their love story. My favorite part was how Julian retrieved Natasha’s wedding ring and the changes he made to the ring. My favorite part is how Natalie Kane incorporates the picture on the cover and the title of the book into Natasha and Julian’s love story. Another favorite part is how the epilogue is told from Natasha’s perspective that take place one year later and the surprises revealed in the epilogue. My favorite part of the story is the bonus epilogue that takes place five and fifteen years later and told from Julian’s perspective. I love everything about the bonus epilogue. Another favorite part is the preview for Savage King, cannot wait to read it! I really enjoy how the book is written in the first person from the perspective of the main characters. I love getting inside their minds and knowing their thoughts and how they really feel. Blood King is filled with heartbreaking and heartwarming moments that I have come to love and expect in a love story, and Natalie Kane did not disappoint, especially with the poignant and bittersweet moments as well as plot twists and surprises that filled this page turner. I love Natasha’s friendship with both Lulu and Scarlett. I loved catching up with all the Kings of Vegas. I love the family dynamic in Blood King, the characters feel like family and friends. I enjoyed all the interactions between the Kings of Vegas. It feels like real family love and makes me laugh at their teasing. Who does not love family and friends that always have each other’s backs? I loved all the characters in Blood King, who does not love an age gap/arranged marriage Mafia romance love story. Looking forward to reading the other books in the series. Highly recommend this incredible love story. Received an advanced copy from the author.
I wasn’t prepared for how completely Blood King would take over my life, but from the very first chapter, I was hooked. The atmosphere is dark, intense, and layered with emotion, pulling you straight into a dangerous world where power, loyalty, and desire collide. The arranged marriage trope is executed so well, creating a slow-building tension that simmers before it fully ignites.
Julian and Natasha are absolutely unforgettable. Julian is everything you want in a mafia king—commanding, protective, and utterly devoted in a way that makes your heart race. And Natasha? She is incredible. Watching her evolve from someone controlled by others into a fierce, unshakable force was one of the most satisfying character journeys I’ve read. Together, they create a connection that feels inevitable, even when the circumstances surrounding them are anything but conventional—especially given her engagement to Elliot, Julian’s son. And honestly, Elliot is beyond frustrating… and that’s putting it lightly.
The chemistry between Julian and Natasha is electric from the start. It’s a mix of restraint, longing, and undeniable pull that builds into something both tender and intensely passionate. The balance between emotional depth and heat is done beautifully, and while the story definitely leans into its darker elements, it never loses sight of the characters’ growth and healing.
The mafia backdrop feels raw and unfiltered, with moments of brutality that fit the world perfectly. Add in the twists, suspense, and constant sense of anticipation, and it becomes nearly impossible to put down. I ended up finishing it in a single day because I just couldn’t step away.
The audiobook experience takes everything to another level. James Cassidy brings Julian to life with a voice that is rich, commanding, and full of intensity, perfectly capturing his dominance and vulnerability. Savannah Thomas delivers an equally powerful performance as Natasha, portraying every stage of her transformation with so much emotion that you feel it in your chest. Together, they elevate an already gripping story into something completely immersive.
This was my second time reading Natalie Kane, and once again, she completely delivered. If you love age-gap romance, mafia dynamics, emotionally rich character arcs, and stories that balance darkness with passion and growth, this one absolutely hits the mark. Just make sure to check the content warnings beforehand—this story does not hold back.
Blood King by Natalie Kane Kings of Vegas, Book 2 Narrated by Savanna Thomas & James Cassidy Approximate Listen Time: 8 Hours and 18 minutes
Natalie has done it again and pulls you straight into a dark, high-stakes world where power, loyalty, and love collides....This book does not let you go.
Set against the dangerous backdrop of Vegas’s ruling mafia elite, this story centers on Julian, the commanding head of the Greek mafia, and Natasha, a woman caught in an arranged marriage that quickly spirals into something far more complicated. What unfolds is an intense, emotional journey layered with tension, betrayal, and unexpected connections.
Julian is the kind of morally gray hero that’s impossible to ignore. He's ruthless when he needs to be, but with a depth that slowly unravels as the story progresses. Natasha is equally compelling, showing strength and resilience even when the odds are stacked against her. Their chemistry is undeniable. Built on a slow burn that’s packed with angst, longing, and moments that will absolutely wreck you in the best way. And the spice....MERCY.....
