When pranking my neighbor backfires and he lets the Matchmaking Mamas set him up, it's my duty to keep an eye on his dates.
If I sabtoage them in the process, that's just coincidence, right?
But when I call Maverick's bluff that I could be a better date, I find myself in the matchmaking hot seat.

The prank war between Maverick and Damon has been going on for a while now. When these two neighbors get off on the wrong foot, it escalates more and more each day as they drive one another crazy. But could be there be a little spark between them underneath it all? Though they may both deny it at first, it isn’t until Damon’s prank on Maverick to deal with the matchmaking Mamas backfires on him. And suddenly watching his neighbor go out on dates… well, that hits a very strong jealous chord in him. Especially when he knows none of those guys are good enough for Maverick. These two were so much fun! I loved their enemies to lovers vibe. Their prank wars were really funny but when it came down to realizing that their feelings for one another was the opposite of hate, it just made it so much sweeter to see come to the realization and finally act on it. And of course, you gotta love the matchmaking Mamas. Interfering and taking all the credit! A really fun story and I can’t wait for the next one!

Cute romance between Maverick the florist and Damon the construction worker. They share a duplex, but got off to a bad start when Damon first moved in. They've been pranking each other for a long time, but eventually realize that what they both thought was annoyance is actually attraction.
When Maverick decides to let the matchmaking women in town set him up, Damon realizes that he's jealous of the guys Mav is going on dates with, and that HE wants to be the one Mav is set up with. He comes to terms, pretty quickly, with being bi, not straight, and gets around to romancing Mav.
This book is cute, fun, and light. Lots of spice, lots of fun side characters (lots of old Granville residents we've met in other books). Looking forward to the next one.

A quirky florist, and a surprisingly sweet construction worker get their HEA … after they spend two years tormenting each other with escalating pranks. Damon and Maverick are neighbors, and because of a misunderstanding on day one; they’ve been one-upping their prank-game ever since … until Damon’s prank goes too far. Leaving him wanting to be more than just the winner of their pranking game.

New series from this author that involves characters from previous books. Can easily be read as a standalone. A bad start leads these two to believe they are enemies. Maverick has been hurt before and doesn’t trust easily. Damon is oblivious to the fact that he is actually attracted to Maverick and very protective of him. A slow burn that leads to being perfect for each other.

Delightful return to Granville with a lovely low angst story. D.J. gives us another fun ride with Damon and Maverick with their friends and so many of our old friends. In fact there’s secret wedding planning for one couple! Really just a wonderful return to this great world. Looking forward to the next book!
