Posting this review because I don’t see many others. I currently use this book to teach my Human Development class. Overall, it does the job and I haven’t had any complaints. I think concepts are explained clearly and I like how the author discusses how different developmental phenomena are affected by gender, culture, ethnicity, sexual orientation, etc. I also like the boxes embedded within each chapter that talk about new advances in research or current topics in human development. I read the French edition of this book...couldn't find it on the site...but I think this book should be a MUST for all people who work with children, in education, teachers or other social studies.
