Not my typical read for sure but I was immediately hooked and would have read in one sitting if it weren’t for things like sleep and work 🙃 This was long, almost 500 pages, but it didn’t feel like it dragged. I would definitely read other work from this author. This is one you may want to check for trigger warnings. I almost didn’t read it because of the animal cruelty warning (hard limit for me) but I dove in anyway and don’t regret it!
