10 bugs that aren't featured in all the other gross bug books. Nice to have some new info for kids to read.

Interest Level: 3-6​

This nonfiction books is such a great way for kids to learn. The illustrations are fantastic and hilarious and the way that Heather Montgomery relays information is so funny. Kids won't even know they are learning. This book talks about 10 of the grossest bugs, why they are so disgusting, and even some misconceptions of these bugs. Another cool factor about this book is that each bug has a Gross-O-Meter and Manners Meter. The Gross-O-Meter is either nasty, nauseating, or repulsive and the Manners Meter is either rude, shocking, or atrocious. How great would this book be to use in the classroom and let the kids choose their own Gross-O-Meter, Manners Meter, and the overall winner. This book is so gross and that's what makes it fantastic!
