_________ pre read I need this book like.. yesterday 🧎🏻♀️🧎🏻♀️
Since the day I picked up Sinful King and was introduced to Carson St. James I couldn’t wait to have his story in my hands and Natalie Kane absolutely saved the best for last.
From Carson’s introduction he was a hardened man with the exception of his brothers Julian, Rome and Mateo and of course their wives but outside of his circle well that was a different story and this man has a good reason. Seven years ago Carson lost the love of his life Rina and this changed him. Everyday he carried the grief of her loss that was until when Violet’s (Savage King) sister Rose changed it all. If you have read Savage King you will know that Violet came to Vegas to search for her missing sister and with the help of Mateo and the others they rescued her from the man who Carson believe unalived his wife. But Rose actually disclosed that she met Rina and she in fact is alive and she escaped the same place where she was.
Just like that the hole that has been a constant in Carson’s heart is starting to fill once again. His emotions went absolutely haywire from joy that she is still alive but also a sadness that he lost seven years with her and while you can’t repeat the past he will make up for the time lost. Carson had no time to waste and he instantly took off to find his wife but he also had a little surprise when he found out that Rina had a seven year old son. Yes the day Rina was taken seven years ago she only found out she was pregnant and was on her way to tell Carson the happy news. Carson adapted to being a father so quickly, like Rina there was nothing he wouldn’t do for his son and he would ensure he was loved, cherished and protected. I loved the father/son moments😭.
Even though years have passed it was quite clear there was no one else in existence for Carson and Rina. The spark never faded and I loved that the pair took some time to reconnect, because yes despite them still being in love, they needed to catch up on the years they missed and I loved that the author explored this.
Rina is hesitant to return to Vegas as she doesn’t want to uproot their son Charlie’s life in Portland and leave the one woman who has supported them and acted as a mother figure for Rina through the years, Mildred. But we do return to Vegas because the threat that Rina and Carson both faced previously is still present. Mildred does come along with them also and I was sobbing over this because we all need a Mildred🥺
The reunion between Rina, Julian, Rome and Mateo was so sweet. She classified these men as brothers and she believed all this time like Carson that they were gone. She loved that each and every one of them found happiness and she fit right in which each of the wives. Honestly the found family aspect in this series has to be my favourite part of it.
Overall I absolutely loved this series from start to finish and I am so sad to be saying goodbye, but the author ended the series in the most perfect way. Saying this there is definitely a new series on the horizon and we may possibly get some overlap.
Thank you so much to the author who provided this e-arc for my honest thoughts 💭
What to expect: *Mafia romance *FMC on the run *Secret baby
Safety: No OW drama, a lot of OM drama in the form of the antagonist. Several on page, graphic scenes of torture and abuse. No third act breakup.
Review: Carson is everything that we have been waiting on since the beginning of book one!!
No spoilers but this book is my favorite of the four. Rina and Carson were ripped apart when they were just beginning their relationship, years later they find their way back to each other. Neither one had moved on from their one true love, and now that they are reunited there is nothing, or no one, that can keep them from each other.
This book does have a lot of on page graphic violence and abuse, read the trigger warnings if this type of action upsets you. If you are new to this author and series, start with book one, you won’t be disappointed!!
Thank you to the author for the opportunity to read and review this title!
Natalie Kane ended this series the same way it started: EPICALLY! And it has officially become one of my all-time favourite mafia series!
Carson is deadly, dangerous, and has had nothing left to live for since the death of his wife, Rina. But seven years later, he discovers that Rina is alive, and NOTHING is going to keep him from getting her back! And that's not all… they have a son!
Family-man Carson? PURE MAGIC! And Carson and Rina together? ABSOLUTE PERFECTION! 😍
This book has all the spice, danger, and intensity we've come to know and love from the Kings of Vegas, delivering the perfect ending to a series I've loved every minute of!
I'm sad to say goodbye to these Kings, but SO excited that we have a whole new series coming our way soon! 🔥
The last book in this series, and Natalie (aka Kristen) brought all the emotions into it.
Rina, seven years prior she received news, one that was so exciting she couldn't wait to share it with her husband. But, everything came to a screeching halt when she was kidnapped. She was told lies and with a broken heart she did the only thing she could. Run. Hide. And keep her and her unborn child safe.
Now, years later, she works as a nurse in a medical centre in Portland, raising her son and living with the memories of her late husband.
A man she still loves deeply to this day. A man who she can't forget. And said man who is standing in front of her, breathing, tattooed and ready to ruin anyone who thinks of taking his family from him ever again.
Carson...I have waited patiently for this man's book, and oh Natalie delivered!
