"Plans changed. Not her plans, but other people changed their plans all the time."

Emma is a very plan-oriented woman. If she has a plan, life is fine, but when she ventures from it, life goes crazy and she blames the bad things that happen on herself. I could relate to Emma because I like to have a plan in my life too, although I am more open to change than Emma is. I just like to feel in control and know what to expect. But life doesn't always dish out what we expect it to. She's beautiful, br

First things first...Charlie is mine! I see other's are trying to claim him but sorry ladies! I dare anyone to read this story without swooning, smiling and falling in love. Amy's writing always flows so naturally and her characters are very real and easy to relate to. I love that they have flaws, because none of us are perfect in real life, but that they still find that special person who brings out the best in them. Another beautifully written book from Amy! I miss Charlie already!

After reading The Better Man I was really excited when I heard the author was writing a book about each of the sisters. The Best Laid Plans is Emma her book, although technically it can be read as a standalone I think you'll enjoy this book much more if you read the Better Man first. Emma has story has already started in the first book, although this one focusses on her story. Just like Kendall her story was in the first book, but we still get to

I will never have enough of this woman's words. I call Charlie ladies, sorry, he's mine. This story was so great and made me smile like a goon many many times. I love the dynamics of these families so much I think because they remind me a lot of my own. Charlie and Emma's story is going to make you swoon and your heart swell and they'll make you want to crash a wedding reception asap. And bonus I LOVED getting to see Max and Kendall's story extended too! How long do I have to wait for Lucy's sto ...more

Thanks to Netgalley and Harlequin for the book in exchange for an honest review.

I enjoyed the first sister, Kendall's story and I was very much looking forward to reading about Emma. Charlie and his nicknames were something else I was looking forward too as well.

Emma has a plan, she knows exactly what she wants and what she has to do to get it. She wants love and a family and she knows that she wants to marry a doctor. Doctors know what nurses go through and will be able to understand why she

This was an okay for me I enjoyed the overall story, but found the romance to be a little lacking. I felt too much information was given which wasn’t needed. The author did not hold my interested for very long at a time. It was a wonderful plot and had some great characters. I wish that Emma and Charlie would have been more of the main focus. The author gives you stories inside of stories which were interesting but a little too much.

Charlie was a wonderful man with a great personality. What is t

This was just okay for me. I liked the overall story, but found the romance a little lacking. I went into it with the expectation that Emma and Charlie would be the main focus, but we got a lot of side stories instead. I really liked Charlie, he's an endearing character and had a nice personality. Everyone loves him and I liked how he had a special nickname for everyone he met. I didn't love Emma, she was a little too inflexible for me, she had a plan and was going to stick to it no matter wh

Emma Everhart has a plan and nothing will make her alter course. Emma believes that by making a plan and sticking to it, everything will work out perfectly. That is why she is flirting with the new resident on staff at the hospital. The problem is, she is falling for Charlie Fletcher, a paramedic who she believes is all wrong for her. To make matters worse, Charlies is best man in her sister’s upcoming wedding and when Charlie offers to help with the wedding plans, she isn’t in a place to refuse ...more

This review first appeared on my blog, Christy's Cozy Corners.

I adore this book! This is the second book I’ve read by Amy Vastine, and she is definitely one of my new favorite authors. I appreciate clean romance, and it can be hard to find. These clean romance authors know how to show love and romance without having to include sex or bad language.

I LOVE Charlie! I just want to pick him out of the book! He is the whole package…sweet, cute, loving, funny. But, of course, Emma plans to marry a doc

I absolutely adored The Best Laid Plans! I was immediately drawn into the story and couldn't get enough! After reading The Better Man, I enjoyed picking up with Emma and seeing her fall in love. I will admit that she drove me a little crazy at times because she was so focused on "her plan." But through her nuttiness, she was really sweet and kind and had a lot of fear over her future . . . something I think most people can relate to. Charlie was a wonderful character as well. He was so

This was a cute story.

I really like the author's writing style. I had a bit of a hard time connecting to the heroine at the beginning, but that changed some as the story moved forward. This book is definitely one of those where you will probably like the Hero more than the heroine, at least it was for me. But I enjoyed the overall story, in part thanks to Charlie.

Emma is very plan oriented, and I don't say that lightly. She has a plan for pretty much everything. Her next plan is; marrying the

I can't begin to tell you how much I loved The Best Laid Plans! I'll try...but first can we just gush over this absolutely gorgeous cover! ***swoon*** ♡♡♡
Amy has done a fantastic job immersing readers into the lives of these characters. And while I have not read the previous book in the series, I sure want to now!
I can't wait to get to know more about these sisters.

Charlie is the most cinnamon roll-y cinnamon roll to ever cinnamon roll, seriously. I was just about dying from adorableness. His "You don't deserve me" speech at the blackest moment of the book was heartrending because I could understand both his and Emma's positions, and I may have teared up at a few points during the book anyway, but I also laughed out loud multiple times.

Why does Amy Vastine only have so few books out? And how fast am I going to blow through them all??