One of the standout elements of this book is how it plays with expectations. The dynamics between the characters, especially within the “Kings of Vegas”. Their loyalty to each other gives richness to the story. This is more than just a romance. There’s shifting alliances, and just enough emotional complexity to keep you fully invested.
I had the honor of listening to this story play out. The audiobook experience is elevated by James Cassidy as Julian and Savannah Thomas as Natasha. James brings a commanding, gravelly (and boy, is he growly) intensity to Julian that perfectly captures his power and inner conflict. Savannah delivers Natasha’s strength and vulnerability with emotional depth. Together, they create a dynamic performance that heightens the angst and chemistry, making the story even more immersive.
The tension hits hard, the stakes feel real, and the emotional payoff is worth every moment of angst. If you love mafia romance with powerful alpha heroes, strong heroines, and a found family that blends grit with heart, Blood King and this series are 100% worth picking up.

I finished this ALC in one day. ONE DAY! I hit play thinking it was going to be another book to listen to while I worked and holy moly it consumed my entire day.
The storyline was unbelievable. So good. Age gap romance done so right!! This is my first Natalie Kane book and you can bet it will not be my last.
Julian Stavros is my dream man. He’s powerful, protective, patient, and so down bad for his lady. Not only is this mmc hotttt AF but the fmc is a literal badass. I loved watching Natasha go from a docile puppet to a damn mafia QUEEN. Her character arc is probably one of the best ever written. 💯
The age gap and arranged marriage in this book was done so well. You could feel the yearning and emotional connection between Julian and Natasha from their first unofficial meeting. It was sweet, gentle, patient; but also dark and sexy. I was deeply connected to the characters and their journeys throughout the book. The suspense and plot twists kept me amped the entire way.
Audiobook thoughts — You do not want to skip on this one. Two of the best narrators of all time worked together on this Duet and it slays!!!
James Cassidy 🙌🏼 His voice is deep, powerful, edgy. I love how he just owns his space and brings his characters to life. He shows so much raw emotion in his voice that you get lost in it. He was the perfect voice for Julian.
Savannah Thomas has such incredible, emotional range and was the perfect Natasha. From small and timid, to strong and powerful — you could feel every emotion in her voice and it made the story that much stronger. I was literally crying at one point in the story because of how emotional Savannah’s voice sounded.
Blood King is an age gap, mafia romance book with dark themes and open door spice. Please check the list of trigger warnings before reading! Your mental health matters 🖤
Blood King by Natalie Kane. Book 2 of Kings of Vegas series. Releasing 04/02/2026
We are back in Vegas with the Kings and now Julian Stavros, head of Greek mafia is dealing with the arranged marriage between his son and Natasha Ivanov, Bratva princess. When Elliott royally screws up, Julian has to step in - in more ways than one because he suddenly becomes the groom.
Natasha's been a pawn in her family since her birth. She's been groomed to be a perfect 'Mafia wife' but she's terrified of marrying Elliott. When she sees Julian at the altar, she gets her hopes up. Neither one wants to be in this marriage, but they definitely catch feelings... and when it's Julian's turn to screw things up be prepared for the grovel to end all grovels.
Whoa, Natalie! When you decided to "go dark", you dove right in. The Kings haven't heard of 'morally gray'- they are pitch black, dark and unapologetic for it. At the same time, they are fiercely loyal and protectives of the few people they let in and they love. Julian is immediately smitten with the angelic, innocent and demure Natasha, while she can't believe that he is so nice to her. And then the mafia shenanigans come back to bite their budding romance...
Narrated in duet by Savannah Thomas and James Cassidy who are FIRE. Savannah is phenomenal as the reserved, skittish Natasha who slowly finds her footing and becomes a Mafia queen. James Cassidy has proved time and again that he can make a hero like Julian be equally swoony and terrifying. Quite the mix!
You will get the mafia Kings, a virgin heroine, an "I hate everyone but you" hero, found family, a 'redemption' arc for a son, and all the "my wife"vibes. It's swoony, gory, unhinged, fun and hot!
I can't wait for the next King!
Content notes (including but not limited to): violence, torture, gore, physical and psychological abuse by a parent, criminal activities. Mentions if alcohol, drug and gambling addiction.