Carson, is one of four Kings of Vegas. He has built and empire, and he alongside his brothers rule their city and businesses with an iron fist. He doesn't trust those who aren't in his circle.
And love. He had it. He lost it. And he has spent seven years in darkness, with Rina's memories. Nothing can calm his rage. Until one day and one statement changes everything. There is a spark of hope, something he hasn't felt in years, and when everything becomes reality, he will fight for his second chance.
Holy heck, this book was amazing. I devoured it in less than 8 hours. The love between Rina & Carson was beautiful, their reunion was emotional. Their chemistry was sooo hot, the spice was 🤌🏻🥵 and the suspense! Gah it had me on edge throughout the book waiting to see when everything hits, and when it did. I was in tears!
Las Vegas had good memories, but it was also overshadowed by the bad ones and Rina's hesitancy to return was so understandable.
...the love between father & son 🫶🏻
Mildred 🩷
And Rome, Julian & Mateo...the reunion between these guys and Rina was absolutely beautiful ♥️
𝑺𝒕𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒂 𝑯𝒖𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝑎𝑠 𝑅𝑖𝑛𝑎, this narrator...holy heck you guys! Rina's fears, her strength and love was narrated beautiful. Stella, really brought this character to life. Her voice was smooth, with a softness in it.
𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒏𝒐𝒓 𝑪𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒔 𝑎𝑠 𝐶𝑎𝑟𝑠𝑜𝑛...damn! He embodied Carson's character to utter perfection. From his possessive & protect nature to his utter rage, and then his love...amazing! His voice was commanding, deep a little rough with some harshness in it when needed.
Carson is the fourth brother and the fourth "King of Vegas." Alongside Rome, Julian, and Mateo, they rule Vegas with an iron grip, controlling casinos, a pleasure house, a fight club, and operations involving money laundering and smuggling. He loved only one woman: Rina. She was murdered, and he was sent to federal prison for her death. He spent five years behind bars. Upon his release, he swore he would hunt down and destroy everyone who put him in that situation—and left him with a hole where his heart used to be.
Years pass, and the quest for vengeance continues. The mastermind behind the plot that landed Carson in prison is still at large. Damian changes his face as easily as changing clothes. But that only delays the reckoning. Carson’s three brothers-in-arms are happily married; Rome is even the father of a beautiful baby girl. Carson protects his brothers and their wives as if they were his own family. Then, a new member of this "family" reignites a glimmer of hope: Rina didn't die; she had managed to escape captivity. Carson and his friends track her down in Portland, where she is living a simple life as an ER nurse in a suburban home... Now, Carson has even more reason to hunt down Damian and make him pay for all the lies—and for the time Carson lost with his wife
Rina can hardly believe it when Carson shows up at her door. After the initial shock comes a difficult choice: having the man she loves back, knowing his life is steeped in violence—something she doesn't want for her son. However, danger is closer than she imagined, and Carson and his friends can provide the protection she needs to keep her father away from them. But with the love they still feel for each other burning so strong, how can they escape the clutches of fate, even amidst the chaos? -----
Brotherhood, intense violence, steamy scenes, sweet moments, and a series finale worthy of a standing ovation. Oh! And the bonus epilogue made it all even more moving. 5 stars ARC provided by the author in exchange of an honest review
I just finished Vicious King, book four in the Kings of Vegas series by Natalie Kane, and wow… Carson’s book was everything I hoped it would be. I’ve been counting down the days for his story, and it delivered on every single level.
I did an immersive read, e-book + audiobook and Connor Crais and Stella Hunter absolutely knocked it out of the park. When I found out they were narrating this one, I genuinely squealed. They’re two of my all-time favorites, and they brought Carson and Rina to life with so much emotion, grit, and chemistry.
I was really curious how Natalie was going to handle Rina’s disappearance, and she unfolded that storyline beautifully. The tension, the longing, the history between them, it all still crackled even after their time apart. And getting to see the characters from the first three books again? Loved it. They played meaningful roles without ever overshadowing Carson and Rina’s journey, and it made the world feel even richer.
While this isn’t the spiciest book in the series, the moments we do get are hot, intense, and absolutely perfect for two people who haven’t seen each other in a long time but never stopped wanting each other. If anything, I would’ve loved just a touch more high-stakes tension, but the emotional beats and the way the story unfolded still hit so well.
Rina is such a strong FMC, grounded, fierce, and true to herself even after everything she’s been through. I adored her. And Carson? He was worth every bit of anticipation.
I’ve loved this entire series, and Vicious King just solidified that even more. I’m already counting down to what Natalie has planned for us in 2027.
