I’ve said it many times, but let it be said once more! Jill Shalvis is my happy place!
She’s one of the very few authors who can give me happy feels from page one to the end of the book.

Her Animal Magnetism series is in my opinion the next best thing next to her Lucky Harbor series. An imaginary world that I only wish was true, and knowing that if it was I would move there in a minute.

Love can turn want into need.

I started All I Want at 5:30 this morning, with hubby sleeping peacefully beside me. It's my quiet reading time before I start the day...well it's normally quiet. The beginning was funny and I was struggling to keep my giggles quiet, which then turned into snorts, which then turned into hiccups. So my quiet reading time didn't end up so quiet after all. At least I started my day with a big smile on my face.

Zoe meets Parker when she practically throws herself at him. Love can turn want into need.

The beginning was funny and I was struggling to keep my giggles quiet, which then turned into snorts, which then turned into hiccups. So my quiet reading time didn't end up so quiet after all. At least I started my day with a big smile on my face.

Zoe meets Parker when she practically throws herself at him. Zoe is a pilot struggling to refurb the old family home, pay off her study debts and give herself a life. Up till now her brother and sister were her main focus, but with them moving out and finding their own HEA's, Zoe realises she needs to make some changes. First change, she wants to go on dates.

Timing is everything and Parker realises it when a beautiful woman throws herself at him. Wyatt, Zoe's brother and Parker's mate has organised for him to stay with her while he's on a break from work. Parker has been forced to take time off work when one of his cases goes bad and a fellow officer is killed. His work involves chasing down poachers and traffickers of wild and nearly extinct animals. He finds it too hard to completely shut off from work.

These two have great chemistry that they try to deny. Parker doesn't want to hurt Zoe, but knows a relationship won't work because of his job. Zoe is hesitant, because she's had bad relationships that ended because of lies and she knows Parker has secrets. Eventually they succumb...and they are HOT together. It was obvious to me from the time Oreo and Bonnie and Clyde accepted Parker, they were meant to be together.

Both Zoe and Parker have some family issues. I do not like Zoe's parents at all. Parker's family issues show us a side to Parker that was very sweet. It made me like him even more.

This was another great Jill Shalvis story with lovable characters and a sweet storyline. These are not hard books to read. They flow so smoothly, with no angst filled plots to make you pull your hair out. A comfort read, a sweet read and a returning home type of read that left me smiling.

Love Jill Shalvis and her feel good reads. While part of a series, I read this as a standalone and had no problem following along.

Zoe is a strong, independent woman and I just loved that she was a pilot. What I found hilarious was her inability to fix anything in her house! She has an old fix-her-upper inherited from her grandparents and while she has the tenacity to want to do things on her own...she was a complete disaster. I couldn't help but laugh out loud!

She spent a lot of time letting people see only what she wanted them to—a hardworking professional woman on top of her game.

Her younger brother and sister have recently established permanent romantic relationships, and now it's Zoe's turn. She's told Darcy to pass along the word that she's amenable to blind dates with the local men. 3.5 ☆

All I Want wraps up the story of the last unattached Stone sibling, big sister Zoe, who had been acting in loco parentis for the past two decades.

She spent a lot of time letting people see only what she wanted them to—a hardworking professional woman on top of her game.

Her younger brother and sister have recently established permanent romantic relationships, and now it's Zoe's turn. She's told Darcy to pass along the word that she's amenable to blind dates with the local men.

She instead meets Parker James, Wyatt's college friend who needs temporary lodgings in the Stone family's rickety Victorian house. Parker is on medical leave from his enforcement position with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and recovering from an injury during a bust gone awry. But Parker has no intention of accepting inactivity when he has a hot tip that his major criminal target is in Idaho. And it's so helpful that Zoe is a pilot which provides him with a way to conduct surreptitious reconnaissance of a remote site, not that he's admitting any of this to his boss back in D.C. or to Zoe.

And Parker, for all his bad-boy, cowboy ‘tude and cocky swagger, wasn’t anything close to transparent. At all. And that made him downright dangerous to her.

