From his first hunting experiences in Montana at the age of 12, Jack Atcheson chronicles the richest adventures of a lifetime spent in quest of big game across the world - including Africa, North America and Asia.
A good book full of international hunting adventures back in a day when hunting was less crowded and things more easily got western. Jack had to use old fashioned gear that existed at the time but was so tough that he made it work in very unforgiving environments (e.g. freeze-dried food was less available). The bongo hunt in Zaire among cannibal tribes was incredible.