ALC/ ARC review How is this series over?! I have been counting down til this book hit and it did not disappoint. The narrators were phenomenal and i thought they did an amazing job of bringing these characters to life!
Since we already had such a backstory and knew that Carson was obsessed with his wife, it was so easy to slip into this story. This man sets the absolute standard! So down bad, so obsessed and would literally do anything for his family.. swoon!!
Rina was so strong after all that she had been through and the fact that these two had so many years without each other it was heartbreaking!
I was on edge wanting to know how the plot behind all of this series was going to come to an end and it was delivered. How she managed to intertwine the new series while making it all feel seamless was perfect.
I didnt know who to trust and couldn't put this book down until I knew.
A bingeable series that is a top mafia read for me. Highly recommend this whole series, what a way to end!!
- Assassin MMC - Touch Them & D*e - Found Family - Mafia Romance - Woman on the Run - Secret Baby
5⭐️ 3🌶
Bonus Points go towards the found family they have formed amongst the brothers. From their family dinners on Sundays to the way they show up for each other it was all so beautiful. The banter between the boys and girlhood between all the women was so much fun to read.
Thankyou to Natalie Kane for the opportunity to read this one early 🫶🏻
I have been waiting for this one since the first book and it was everything I wanted! I thought my heart was going to beat out of my chest waiting for Carson to see Rina! I loved that their connection was so natural even though they had been apart for so long.
The way Charlie was instantly comfortable with Carson made my heart so happy. Carson switched into dad mode so effortlessly! Any time they were all three together I had the biggest smile on my face.
I love that Rina was still concerned about spending so much money. And that she fought against having no control over her life changing so fast. And that she lost it when she wasn't told about something happening at Charlie's school.
This is the least spicy book of the series, but when we got it, it was sweet and hot and so good! Carson is just utterly swoony with Rina and had me in a puddle with the way he loves her!
Rina's reunion with the brothers had me in tears! Especially with Rome (iykyk) 🥹 And of course the girls welcomed her with enthusiastic open arms! This found family is one of the best I've read!
This book was the perfect ending to one of my all time favorite series! If you read bonus epilogues, this one was so freaking good just like all the others for this series.
Also, we get a little insight into the next series in the book, plus a little sneak peak at the end, and it has me absolutely giddy!!
Ok I read this in one sitting as I have with this whole series!!!! I just can’t put them down!! I’m obsessed with Natalie’s writing and the way she just keeps you so hooked and this final instalment was no different!
We got to experience Carson’s story through the previous books so to get to his book and have his wife ALIVE! Ugh the way he was mourning her for 7 years 😭😭😭
Rina is such a gorgeous fmc, the way she has endured so much and still managed to continue on and make a life for herself and their son Charlie!
The way Carson would burn down the world for his wife and son 🔥🔥 ugh I love that man so much!
-Assassin MMC -Woman on the Run -Secret Child -Mafia Romance -Found Family -Touch her and D!e
This series has been the most binge worthy series I’ve read and I’m obsessed with these Mafia men! The found family is incredible, the way the wives all take each other in and become best friends, the way the men will do anything for their women! I can’t wait to see what comes of the next series!
Thank you Natalie for the chance to read this early copy!

Thank you Natalie Kane for an arc of Vicious King in exchange for an honest review.
This series hits every single time! I’m so down bad for every book in the Kings of Vegas!
I loved both MCs. Rina was an incredible single mother who did anything and everything for her son. And Carson was relentless in his protection of his wife and child.
And these narrators!!! Connor Crais and Stella Hunter absolutely CRUSH it. Obsessed is an understatement.
“Still a fucking brat, I see.”
Okay next I really need Diego and Rose. Please!
🖤 mafia romance 🏃♀️ fmc on the run 🔪 assassin mmc 🍼 secret baby 🩸 touch her and die ❤️🩹 found family ♾️ interconnected standalone
SOOOO freaking good. Finished it in less than 24 hours. We got sneak peaks of Carson in past books, but seeing him in this book is so different and amazing. 10/10 would recommend the entire series 😍
The last installment of the Kings of Vegas series has officially landed in my inbox, and I was lucky enough to read AND listen to it early. When I tell you that every single book in this series has been a five-star banger, I mean it. And Vicious King is absolutely no exception.
Let’s just start with the fact that we all loved Violet in Savage King, right? Well, her sister Rose is the one who blows everything out of the water in this book.
SPOILERS AHEAD, BUT THIS HAPPENS IN CHAPTER ONE!
Rose asks Carson what his wife, who supposedly perished, was named, and Rose drops a bombshell on him: SHE’S ALIVE.
