کتاب به نسبت خوبی هست ولی میشد یک ساده تر درباره زبان شناسی و مراحل این کار توضیح داد (البته بخاطر عدم اطلاع از این دانش میگم وگرنه شاید از این ساده تر نمیشد ) واگر مترجم بعضی اصطلاحات رو توضیح میداد به شکل پانویس یا توضیح در آخر کتاب بهتر بود ولی چیزی که بیشتر تو ذوق میزد طرح ها و نقاشی های بود که استفاده شده و بجای کمک به درک بهتر مطلب یه جوری حواس پرت کن و بی ربط بود مخصوصا نوع جاگذاری اونها و اندازه تصاویر ، گفتم شاید کار ناشر باشه که اومده کتاب رو حجیم کنه و از ممیزی در بره با توجه به سانسور کردن بعضی از تصاویر ولی به نظر طرحهایی اصلی کتاب هم همین ها هستندو تکرار بعضی از جملات هم از جمله اشکالات کتاب بود

This little book is exactly what it seems: a short, easy-read introduction to the field of linguistics. In the unlikely event you want a quick overview of linguistics, it's a good choice. It even has cartoons.
