Basically a rip-off of the classic Glenn Rounds book, Stolen Pony. This is the same story with some minor changes. Although more colorful than the Glenn Rounds book, this one is not as memorable.

A pony and dog are inseparable friends. When they are taken to the vet, they break out of the vet's field and try to go home. They are picked up by a man and have to fight to find their way back home to their owner.

My favorite book from childhood! I love the story, where they get lost, but the ending is one of the best! I am so glad there is a series on these 2 animals. Well written, beautiful artwork. Awesome!!!

A childhood favorite. Sometimes I revisit, for nostalgia's sake. It's a great book.

Not exactly "heartwarming," but that's the word that comes the closest. It's like, "Homeward Bound Lite", if that makes any sense. good book, if not particularly long.