Yes, you read that correctly.
When everyone puts their heads together and runs facial recognition, guess what they find? HER. And where does Carson go? If you guessed straight to her, you would be absolutely correct. Because there is not one single reason this man needs to spend another seven years alone.
Meanwhile, Rina finally decides she’s going to give the guy who has been asking her out every single week a chance. She goes on a date, and she’s honest with him that it just isn’t going to work out. And who steps out of the shadows when she gets home?
If you guessed CARSON, YOU ARE CORRECT.
Carson has always been so calm, cool, and collected in the other books, but Carson in HIS book? Oh. My. Lord.
One of the biggest things I love about all these men is how honest they are when they say they aren’t good men. They might be good men to their women, but they know exactly who they are and what they’re capable of. And Carson? He absolutely delivers.
Of course, you find out that Rina has a child. And who does that child look like? If you guessed Carson, YOU ARE CORRECT AGAIN.
When they find Rina, Carson learns he has a son, and he refuses to let anyone tell him the boy’s name because he wants Rina to be the one to tell him. And honestly? That is such a beautiful detail.
Then he tells her what he’s been doing all these years, and she starts crying because she had their son believing Carson and everyone else were dead. She never knew he was out there living without her, just as he never knew what had happened to her.
There is definitely some angst in this book, but what really got me was watching these two come back together after all those years and connect in the same way they did before. It is a testament to how deeply they were always connected and why they truly are soulmates.
Carson’s anger, his protectiveness over the other men’s women, and the way he never wanted anyone else to experience the kind of loss he did all make so much sense when you understand what he has been carrying. Getting Rina back literally tilts his entire world on its axis, and watching him navigate that? I LOVED IT.
And now Rina has to adjust to the fact that she and Carson are an incredibly wealthy couple who can afford so many amazing things. But even after all these years, Carson still listens to the little things. He pays attention. He remembers. He knows what matters to her, and that is one of my favorite things about him.
I’m just going to tell you that this book was every bit as amazing as I thought it would be. Natalie Kane absolutely delivered, and I loved getting to see Carson finally have his story.
Now, let’s talk about the audiobook because I genuinely believe these books are made to be listened to. They read beautifully, but if you have the ability to listen to audiobooks, PLEASE give these a try. They are worth every single penny.
I already love Kristen Proby, so it probably goes without saying that I was going to love Natalie Kane, too. And this series has absolutely solidified that for me.
Vicious King was an absolute five-star read, and I could not have asked for a better way to close out the Kings of Vegas series.
I have been waiting for Carson St. James to get his happy ending ever since meeting him in Sinful King, and Natalie Kane absolutely delivered with this one! My heart was not prepared for the emotional roller coaster, the twists, and the beautiful way this series came full circle. I went in with high expectations, and somehow, this book managed to give me even more than I hoped for!
Carson has always been the guarded, intimidating one of the St. James brothers, with Julian, Rome, Mateo, and their wives being the few people he truly lets into his world. Losing Rina seven years ago changed him completely, and the grief he carried was heartbreaking. So imagine the emotional whiplash when Rose, Violet’s sister from Savage King, reveals that Rina might still be alive! I was NOT ready for everything that followed. 😭
Carson wastes absolutely no time going after the woman he has never stopped loving, only to discover that he has a seven-year-old son, Charlie! The fatherhood moments had me melting. This man went from grieving the family he thought he had lost forever to doing everything in his power to give his little boy the love, security, and protection he deserves. Carson was already swoon-worthy, but seeing him as a dad took him to another level!
And Rina? What a strong woman! After everything she survived, she still had to navigate the overwhelming reality of being reunited with the man she loved after so many lost years. I appreciated that Natalie Kane allowed them the space to find their way back to each other rather than pretending nothing had changed. Their love was still there, but they also needed to rebuild the life they had been robbed of. Their second chance was emotional, beautiful, and so worth the wait!
The suspense surrounding the larger storyline kept me glued to the pages, constantly questioning who could be trusted and how everything would finally unravel. I was desperate to see the loose ends tied together, and the way Natalie wrapped up this series while seamlessly opening the door to what comes next was so well done. Also, the audiobook narrators deserve a special mention because they brought so much emotion and personality to these characters!
But my absolute favorite part of this entire series will always be the FOUND FAMILY! The bond between Carson, Julian, Rome, and Mateo is everything. Their loyalty, Sunday family dinners, hilarious banter, and unwavering support make these books feel so much bigger than just the romances. And the friendships between all the women? I loved every second of their girlhood moments!