All I Want falls under the contemporary romance category not romantic suspense, so Parker's illicit investigation does not overwhelm the storyline. And their burgeoning relationship is frequently punctuated by colorful animal vignettes, especially about Oreo, Zoe's tubby Bernese mountain dog.

How the hell was she supposed to keep her heart safe when he was nice to her silly dog and he saved kittens and he fixed the things in her house that were broken while pretending not to in order to save her own damn pride?

And never mind his eyes and how they seemed to heat when he looked at her. She'd never experienced anything like it, really.

All I Want is another entertaining installment by Shalvis and an improvement over its predecessor, Still the One. I really like the Stone siblings and their relationship dynamics. One small gripe is again the inaccurate book cover. They’re in landlocked Idaho, nowhere close to a big body of water as depicted, and Zoe's dog is a Bernese mountain dog, not a sleek Labrador retriever.

A Jill Shalvis book is like a warm hug that turns into a hot guy squeezing your butt. A little sweet and a little naughty.

If it wasn’t for having to work a 12 hour shift this past Saturday I would have read All I Want in one sitting. Both Zoe and Parker are likable characters. They are the oldest siblings in their family and they are use to taking care of everyone around them.

Sweet read - I really enjoyed Zoe. She's a bit of a walking disaster, especially when it comes to fixing her home, or trying to fix things. She puts herself in funny situations that had me smiling through the whole book.

Parker is yummy. He's good friends with Zoe's brother and is renting a room in Zoe's home while he's officially/unofficially on leave from work. He's really still working a case but never thought he'd fall for Zoe, her adorable dog Oreo and two trouble-making kittens.

I’m always very excited about a new Jill Shalvis book so I had some high expectations for ALL I WANT, as is always the case when you fall in love with an author’s writing. This is Zoe and Parker’s book and it definitely has all the trademarks that make Jill Shalvis’s books so fun. There’s humor – quite a lot of it actually – and also a lot of heart as well.

not quite sure why I didn't care that much for All I Want. It might be that I o.d. on the series by reading the last three practically back to back. OR it could be have something to do with the narration. I listen to the audiobook of All I Want. And somehow I found the narration a tad to melodramatic for my taste.
While I kinda get the appeal of Parker, I didn't really feel that way. I mean I like him well enough, but lust for him? nope.

As soon as I get a Jill Shalvis book it's a must I read it right away. I am absolutely love the characters that she creates. Shalvis did not disappoint with this read.

I really enjoyed reading about Zoe and Parker. Shalvis started this story off with a bang. Zoe is waiting on a blind date and when she opens the door she kisses her "date" but soon finds out its not her date and her brothers friend Parker, who will be staying with her. Then she slams the door in his face. One thing I love about Jill's books is the humor she brings to each story.

These two have funny banter and sarcasm that made them not only entertaining but helped make this book amazing. I really liked Jill used a agent as the hero and not just a typical agent but a unique one. I have to say that captured my interest. Also Zoe being a pilot was unique as well.

One of my favorite parts in the book was when the guys were playing football and the ladies were watching and holding up signs. It was great to see previous characters and watch them all interact.

I also really enjoyed Zoe's animals. They had some funny and cute parts that helped make this story sweet.

This book also includes more then one sex scene and surprisingly most of the action happens in the kitchen.

The ending was super cute and when Parker does his speech I have to say I teared up a little. It was one of the best speeches I have read in a long time. I also liked that Zoe didn't make it so easy on him. Good job Zoe!

Hopefully this series will continue because we have some weddings that should be coming up and honestly I really want the hot sheriff to get his own love story!

I recommend this book to everyone who loves animals, a hero who is sexy and has a gun, a heroine who has a smart mouth and ends with a happily ever after.

Love love love Zoe and Parker. Their banter was fun and I really enjoyed the push and pull these two had. And their chemistry was amazing.

As always, it was fun seeing the other siblings from previous books. I could read this series forever.

