This book is the first by this author to be translated into the English language. I like a good Romantic Suspense every now and them and I really liked the cover. However, I was disappointed with what lay between the covers.

There are so many characters involved it's hard to keep track of who they are and how they relate to each other and to the story. Thankfully, the author included a list in the front of her book, but it became monotonous flipping back and forth on my kindle. It felt like an ex

Nemesis has so many characters that if it wasn't for the list at the beginning of the book I would have been lost. Lots of people with the letter M in their first name which can get very confusing. Stefannie Ross is very much into the littlest detail that can get the readers a little loss but the action of the story will keep the reader reading. This book has almost too many twist of the length of the book but it also keeps you wondering if what you know to be true.

Lent with KU, luckily I did not pay for it, wasted time anyway.

Nemesis, in short was a very good novel. With that said, it did have some faults, I'll explain them later, and I hope you'll read to the end. If you will take my advice, I'm sure you also will love this book.
I've never read any of Stefanie Ross' work. I'm sorry to say we've never crossed paths in the library. I imagine that is because she's a German author and I'm American. This book has convinced me to broaden my horizons.
The Characters are very well done. They are believable, they have depth

According to what I've read, this is the first English translation by German author Stefanie Ross. I've read a couple of English translated books before without good results. This story, however, was wonderfully translated and easy to read. It did have a significant number of interconnected characters. I didn't love having the cast of characters at the beginning, but the further I got into the story, the more I needed it.

The basic premise of the story involves a group of Navy SEALS working cove

I received as a win here at Goodreads. Lots of characters in the book, so the main reason got a 4 instead of the 5. At times hard to keep up with them all. The book is about a subject that is dear to all of use (child kidnappings). How easy it is for some sick ones to do this to kids.

Goodness to be only 4 years old, and out playing, and two men try to kidnap you. They offer to show you a gun, but when you say seen a better one, and they ask where. Father is a cop. Scares them just enough that yo

Illustrious Illusions
Nemisis was a wonderfully told story even if it was a little convoluted at times.

There are a lot of details and twists but the characters are very well developed and intriguing. The story is very deep with enough action to keep you turning the pages and enough questions to make you think twice about what's actually going on.

I sincerely hope that there are more books with many of these characters since I want to learn more about each and every one of them!