Holy moly… Blood King completely pulled me in from the start and did not let go. I hit play thinking I’d just check it out and suddenly I was fully consumed, needing to know what was coming next every second. And every time I thought I had a handle on it… it hit me again.
Natalie Kane just gets it. Her men are down bad in the most dangerous, obsessive, ride or die way and I eat that up every single time. Julian is no exception. Powerful, patient, protective and unexpectedly gentle until betrayal flips that switch and reminds you exactly who he is. A mafia king through and through.
This world feels gritty and real, layered with tension, loyalty and found family that actually matters. The arranged marriage setup was done so well, especially with the twist of father instead of son stepping in. The age gap, the power dynamic, the emotional pull between Julian and Natasha… it all just worked.
Natasha’s journey was one of my favorite parts. Watching her grow into her strength and truly understand what it means to live and be loved was so enjoyable .
And the audiobook… WOW! James Cassidy absolutely owns this space. His voice has that deep, dangerous edge that you feel in your bones. The accents, the control, the intensity… and when the spice hits, it is next level. He brings that morally gray energy to life in a way that is impossible to ignore.
Savannah Thomas was incredible as Natasha. She gave her such a soft strength that slowly builds into something powerful. You can feel every shift in her character, every emotion, and it made the story truly come to life.
Dark, addictive, emotional and seriously hot.
I’m a huge fan of Natalie Kane and this world. I cannot wait to see what comes next.
Blood King by Natalie Kane aka Kristen Proby absolutely delivered—and dare I say, it was even better than Sinful King 👀
From the very first chapter, I was hooked on the intensity, the danger, and the undeniable chemistry between Natasha and Julian. There was just something about this pairing that worked on every level, and yes… we need to talk about that age gap 👏 Because WOW—it was done so well here. It never felt forced or awkward; instead, it added this delicious layer of tension, maturity, and emotional depth that made their connection even more compelling.
And JULIAN. A powerful, protective, dangerously charming Greek man?? Chef’s kiss. Everything about him screamed alpha in the best way—calculated, commanding, but still capable of vulnerability when it came to Natasha. Their dynamic had that perfect push-and-pull that kept me completely invested.
What really stood out to me in this book compared to Sinful King was the emotional depth. The stakes felt higher, the relationship felt more layered, and I found myself more connected to the characters and their journey. The romance had that addictive blend of passion and heart, while still delivering on the suspense and intrigue that kept the pages turning.
Natalie Kane truly knows how to craft a romance that feels both steamy and meaningful, and Blood King is a perfect example of that balance.
And the audio was to DIE for! The two narrators picked to portray Julian and Natasha were PERFECT! I could have sit and listened to their voices on repeat!
If you love: ✨ Age gap romance done RIGHT ✨ Powerful, swoon-worthy heroes ✨ High-stakes tension + emotional payoff ✨ A romance that completely consumes you
…then you need this one on your TBR immediately.
Thank you to the author for the gifted ARC—this one will definitely be sticking with me 💫
Julian, the head of the Greek mafia, is a man of extremes. He is the ruthless, calculating, and cold to the world character, yet unexpectedly tender and deeply protective when it comes to Natasha. That contrast is what really drives this story.
Natasha’s situation is heartbreaking from the start. Forced into an arranged marriage by her truly awful father, she’s tied to Elliot, Julian’s entitled, reckless son who abuses his power and her. When Elliot crosses the line (again), Julian steps in and completely flips the narrative by taking matters into his own hands… and marries Natasha himself. It’s shocking, messy, and very much in line with the dark romance genre.
Despite the huge age gap and the unconventional (and morally gray) setup, Natasha finally finds something she’s never had before: safety, stability, and even happiness. Watching her growth throughout the story was one of the strongest parts for me. Julian and Natasha’s relationship is far from simple.. they face a lot, especially with her toxic father continuing to interfere but there’s a compelling push and pull that keeps you invested.
This isn’t a black-and-white story by any means. There are definitely moments where you’re like “what did I just read?” but that’s part of what makes dark romance what it is, messy, complicated, and full of gray areas.
The narration really elevated everything. Savannah Thomas captured Natasha’s vulnerability and growth beautifully, while James Cassidy nailed Julian’s cold, controlled demeanor with just the right hints of warmth underneath.
Overall, this was a strong addition to the series…intense, emotional, and just chaotic enough to keep you hooked. I’m definitely curious (and a little nervous) to see where the story goes next.