I always come back to Jill Shalvis whenever I need a cozy, comfortable, funny read with wonderful heroes and adorable animals. I don't do it often, but when I do, she never lets me down.
I absolutely adpored Parker! He was honest to a fault and just a Good Guy. Who adopts kittens to stop a little girl from crying, for heaven's sake, and lets them crawl all over him and sleep on his pillow. So precious!

I love falling into a Jill Shalvis book – it’s immediate gratification and I know I’m in for a good time. I laughed out-loud four times by the fifth chapter of ALL I WANT. If you thought Darcy was amusing in STILL THE ONE, then Zoe will entertain you with her own brand of being a challenge in ALL I WANT.

Zoe Stone decides it’s time to start dating, so she puts out the call for blind dates and then panics when she gets one. She enlists her sister Darcy’s help with what to wear, even though she doesn’t listen to what Darcy says. These two sisters are hilarious together in this scene. Of course, Darcy suggests something outrageous to relax Zoe and when Zoe finally listens to her, she creates an embarrassing moment that will instigate a relationship Zoe didn’t see coming.

Zoe’s brother Wyatt asks her to rent his friend Parker James a room during his vacation because she has plenty of space in her family’s old Victorian. A special agent with U.S. Fish and Wildlife, Parker can’t seem to take a break from work. This forced rest demanded by his superior isn’t something he can follow, even if it will cost him his job. Parker has an ulterior motive for staying in this area for this unwanted vacation. Will Zoe convince Parker that there’s more fun to life than work?

Zoe and Parker are very entertaining as a couple, or when they’re trying to not be a couple. This is such an easy book to read because these two characters are magic together.

Zoe is a professional pilot which is unusual and intriguing for a romance book heroine. Her ability to fly is key to the plot in this book so it’s something the reader gets to experience. I loved the interactions at the hanger and the details on how Zoe prepared for a flight. It made her career easily believable. Zoe isn’t as quirky as her sister Darcy, but she has her own brand of unusual that’s endearing.

Parker is a good listener and doesn’t really tell Zoe too much about himself at first. This adds a bit of mystery to his character and it’s fun following along as he slowly reveals his true self to Zoe. Parker and Zoe heat up the pages with their sizzle. Parker pushes Zoe way outside her comfort zone and their journey is very sexy. There’s some intense page time spent on their sexual escapades so be forewarned that this book is explicit.

Even though this is the seventh book in the ANIMAL MAGNETISM series, it’s not necessary to read the previous six books to understand ALL I WANT. Sure, the ANIMAL MAGNETISM series is addictive once you get started, but don’t let six novels keep you from being entertained by this one today.

I think Jill Shalvis could make reading the phone book funny. Her brand of wacky that she brings to commonplace, day-to-day activity is so outrageous and fun that I literally laugh-out-loud. There are very few authors who can make me laugh in a raucous way that startles anyone near me. I adore Jill Shalvis for her trademark humor. But there is so much more to her talent. She really nails it when it comes to characterization of not just people and children, but animals as well. The dog and kittens in this book add to the fun, especially in revealing Parker’s true nature with some aww-worthy moments. I also love Ms. Shalvis’ plots which are always different enough to hold my attention, but never so overwhelming that they overshadow the romance. It’s that unique balance of humor, loveable characters, refined plotting and gratifying emotion that keeps me coming back for more.

I highly recommend ALL I WANT to anyone who loves a laugh-out-loud contemporary romance that’s just as sexy as it is heartwarming. You can’t go wrong with a book by Jill Shalvis unless you never pick one up.

And this wouldn’t be an Animal Magnetism novel without animals, so of course a lot of the humor comes from Oreo the Bernese mountain dog and two crazy kittens. Ms. Shalvis knows how to make readers smile one moment and melt the next, and this is definitely the case in All I Want . Add some scenes involving the James and Stone families and a dash of suspense in the form of an illegal antiquities dealer Parker is determined to catch and you have a truly well-rounded book, one that’s pretty much impossible to put down.

All I Want is the seventh book in the Animal Magnetism series, but you don’t have to have read the previous six books in order to enjoy Zoe and Parker’s story (though the series is fantastic). So whether you’re a longtime fan of Sunshine, Idaho or are visiting for the first time, prepare to sit back and enjoy a wonderfully entertaining romance.

