This is the story of PJ and the way his life changes after the death of his dad. This is from his view and what he went through. What him and his family went through. Pj and his family will capture your heart from the beginning and not let you go. These are real characters that you can relate to and want to cheer on and see have happiness.

PJ grows alot from the start of the book. He is lost and really trying to see where he belongs. He begins in Boston and has the eyes of a kid. He is wide eyed

I read this fabulous book over a year ago and it has stayed with me ever since. It is a book that begs a series, along the lines of Anne of Green Gables in it's clearly defined and loveable protagonist and the social and political environment in which it is told. This is a MUST READ!

I really enjoyed this book … I hear there is going to be a sequel! It was such a pleasant read with a great Canadian history story told by a young boy - a fun viewpoint.
