The finale of Lore Olympus has arrived! Witness Hades and Persephone’s modern, romantic reimagining in this gorgeously illustrated, Eisner Award–winning comic—now including a never-before-seen bonus short story!

“It’s time to set things right.”

The race is on to save the Mortal Realm, but tragedy strikes when Kronos hijacks Morpheus’s body and kidnaps Hades. Now alone and unsure of the right way forward, Persephone is called to a leadership meeting of the gods, only to find that Apollo can manipulate her powers. He claims the spectacle proves that in order to save humanity she must marry him.

Before Persephone can even consider this cursed deal, Hera steps forward with a different solution: She will offer herself to Kronos in order to gain access to old Tartarus, wherein they’ll be able to destroy the titan, save their captured friends, and restore Persephone’s control over spring. Though the plan is risky, the gods agree it is the only path, and watch as the two goddesses descend into the depths to confront Kronos.

Meanwhile, Hades awakens in his worst nightmare, transported back in time—and right into his father’s clutches. Tortured and made to feel small, Hades thinks there is no way to escape until he meets the prisoner Kronos has been using to control the other gods. With the young goddess’s help, Hades finally finds the strength to face the titan. Combined with Persephone and Hera’s efforts, they are able to end Kronos’s influence over Olympus once and for all.

But Kronos is not the only danger the gods face. Apollo is revealed to be receiving aid from Olympus’s original tyrant, Ouranos, and the Primordial God has come to collect on the debt that arrogant Apollo owes him. And if Ouranos is unleashed once more, it will be the end of everything . . .

Can Hades and Persephone find their way back to each other and stop Apollo before he destroys the realms in his dangerous quest for power?

What I thought would be volume 11: 254-280

I wonder if this volume specifically is supposed to show the corruption of hades and persephone. Hades continues to look half like kronos. And persephone has red eyes to show the rage constantly in her

With so many plotlines throughout the series, i feel like the end was slightly rushed but it is so satisfying! What a whirlwind!

- persephone can only make things die instead of grow
- Hades is calling persephone so she can listen in to a meeting she cannot be part of
- Mortal world is dying, which explains the increase in souls too
- Apollo continues to push hebe and Persephone under the bus
- Hera stands up to kronos!
- Hecate locates erebos
- Persephone offers to give her powers to hades as a fertility goddess
- DEMETER HAS ANOTHER CHILD!?!?!?
- Hera touches demeter’s bracelet from metis and gets a vision
- Confirms there was a fertility goddess between metis and persephone!
- Hades disappeared in sleep dive so persephone is acting as queen
- apollo tries to convince the general public that persephone must marry him to he can help control her powers
- Hera is willing to sacrifice herself (as her vision showed) so persephone can enter tartaurus. Gets her affairs in order
- Everyone shows up to support Persephone
- dionyus has some kind of plan
- Dionyus helps persephone figure out her powers
- Hades created a daughter out of fire and persephone carried it
- And she’s deaf! And from the future??!!!?
- Hera comes back to life because she was created with the purpose of destroying kronos
- Hades got to talk to his mom
- Kronos is talking to hera and hades? Is he split so he can be everywhere all at once?
- Turned kronos into a diamond
- Apollo kidnaps Persephone as she is trying to fix the mortal realm. She turns the tides on him with the weapon he was going to use
- Persephone makes Apollo feel the hurt he caused her and makes him confess to the public
- Ouranos has been waiting for apollo because he needs a vessel
- Helios is ouranos’s brother?
- All fertility goddesses come together to help heal all of the mortal realm (gaia, the first fertility goddess). So cool to see each generation bigger than the one after
- Persephone is go be in the mortal realm for 3 months and the underworld for the rest
- We get an update on everyone that never got their story finished! Artemis is with the goddess of the moon!!
- Hades and persephone have another daughter the same night that melinoe had her “dream”

4.5✨

I read this for free on webtoons but ended up buying a physical copy because the art is gorgeous. 😍

Honestly these ratings are purely based on vibes. I'm writing these reviews after finishing the entire webtoon so it's hard to pinpoint specific plots and I noted the ratings whilst reading. The story is so good I love the modern spins and twists on greek mythology and their story.

Healing from abuse storylines can be really difficult, but the way Rachel wrote/illustrated this was absolutely fantastic. She did such a good job and her afterword 🥲🥲🥲 I absolutely loved this series, 5 stars, so incredible!

Also lil bubbies r so CUTE and I really appreciate her trigger warnings for this one, helped me skip the things I definitely did not want to read.

Seriously the muffled speech bubbles are so smart to show overwhelm.

The ending was amazing, I really enjoyed this.

Overall great end to the volumes and series. A lot of the language was a little too much therapy-esque for me throughout the series but the story telling was really good and I loved reading about all the characters and the way they were re imagined. If you like Greek mythology you’ll appreciate this.

I love this series. The artwork is fantastic and I love the story. Sad that it’s the end but it was so well done. I read the whole series through webtoons. I can’t wait to see the physical copy though with the bonuses in it.

What am I going to do now this is over ?! 🫠😫

I LOVED every bit of it! 🌸✨💝

It tackles real life issues and morals.

This is yet, in my humble opinion, the best Greek mythology re-imagining fiction EVER.

Please Amazon, donc ever DARE to mess it up! 🫣