Tropes: Dark Mafia Arranged Marriage Age Gap Touch Her and Die Toxic Family Members Band of Brothers
A Dark, Addictive Power Play You Won’t Escape – Blood King Casts a Spell That Lingers
From the very first teaser, Blood King, book two in Natalie Kane’s Kings of Vegas series, had me completely enthralled—like stepping into a magician’s illusion where escape is no longer an option. And once I fell under Julian and Natasha’s world… there was no coming back.
This is a dark, dangerous, spine-tingling romance that grips you tight and refuses to let go. But what truly surprised me wasn’t just the intensity—it was how deeply I became invested in Natasha.
Raised in a suffocating, gut-wrenching existence as a Bratva princess, Natasha has spent her entire life trapped in a cage built by her father. Her journey is anything but easy. Watching her slowly emerge from that cocoon—fragile yet resilient—into a woman finding her strength is both emotional and powerful.
And then there’s Julian.
Older, commanding, and utterly captivating, Julian is a man who wasn’t supposed to want her. She’s promised to his son, after all. But from the moment he sees Natasha, something shifts. And when he witnesses the cruelty she endures, everything changes. What follows is a forbidden, explosive dynamic that blurs lines, ignites tension, and pulls you deeper into the darkness.
This story is layered with twists, betrayal, and raw, consuming passion. The chemistry is intense, the stakes are high, and the emotional undercurrent gives it real depth beyond the danger and heat. Every chapter tightens its hold until you’re breathless, racing toward an ending that leaves you reeling.
Once you step into this world, you won’t want to leave.
If you like: • Dark mafia/Bratva romance • Forbidden, age-gap dynamics • Possessive, powerful anti-heroes • Emotional character transformation arcs • High tension with twists and betrayal
This series is shaping up to be utterly addictive—and Blood King proves it in the most spellbinding way.
I absolutely loved it and could not put it down. The tension between Julian and Natasha, both emotional and physical, is off the charts. Their arranged marriage is meant to settle a debt and maintain peace, but the way Julian is drawn to Natasha and fiercely protects her is so compelling that I was immediately over the moon for him. And he truly puts the “black” in morally gray—he’s a ruthless King of Vegas and head of the Greek mob. I love these four brothers and their all-consuming devotion to their women. The steam in this book is next level and perfectly showcases how well-suited Julian and Natasha are for each other.
The character growth here is so satisfying. It’s easy to cheer Natasha on as she finds her voice, her worth, and embraces her sensuality. Julian, in turn, learns to trust beyond his inner circle, and when he makes a mistake, he isn’t afraid to be patient and put in the work to make things right. This is a thrill-a-minute read, with action, suspense, and emotion that kept me completely glued to the story.
James Cassidy and Savannah Thomas were new-to-me narrators, and they were perfect for this duet narration. I loved the resonance and deep timbre of James’s voice; it set the ideal tone for Julian and the Kings. Savannah brings a sweetness layered with spunk that makes her a perfect Natasha. Whether I was listening or reading, I was completely captivated by these characters and their story.
I loved Blood King. It was unhinged, over the top and oh so enjoyable. It sucked me in from the very beginning and held me hostage until the end. I couldn't bear to put this book down it was so good. It kept my attention and kept me fully immersed in the story. It was highly entertaining, intense, steamy, a bit gory and just ahhmazing. I loved the relationship dynamics between the main characters, Natasha and Julian as well as their friendships. I loved the way they were with each other. It did a workout on my emotions.
The audiobook was phenomenal. It was brilliantly excecuted by the narrators, James Cassidy and Savannah Thomas. They did an absolutely amazing job bringing this book and characters to life. James Cassidy woo that's man's voice, Lord have mercy it's dark, deep and delicious. I loved listening to him from the different accents, intonations, tones of voice to the different languages. He was a feast to my ears. Every term of endearment he uttered made me a swoony, gooey mess. I loved his performance, Savannah Thomas' too. Her performance was powerful in the way she exuded Natalie's youth, the stages of her growth and emotions throughout the story. It was awesome. I loved the way they played off each other in those teasing, banter filled moments.
This book worked for me on all levels. I very highly recommend it especially to those who love mafia romance.
