Independent Reviewer for Archaeolibrarian I Dig Good Books.

Dragons with a difference are always a good bet for me, and this one did not disappoint!

The Zmaj dragons shift into, not a single person, but Aspects, each with a different part of the whole dragon. They feed of human sexual energy.

Finding a group of five humans in the barn was a godsend, but not all the humans are willing to submit.

Good solid world building, with some questions left unanswered (but in a good way!) great story line, twis

I love this new world created by Michele Zurlo! Not only are there dragon shifters (one of my favorite kind), but they shift into multiple humanoid aspects adding an interesting and very sexy twist to the normal 'one body per shifted form' rule. How many of us have wondered where all that mass goes when a large animal body(and they don't get much larger than dragons!) shifts into a lighter/smaller humanoid one - even when the humans are larger than life?

Not to say there aren't plenty of unanswe

Wow, the imagery was perfect in this book. But the real story is the emotional bonds that form between the characters. Oh, and the unbelievably sexiness that also happens between said characters. Great world building and wonderful story telling, loved it all!

No spoilers here, but I was totally sucked into the adventure that unfolded. The story followed two friends, Niall and Cassie, and introduced other characters who, I assume, are featured in subsequent books.Another interesting touch that Michele added was that the dragons shifted not into one human, as is commonplace in shapeshi ...more
