Theirs to keep is a story about being brave and starting over. It’s about learning to trust when what you’ve known has been lies and gaslighting. Vivian had absolutely no reason to trust any of these men, but I love how they just decided that she was theirs to protect. I loved the growth these characters showed throughout the story. I love how each man has his own thing. A poetry love. A ball of anxiety. A distrust of women. Vivian was able to mend all three.

This quadruple fought so hard for each other and I loved how they stood up to her ex.

If you love:
Why choose
Protectors
Hockey
Past trauma
Found family
A journey to finding love and acceptance

Then this story is one you should definitely give a chance! As my first book by this author I was pleasantly surprised and very much devoured this story in one sitting!

This is NOT your typical why choose hockey romance. Yes, there are 3 hockey players all in a relationship with 1 woman (the new team psychologist) & yes, there are open-door sex scenes... but the focus on mental health is a predominant theme. & I can appreciate that. There are also some incredibly beautiful moments among the quartet, particularly in the last quarter of the book.
That being said, I do feel like the guys are a bit 2 dimensional and described primarily in connection with their mental health issues. And the ethical problem of a psychologist getting romantically involved with her patients is too casually dismissed... but this is fiction & romance so not exactly unexpected.
I'd give 3.5 stars but since GR doesn't provide for that, I round up in fairness to any one who actually writes & publishes a book (something I've not yet accomplished).

'I came to Seattle for redemption. I didn't expect it to come with three sets of very capable hands, a found family I never knew I needed, and the terrifying possibility that happily ever after might not look anything like I imagined.'

What a FANtastic read! Luv'd absolutely everything about this story.

The characters drove the storyline and they were so very appealing and complex and complicated and perfectly steamy together. Plot was intriguing and intense and exciting and well paced. World building was excellent and solidly drawn. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend.

I like a good why choose book. Add hockey even better. My biggest thing was there wasn't really a structure. It felt like her ex kept popping up so randomly and just so out of context. It was all so rushed. I would have like a little more character building. It just jumped so quickly. I like the concept that they all made each want to better for each other but at same it seemed the men leaned on Vivian so much. I also wish there was more Milo content. We barely got any of his point of view. Even though this was a novella I felt like this could have turned into a novel easily with a little more structure. The idea of the book was great though.

This story had me all caught up in Vivian and her men right from the beginning. She moved toa new city to get over her gaslighting ex and start anew. Vivian only wanted to focus on her work, but when she connects with three men who has problems of their own, it sets the stage for a unique connection that has them gravitating towards each other and their journey begins only for her ex to follow and start up trouble again. I loved this quadruple as they came together to overcome their challenges.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story and was captivated by Vivian’s journey from the start. Her move to a new city to escape her manipulating ex and focus on work provided a great foundation for her unique connection with three men Theo, Declan and Milo. Watching the four of them navigate their personal challenges and unite against her ex’s interference was wonderful. This is an exceptionally well-written book with a compelling storyline, memorable characters, and a very satisfying happy ending. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Sweet with a little spice

I loved this story. It was sweet and had good emotional depth and offered a little spice midpoint. The guys are all keepers, well written with distinct personalities and struggles. Theo is a typical goalie in the best way-goofy, sweet, a little crazy but so important. A complex enforcer and and the typical captain with control issues was a perfect mix. The MFC was okay. For me, her character took a back seat to the MMC's. There was growth but her character was dry.
The book was a quick read and a nice break from my typical dark reads.

★ ”These ridiculous men had somehow decided that…” ★

“…my wellbeing was a group project.” Leaving her old job and nasty ex behind plants Vivian into a whole different nest of challenges while she treats the three hockey players identified as priority for the newly formed Seattle Sirens team. Her insight is exactly what they needed, and her company was bonus. But when her past catches up to her, it doesn’t take much to convince them that she needs them right back as well. Milo’s extreme research and background steals my heart in this story! Sweet and steamy sport romance!

90% of this book is "telling" vs "showing", hence the plot moving at lightspeed. We're told within paragraphs at the start of each chapter how exactly things have been progressing or changing in the dynamic. We don't get very much of scenarios playing out to show character development, aside from some very blatant 'we're a family' moments where they talk about how different things are for them vs their past selves.

Also, none of the boyfriends are boyfriends.

2 stars because some satisfaction at the swift downfall of the ex, plus Milo's research.

Wow.

What a positively sweet love story. I love a good RH. I love a good sports story. This one has both.

Love comes in various shapes and forms. Heartbreak comes the same. When four people who have been hurt, lonely, and abused come together, they're either going to come together or bust.

These four people choose everyday to love each other. If you like a strong love that builds stronger, despite the flaws they carry, this one's for you.

This is my second book by the author and I enjoyed this one so much more than the first. While there is a lot of drama, it does not have to do with them all working for the same team. That was refreshing. Also, it was more story than steam. I was beginning to wonder if I had accidently grabbed a closed door book. Then the steam hit. Well written with wonderful characters.

Choose me

These four people found every way to come together. They fought every step of the way to find a peace. Theo, Declan, and Milo are hockey players that are forced into therapy by their coach, and Vivian is there therapist.
I loved this book. I loved the characters, I loved the story, I loved the realness of the book.

cute but left me wanting more

Short and cute but it seemed rushed and bounced around the timeline where I had to keep looking if I missed something. Some really good moments though.