This book is absolutely amazing. I devoured this audiobook as well as followed along, I was that captured by the story. I am loving this side that we get of an exceptional author. Natalie Kane has brought an arranged marriage in the Kings of Vegas series that will bring you to your knees.
Julian is the one that I knew I would love. He has this way about him that is so cold and demanding. But when it comes to his loved ones, you get a softer side of him. I loved the layers he shown in this story. Natasha is the meek woman that is told who to marry and instead of the one she thought she was going to marry, she marries his father. I really liked her character, and loved the way she grew into her role as the story went.
Natasha and Julian are the couple you didn't see happening, but love them all the same. I felt like she shined a bit of light to his darkness. But he also gave her the strength to be confident in who she is.
James Cassidy and Savannah Thomas narrate this in duet narration and it is chef's kiss!! I could not get enough of these two together! The way James voice was full of gravel was perfection. I could not have picked a better voice for Julian. Savannah has a soft and sweet voice that was spot on for Natasha. I felt like these narrators hit the hight emotions and turmoil during the story in the best way.
I am so in love with this series and I can't wait for more from Natalie Kane and this Mafia world that she had created. I am so obsessed and I need more.
Like I want to eat Julian, I.ATE.THIS.BOOK.UP!! It has been alittle while since I have been able to devour a book so quickly, but Julian wrapped his hand around my throat and had me in the most delicious chokehold, I would have done anything for him!!!!
This is Book 2 in the Kings of Vegas series, and even though are all standalones, I appreciate having the chance to read them in order. As the 'Kings' are four non blood brothers, tighter probably than some blood brothers, and they rule over Vegas. But, there 'undoing' is the women who bring them to their knees (and yes in that way too....IYKYK) smoothing out those tough exteriors, and soothing those murderous minds. Natasha is that for Julian, and what started as a contract wife for his son, becomes his wife. Natasha has been downtrodden, abused and bought up to be the perfect mafia wife, and her attraction to Julian is the same for him with her. Just by being him, he earns her trust, but a misunderstanding sees a side of Julian she never hoped would be directed at her, but the reason for this does become clear.
What I love about Natasha is how strong she becomes alongside Julian, and these two together slowly burn, and she is MORE than eager to learn. I could have kept reading their story, and I may have squealed and rejoiced at a few key points throughout, but Kristen Proby's alter ego Natalie, can officially add amazing 'dark romance' author to her bow. Pure Deliciousness.
This story was so addicting!! I seriously put all of my other responsibilities on hold because I was so into this book!
I don't know what else to say except I DEVORED this in one setting! Julian is this powerful and morally gray, Greek Mafia Don but when it came to Natasha he was the sweetest freaking man! He was patient and kind and what surprised me the most was how gentle he was. Natasha has been raised to be meek and quiet and to be the perfect mafia wife. But once she marries Julian he shows her how to have her own voice and to demand, not ask, for what she wants. I loved seeing her character growth and in the end she transformed into this powerful Mafia Queen and I LOVED it! The chemistry was off the charts!! Julian and Natasha were a perfect match and were loyal and supportive and I didn't want their story to end! Obsessed with this series and I can't wait for more!
AUDIO: This was narrated in duet by Savannah Thomas and James Cassidy and PSA warning: have a fan with you because this one is HOT! James Cassidy knows what he is doing and does it well! The deep tone of his voice was perfect for his morally grey Mafia King! And Savannah!! She was outstanding! They way she goes from shy and timid to Mafia Queen here me roar blew me away! My favorite performance by her!

Oh, my word, I don’t know what Natalie put in this book, but she needs to keep writing them. My jaw hit the floor too many times to count and the way I would kick my feet and squeal was next level. I mean seriously I blushed hardcore with this Julian that I felt like I was cheating on Rome. I guess maybe I was, though I must give that man some props the way he protected Eloise is still fantastic. There was not a moment when I wanted to stop listening to both Savannah and James. Honestly, they were the perfect voice for Natasha and Julian. This man! Julian never expected to get married, yet he steps up because there is something about Natasha that he can’t ignore. It is listening to him as he becomes next level protective of her and would do anything to ensure her safety. I love that he allows her to find her voice and speak up. He gives her, herself back. The version of who she wants to be and not who was expected to be. Natasha is truly so strong. Natalie does such a fantastic job writing her FMC’s with inner strength and Natasha exudes it. She is beautiful naive and the way Julian brings her out of her shell is a thing of pure beauty. I think one of my favorite things is how the ladies all become their own unit. They give Natasha, the sisterhood that she has always wanted. But it is the safety she feels with Julian she flourishes further. There is absolutely nothing about this book, I didn’t love. And I am BEYOND ready for the next book.