I am genuinely sad to say goodbye to these characters, but what a way to end their journey! ❤️ Natalie Kane gave Carson and Rina the ending they deserved, delivered the suspense I was craving, and left me excited about the possibility of seeing familiar faces again in the next series.
If you love mafia romance, obsessive heroes, second-chance love, emotional reunions, family bonds, and twists that keep you guessing, this entire series deserves a place on your reading list!
Carson St. James, you were worth the wait! And Natalie Kane, thank you for making this journey so unforgettable. 🖤📚
Vicious King by Natalie Kane, brought to life through an exceptional, emotionally charged duet narration by Stella Hunter and Connor Crais, is the gripping, high-stakes final installment in the Kings of Vegas dark mafia romance series that brilliantly delivers a long-awaited second-chance story, packed with action, suspense, and scorching chemistry.
The story follows Carson St. James, a hardened, vengeful assassin who has spent the last seven years consumed by grief after his world was brutally upended and his beloved wife, Rina, was stolen and seemingly murdered. Having spent five years in prison, Carson emerged as the most dangerous man alive, killing without hesitation while hunting for the nemesis who destroyed his life. Rina, meanwhile, has spent those same seven long years on the run, hiding in Portland after escaping the clutches of a madman. Though she has built a quiet life with a job she loves and a cherished maternal figure named Mildred, she has never been able to move on from Carson, convinced she lost the only man she would ever want.
Everything changes when a shocking revelation reveals that Rina is not dead after all, triggering a relentless hunt and an emotional reunion that leaves both of them shaken to their core. But the surprises do not end there: Carson discovers that Rina has a seven-year-old son, having been pregnant when she was abducted years prior. Watching Carson instantly adapt to fatherhood—pouring fierce protection, love, and devotion into his son alongside tender, heartwarming father-son moments—adds incredible depth to his hardened character. Though the spark between Carson and Rina never faded, the novel takes time to let them realistically reconnect, heal from the years they missed, and navigate Rina's understandable hesitation to uproot her son and Mildred from Portland.
As they return to Las Vegas, the lingering threat from their past resurfaces, bringing back the tight-knit brotherhood of Julian, Rome, and Mateo along with their remarkable wives. The heartwarming, powerful found-family dynamic shines brightly as Rina reunites with the men she once thought were lost and instantly fits right back into the fold.
Elevated by Stella Hunter and Connor Crais’s next-level narration—which infuses every scene, vulnerability, and plot twist with profound depth and emotion—Vicious King is an un-put-downable romantic suspense thriller. Blending dark mafia elements, spicy romance, high-octane action, and a deeply satisfying conclusion to a beloved series, it is a masterclass in emotional storytelling that will leave readers captivated from the very first page.
Disclaimer: I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. All words and opinions are my own; no AI was used in writing this review.
Ahh, Carson! I have been waiting for his book in this series, and it did not disappoint. He thought his wife had been murdered seven years ago, and it completely changed how he lived his life. Now, he discovers that Rina is very much alive and has been quietly living her life as a nurse, believing that he and all of the Vegas Kings were killed by their enemy. In true Carson fashion, he does a little stalking and finds her very much alive… and with his son! I absolutely was not prepared for Carson, Rina, and Charlie’s story, and I was definitely not ready for this series to be over.
Carson is still the morally gray man you do NOT want to mess with. Whether he’s protecting his family or working as an assassin, he has no problem getting his hands dirty. But seeing this softer side of him made saying goodbye to this series a little easier on my soul. Carson would do absolutely anything for his family, and boy, oh boy, my heart was not ready to see him as a dad to six-year-old Charlie. Swim lessons, playdates, and murder on the side? Sure thing, Carson!
Rina was the ultimate mama bear, and it was so obvious that these two were perfect for each other. I loved watching them navigate this new life together and seeing just how protective Carson was over his family. Getting to see this side of him made me love him even more!
If you’re looking for spice, you’re in the right place! As with all of Natalie Kane’s books, these two brought the heat. And the other Vegas Kings? We get to see everyone together with their wives, and I loved everyone’s reactions to seeing Rina again. Morally gray men who have a weakness for their women will always be green flags for me.
Thank you, Natalie Kane, for this immersive read! The audio was phenomenal, as always, with perfect casting for Carson and Rina. Narrated in duet by Stella Hunter and Connor Crais, two of my absolute favorite narrators, this audiobook was everything! I was here for every growl and possessive moment from Carson, along with all of Rina’s sass and protectiveness. These two were definitely my favorite couple!
This series has been such a wild ride, and it’s one I will always recommend! The books can be read as standalones, but do yourself a favor and start with book one.