4.5⭐ I was really anticipating this book and it absolutely did not disappoint! I listened to the audio and literally couldn't stop finishing it all within the same day.
The book follows Julian the head of the greek mafia who takes over as the groom from his son to marry Natasha a Russian mafia princess in an arranged marriage.
The narration was really good for the audio, I loved both of the narrators they really got all the emotions across and there were some really tough moments in this book, alot of up and downs that I thought they conveyed brilliantly.
I love that the brotherhood and darker side of this book continues to shine while the romance of Julian and Natasha is completely different from book one. Natasha has a tough time in this book but for multiple reasons but I loved her finding her light then going from strength to strength, I especially loved her friendship with the girls. Julian was such a sweetheart at times but there were moments I wanted to reach in and shake him during this book. That though is what gave this book such a great edge you didn't know whether to love, like or hate a couple of the characters and that kept me on my toes throughout. I love the edge of suspense this series is giving in each book but with a story line flowing through the books aside the current book plot line. This is a really fantastic series so far and I can't wait for the book.
Natasha's father arranged a marriage for her to Elliot, the son of a Greek mobster and one of the most powerful Kings of Vegas, Julian Stavros. When Julian discovers that his son is not who he thought he was and is actually abusive to Natasha, he decides to teach him a lesson and takes his place, marrying her. It's not like that was hard for him. 🤭 Since their first meeting, sparks have been flying between Natasha and Julian, which they both try to ignore. Julian, because she is much younger than him, and she, because he is her fiancé's father. I love their chemistry and how their relationship develops. Natasha is slowly finding her voice and courage with his help, and it was beautiful. I think he could have handled himself better when what happened happened. (this is me trying not to spoil anything.) While I understand him, she really didn't deserve this, and I was so angry and hurt on her behalf.
Another wonderful story for all mafia romance fans with an obsessed hero, a great story that I read in a couple of hours because I couldn't stop reading it. Yes, it was that addictive!

4.5 Stars Blood⭐️ King is the second book in Natalie King’s (Kristen Proby) Kings of Vegas series. It is a mafia romance, age gap, touch her & die, ex’s dad, arranged marriage, obsessed hero, virgin heroine romance.
Natasha is being sold into marriage to Julian’s son, Elliot. Like her father, Eliot was absuive to Natasha, and when Julian found out…🩸😳Julian decided to marry Natasha because his son was no one available as Julian was teaching him a well earned lesson. Julian and Natasha wanted each other from their first meeting. She was only the only he wouldn’t hurt as long as she didn’t betray him. He loved the fire in her that she showed after healing from the abuse that she endured for most of her life. I really loved their interactions and the growth of their romance. Their communication was good, except for one part that while I understood each of their reactions to it was not okay. I really like the conflict and the mafia action on page. I also love the girl friendship that Natasha and Eloise. I love the found family vibes that are the four kings of Vegas.
The audiobook was a fantastic time with Savanah Thomas and James Cassidy delivering a perfect duet narration. The audiobook is one not to miss if you love mafia romances!
Thank you to Kristen Proby for an ALC all thoughts and opinions are my own.
This audiobook absolutely consumed me. Are Mafia romances supposed to make you cry?
Blood King is dark, intense, and completely addictive. But what made it unforgettable for me was the emotional depth woven through all that power and danger. Natasha’s journey from feeling small, controlled, and unworthy to stepping fully into her strength was everything. Watching her reclaim her voice and her power wasn’t just satisfying, it was empowering.
And Julian… he is complicated in the best way. Protective, obsessive, ruthless but also deeply flawed. There were moments I wanted to shake him, and others where I felt the weight of how fiercely he loved. That push and pull made the story hit even harder, especially when Natasha refuses to simply fall back into his arms. She makes him earn her and I loved every second of that.
The found family element and the bond between these powerful couples adds another layer I didn’t expect to love as much as I did.
But the audiobook? Next level.
James Cassidy’s deep, gravelly voice as Julian was pure perfection! Commanding, intense, and completely fitting. Savannah Thomas brought Natasha to life in such a raw, emotional way. From vulnerability to absolute power. You feel her transformation.