CARSON!!! 😭❤️ The man I have been waiting for since BOOK ONE!
The grumpy, angry, broken, terrifying “monster” that everyone feared, but who loved his family fiercely. I knew from the very beginning that underneath all that darkness was a man who just needed his someone. His person. His sunshine. 🥹❤️
With every book, we got little glimpses into Carson’s story, and I became more and more desperate for his HEA. But there was one thing I couldn’t wrap my head around. How could anyone possibly replace the woman he loved? How could anyone ever be his sunshine again?
WELL, HOLY MOLY, WHAT A RIDE!!! 🤯❤️
🚨 SPOILERS AHEAD 🚨
SHE WAS ALIVE THE ENTIRE TIME!!!! 😭😭😭
CARSON DIDN’T NEED TO FIND SOMEONE NEW BECAUSE HIS PERSON WAS STILL OUT THERE!!! I cannot even explain how happy that made my heart!
And RINA!!! Oh, I adored her! Fierce, sassy, stubborn, absolutely adorable, and exactly the woman Carson needed. Their love was beautiful, passionate, messy, and everything I had hoped it would be. The way this terrifying man loved his woman?! MY HEART. 🥹
And can we talk about the SPICE?! 🥵🔥 Because those scenes were SPICINGGGG!!! The chemistry, the tension, the emotion, the possessiveness. GOOD LORD!!! Natalie Kane absolutely DELIVERED!
Everything about this book was worth the wait. The heartbreak, the twists, the love, the heat, and all those little moments in between. Carson’s story had some BIG expectations to live up to, and it gave me everything I wanted and more!
I’m genuinely so sad to say goodbye to this family. There’s something bittersweet about finishing a series you’ve become so attached to. BUT THAT SETUP FOR THE NEXT FAMILY?! 👀😍 I’m already smiling from ear to ear, and the anticipation is KILLING ME!!!
What a way to end a series. Carson, you beautiful, grumpy, terrifying man. You were worth every second of the wait! ❤️🔥
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
I got the ALC/ARC from Natalie Kane and this is my second ALC from her and once again didnt disappoint.

Tropes Found family Mafia Second chance Hes an assassin He has a pierced 🍆 touch them & ☠️ Shes in hiding Shes a nurse She is fierce and a great mother Secret kid
MMC Carson. FMC Rina (he calls her Ri)
Child Charlie
This was narratored in Duet by Connor Crais and Stella Hunter. As always these 2 voice actors never disappoint and have ranges to figure out the difference in characters. They make the story come to life 😍
This can be read as a standalone but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the rest of the series.
Carson is the 4th mafia king in Kings Of Vegas.
Rina and Carson were split up and each thought they were dead, but when someone tells Carson 7yrs later that Rina is alive. He goes from a shell of a man to a beacon of light because he never got over Rina is still alive he goes to see himself and not only that she has a kid and looks just like him. Once he figures out a way to tell Rina hey im not dead and holy crap I have a kid, we then see Rina go through all the emotions because she has never loved another and trying to figure out a life of single mom/dealing with life to living super well off with her Mafia king husband. This story goes through her figuring that out along with making sure her and Carson are still compatible (spoiler alert they are 😉) on top of making sure that the human trafficking and the guy that took her doesnt do it again. Carson is learning also to be a dad and doing a great job at it and making sure both are safe and that he now can have a family of his own and be whole again. Its awesome to see them both heal and love eachother again.
It was a great book and i got to see a bit of a spoiler for the authors next book.
Pssttt you meet the next FMC be on the look out.
Warning ⚠️ Human trafficking, brutal torture to bad men and some to FMC. Remember Mafia is not sushine and rainbows lol.
I was SO excited for Vicious King, especially knowing it was the final book in the Kings of Vegas series. It also made me sad, of course. And when I found out Connor Crais and Stella Hunter were narrating Carson and Rina’s story, that was just the cherry on top!
Natalie Kane’s writing is absolutely amazing! This entire series kept me on my toes, but Vicious King was on another level! The twists, the surprises, the emotions! I loved every minute of it!
Carson and Rina’s story shocked me the most, and I’m so glad Natalie saved it for last. There were moments that genuinely made me cry, and I couldn’t have asked for a better way to finish the series.
I also loved hearing the women together and how their friendships developed.
And Connor Crais and Stella Hunter?! MY GOD! 🔥 They were absolutely perfect as Carson and Rina! Their narration was perfection! So well done!
Without giving anything away, I loved how Natalie ended this book. I’m really hoping there’s more to come because I’m not ready to say goodbye to these characters just yet! ❤️
Now, can we talk about the Kings of Vegas series as a whole?!