This story is a full on experience! Dark, emotional, powerful, and impossible to put down. I didn’t just listen to it, I devoured it.
Natalie Kane gives us yet another amazing story with Julian and Natasha. Their story was intense, spicy, even nail biting at times. I loved every moment of it.
Julian is one of Vegas mafia kings and runs the city with his four other close friends. His son is set to marry Natasha but some things rattle up that arrangement and Julian fills in to marry her instead. From the moment Julian set eyes on Natasha, he has been smitten by her beauty and kindness. Natasha however has lived a life of torture and abuse by her parents and is now learning to live her life by being careful of what she does or says. Julian can see this and shows so much affection towards her that he immediately falls for her.
I am very thankful to the author for letting me get an ALC of this book to read along. I don't think I have ever listened to these narrators before and let me say they pulled it out of the water. James Cassidy as Julian.....his voice was perfect for the character. His voice acting was beyond what I could of expected. Savannah Thomas as Natasha, another amazing voice. Both narrators did amazing by their characters and I think readers and listeners will be thrilled with the outcome. Thank you both for voicing such amazing characters.
Overall, I think the series gets better as it continues. If you enjoy Mafia and a damsel in distress vibes, this is one for you.

Ohemgee. Holy cow Batman ‼️ I loved everything about this one. This book had me hooked from the first page all the way to the very end. There was action, suspense, angst, the friendships formed and I couldn’t forget the family aspect. This book had it all and Julian and Natasha were perfect.
Natasha has been promised in a marriage contract to Julian's son, Elliot. But Julian discovers his son has been abusing her, and just overall not treating her right, he steps in and marries her instead. Both already had a mutual respect and attraction but the chemistry, tension and spice wowzer‼️ Natasha needs to learn how to actually live and enjoy life, not just survive and Julian is there every single step of the way.
Savannah Thomas and James Cassidy deliver this audiobook in duet narration and it was absolutely chefs kiss. . Their narration brought so much more to this story. I felt everything these characters did. Highly recommend if you can choose audio it’s well worth the listen.
Thank you to the author and her team for the advance copies this one was chefs kill and I can’t wait for Mateo
4 stars for Julian and his Angel, Natasha ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Natalie Kane just knows how to draw a reader in. The love I have for Julian and Natasha? Ugh my heart. What an amazing follow-up to Sinful King.
Natasha Ivanov and Julian Stavros were hot hot hot!! I really loved Natasha. She had it rough and all I wanted to do while reading was jump into the book so I could give baby girl a hug. There were so many times while reading where I just felt for her. She had no friends, her family sucked and was all alone. That is until Julian comes into her life. Julian was the type of hero I love to read about. Over the top, unhınged when it comes to his girl and oh so sexy! The way he protected Natasha was sweet. I loved seeing someone stick up for her and give her the love she deserves.
And Lulu and Scarlett were amazing. They were the friends that Natasha needed and I love seeing their little friend group grow.
The spice in this book was just as hot as the first and once again I was surprised 😂! Julian was just as hot as Rome was. And no, I can't pick a favorite 🙂↔️. I love all the Kings of Vegas and cannot wait for Mateo and Carson to fall in love. I am so in love with this series and I cannot wait for the next one!!
Thank you to Natalie Kane for the opportunity to read an ARC!
Devoured this book in 24 hours! Julian's story was teased at the end of book one and I definitely took the bait. Natalie Kane's Mafia is violent, gritty possessive and protective. Everything I'm looking for in a mafia romance. I absolutely loved how brutal Julian was with everyone except Natasha and James Cassidy's voice brought that to life in my ears. James Cassidy's tone and growly narration was very welcome and worked perfectly for Julian. Savannah Thomas is a female narrator that I am starting to absolutely love, her narration is smooth and comfortable in my ears. Natasha has had a hard life as a Bratva princess, raised to be used as a pawn, accustomed to violence against her. Julian is the first man to ever make her feel safe. The vibes of this book absolutely hit for me!
I will say that there were moments of this book where I predicted parts of the storyline, found gaps in the continuity and were so angry with the characters I wanted to throw my headphones. But as a whole experience this was a great time and a book I will highly recommend to others.
I do recommend checking or listening to the content warnings as there are some difficult moments discussed and on the page.