I’ve given every single book five stars, and I can honestly say this has become my favourite series, PERIOD! Not just my favourite mafia series, but my favourite series of any genre!
I also have to give Natalie credit for the narrator choices throughout the entire series. The casting was perfect! The voices were exactly how I imagined these characters would sound, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for better narrators.
Saying goodbye to our Kings actually made me emotional. 😭 I know Natalie has another series coming, and I’m really hoping we’ll hear about them again here and there because I’m definitely not ready to say goodbye!
Vicious King is BY FAR my favourite, and like I said above… if I could give it 6 stars, I absolutely would! ❤️
Thank you, Natalie Kane, for the ALC! All thoughts and opinions are my own.
“You’re the beginning and the end. There is no one else for me, Rina.”
I’m jealous of everyone that starts now this series I wish I could read it for the first time. I’ve been waiting for Carson’s book for so long and always wandering who the FMC was is, the waiting its over and it’s even better then I expected. Carson & Rina took for me top spot on for me followed very close by Rome & Lulu and Matteo & Violet. The audio was so good, the narrator’s brought the characters to live perfectly and I loved every second of it. This book took me on a rollercoaster of emotions.
“My wife, my woman, my person, my best friend. You’re everything.”
I loved Carson from book 1 and fall even harder in this one, he is protective, loyal and obsessed with his wife and child and will stop at nothing to for them. Seeing him soft for her melt my heart. Those two have gone thru so much but they found their way back to each other and got their happy ending.
“In case you missed it, you’re my wife. Everything I have is yours, down to the shoes on my feet and the heart in my chest. Whatever you want from now until your last breath is yours.”
Rina its a strong FMC, after escaping hell she had to run to raise her son alone thinking that her husband and his brothers are dead. I loved her so much and after all shes been through she continues to be strong and never give up.
The chemistry between this two pure perfection. They where both sweet and hot 🥵.
I loved seeing the gang finally complete, the found family in this series it’s perfect.

Thank you Natalie Kane for the opportunity to read and listen to this amazing story.
Can I rate this more than 5 stars?? I really need to rate this a million stars. This book is one of my favorites that I have read and I was in love with these characters from the very beginning. Natalie Kane has written some great stories, but I think this may be the best one. This second chance romance with a secret child, a touch of suspense and a found family you will adore is one that you need to read.
Rina and Carson are meant to be, and I swear you could feel their love through the words and pages of this story. The way that these two find each other after so long and still have the connection and love that was there from the start. Carson has so many skeletons and he shows them all to Rina and I love the trust that he had in her. Rina is a mother that wants to keep her child safe at a cost and the love of her life that came back into her life. These two could not be more perfect for each other and you know that their story is one that will stick with you long after you finish the book.
Connor Crais and Stella Hunter narrate this, and I was so addicted to their voices while listening. I couldn't stop and when I had to because life got in the way, I couldn't wait to get back to it. I loved the way that Connor had that gravelly voice that was perfect for Carson. I couldn't believe the way that Connor captured the character so well. Stella did her best work with this one. She has the voice that you can hear the strength in it with everything that she does. I loved her for Rina and the way that she became the character in this one.
You don't want to miss this book or the previous ones. This will be one of my favorite series and of course the last one is my favorite of the series.
Vicious King is the last book in the Kings of Sin series and it did not disappoint! I laughed (especially after he went to find his woman), kicked my feet, and squealed!
Carson’s wife was ruled dead seven years ago, which had him spiral from a mafia boss to a hardened assassin on the side. Rina is the love of his life, so when he found out that she was alive and living in hiding, he went to get his woman. Rina was told that Carson and his brothers were dead by Dameon, the villain that kidnapped her. However, she escaped with the help of Rose, a character we met in book 3, and hid with her and Carson’s son, Charlie. Carson was not playing when it came to Rina and Charlie. He didn’t just show up, but he did make sure that everyone knew who Rina belonged to. Rina was a mess when she found out that Carson was alive, and she made sure that Charlie knew who his father was. Charlie and Carson were pretty cute together, and he understood why Rina didn’t tell him she was pregnant (it was a timeline thing). He gave her whatever she wanted, including making sure that Mildred (a grandma figure to Charlie) went with them back to Vegas. Both were equally possessive of each other, and possessive over their son. I loved how the overarching plot of the series ended, and how Carson did what he did and why at the end. Rina is really strong and an empathetic character after what her father did and what happened 7 years ago. The romance was all-consuming and what I expected from Carson. I love the audiobook. Connor Crais and Stella Hunter were perfect as Carson and Rina. There was nothing I didn’t love from Vicious King, and the Kings of Sin series as a whole. I’m pretty sad it’s done.
Thank you to Kristen Proby/Natalie Kane for an ALC. All thoughts are my own.
I have been seriously obsessed with this series since the beginning. And Natalie just comes in and saves the best for last because HOLY SMOKES. Carson St. James surprised me in all the best ways. Add in Rina and sweet Charlie and you have literal perfection. Talk about an obsessive, possessive man and I am hereeeee for ittttt. My heart absolutely MELTED seeing him with Charlie. Oh my gahhh. Rina is a freaking strong woman - surviving everything she has been through. I love her so much.
Seeing Rina's reunion with all the other guys and meeting their wives... ugh, loved it. This one is action packed and I was hanging onto every word til the very end. I honestly don't want it to end. I seriously found myself getting EMOTIONAL with that epilogue because I love these people so much. There are honestly no words to tell you how much I loved this book. Consider me officially in a book hangover. It will forever live rent free in my head.
🎧 This is a duet narration by Connor Crais & Stella Hunter. Ya'll!!!! This is easily a top audiobook of the year for me. Connor ....that growl, man. SO HELP ME. And honestly, I love how easily I could distinguish between each of the men because of all the different voices Connor was able to use. Stella is a favorite of mine and when I tell you she brought Rina to life... all the emotions - the good, bad, and ugly, were portrayed SO perfectly. 10/10 and all the freaking stars.
Thank you so much to Natalie Kane and team for this e-ARC/ALC. All opinions are my own.

What a way to end this series. Easily five stars, and honestly, I’m still trying to find the words for how much I loved this book.
We got little glimpses of Carson in the previous books, but getting his full story and really getting to know Rina? Wow. Carson was the perfect mix of dominant, scary, and protective, with this caring, teddy bear side that I absolutely adored. He loved the people in his life so fiercely, and I felt every bit of it.
And Rina. After everything she went through, the way she kept going and handled what came her way made me love her even more. She was such a force.
What these two went through and the love between them gave me all the feels. I don’t want to say too much because this is a story you need to experience for yourself, but it made me feel loved. I know I wasn’t the one being loved, but somehow, the way they loved each other made me feel it too. That’s the part that’s staying with me.
And the audiobook? Chef’s kiss. Connor Crais and Stella Hunter were perfection for these characters. Both were so well cast, and their performances pulled me completely into the story. Add in duet narration, and it was an easy five headphones.
I loved this book. I loved these characters. And I couldn’t have asked for a better ending to this series.

📖 Carson + Rina are EVERYTHING!! This was the perfect ending to the Kings of Vegas series!! I love all of these characters so much. Rina, Charlie, and Mildred were precious, and I loved how they blended with the Kings found family. Rina and the guys seeing each other again was so cute, and obvi I love seeing another addition to the girl gang. Carson was such an adorable dad. I love a scary mofo who is a sweety for his fam. The overarching plot that has carried through the interconnected standalones was really fun and had a great pay off in this final book. And that epilogue 🥹💕✨
🎧 And the audio is fantastic!! Duet narration by Stella Hunter and Connor Crais who absolutely CRUSHHHH it as Rina and Carson. I cruised right through this, it was SUCH a good listen! They fit this these characters so well! Stella’s voice is just one of my favorites, she can do it all. She is so expressive while also performing so naturally. Connor sounded great as Carson! He dropped his pitch and leaned into a sharp tone to deliver Carson’s rougher dialogue and it worked so well!
The way I squealed when this hit my inbox was unreal. I devoured this book in one go. I have been lucky enough to ARC every book in this series but when I tell you I've been dying for Carson since Rome's book. There was just something about him that had me intrigued.
Carson was this dark, broken, broody, enigma who didn't care whether he lived or not. His world as he knew it ended 7 years earlier, until one question turned him inside out yet again.
Rina was an independent, feisty, protective mama bear because was left with no choice but to survive. She was led to believe one thing when that was not the case. One ruined date later, she gets the shock of a lifetime. And Charlie, I loved that little boy, he cracked me up but was so sweet too.
This book hit me in all the feels. I laughed, I cried, I was frustrated, cheering and dumbfounded on more than one occasion. Natalie kept me on my toes until the very end.
And let's just talk about that audio bc holy sh*t, it was hot. Connor and Stella brought their A game as Carson and Rina. Stella captured Rinas personality and you could really feel those emotions. And Connor, pfftt.. he was the perfect choice for Carson. He captured his growly, gritty voice and that softness he only showed for Rina and Charlie, you just melted.
10/10 recommend both audio and book, you can't go wrong with either.