All I Want is Jill Shalvis at her best: Irresistible humor, snappy dialogue, and a couple I was completely rooting for. I loved the little twist that Shalvis put on the brother's best friend trope. It was cute and different. I also adored how crazy Zoe was, and how Parker just fit perfectly with her. These two were the very definition of opposites attract, and it was such a wonderful story. <3

Love learning about his sister and other minor characters stories. I love the romance and the drama of course. Also I love the story of the minor characters and how it affects the main characters in some way (: this is my last book in this series. I will definitely read more of her other series in the future.

Our heroine is settled in to a job she loves and has the apartment. Now the next step in her plan is to find a boyfriend. Her friends try to help by setting her up on blind dates. One piece of advice she is given is to kiss the guy as soon as he arrives so that is out of the way. But the guy who shows up is not her blind date, he is her brother's friend who plans to stay with him for a forced vacation. Instead of his friend he is met with a beautiful woman and a kiss.

All I Want has all the trademark humor we've come to expect from Jill Shalvis, especially in the Animal Magnetism series, but there is a little romantic suspense element in this one I really liked.

Zoe, has convinced herself she is good and fine since her brother Wyatt and her sister Darcy found true love and have moved out of the house and All I Want by Jill Shalvis is a 2015 Berkley Publication. All I Want has all the trademark humor we've come to expect from Jill Shalvis, especially in the Animal Magnetism series, but there is a little romantic suspense element in this one I really liked.

Zoe, has convinced herself she is good and fine since her brother Wyatt and her sister Darcy found true love and have moved out of the house and on with their lives. But, deep down, she longs for the same happiness her siblings have found.

As fate would have it, Wyatt's good friend, Parker, is on a vacation and Zoe has agreed to let him stay at the house with her to help finance home repairs. When the two meet each other sparks fly right away but in a hilarious way, which had me laughing out loud.

Naturally, the couple tries to deny they are feeling a connection and work hard to douse the flames because they are not really suited for each other. Parker is on a vendetta mission, which is very dangerous, but once he's done what he needs to, he will disappear back into the dark and murky world from which he came.

Zoe needs total honesty, commitment, loyalty and honor, NOT dark, dangerous, and mysterious. It seems as though a hot fling is all she can hope for… unless a litter of adorable kittens and a delightful rescue dog named Oreo can help pave the way for Zoe's own Happily Ever After.

I have been catching up with the Animal Magnetism series little by little recently, and was very curious about how Zoe's story was going to play out. I love her cutting edge occupation, her loyalty to family, and felt her insecurities were valid. Same with Parker, who, had some family matters to cope with as well.

As I said before, Parker has a dangerous job, and is going rogue a little bit here, looking for justice in the death of his partner. This story line added a little bit of danger and suspense to the story, and of course I loved that element, which really made this installment stand out a little more than some of the other chapters I have read so far.

One thing Jill Shalvis is very good at is creating heroes that will melt your panties off, but will melt your heart in the process. I thought Wyatt was nearly perfect , but now here comes Parker. Geez! But, of course her stories are usually always very well balanced, laced with emotional dramas, and offset with humor, and excellent banter and dialogue that never fails to leave me with a smile on my face.

Is All I Want really the last book in Jill Shalvis’s Animal Magnetism series? It wasn’t too long ago that I binge-read the first six books in the series back-to-back so to say I’m not ready for the series to end is a massive understatement. The small-town charm of Sunshine, Idaho and the quirky characters (animals included) that inhabit it are what make this series so engaging. While I’d love to continue the journey with these characters in this setting for another dozen or so books, I was thril Is All I Want really the last book in Jill Shalvis’s Animal Magnetism series? It wasn’t too long ago that I binge-read the first six books in the series back-to-back so to say I’m not ready for the series to end is a massive understatement. The small-town charm of Sunshine, Idaho and the quirky characters (animals included) that inhabit it are what make this series so engaging. While I’d love to continue the journey with these characters in this setting for another dozen or so books, I was thrilled to see the series end on a high note with Zoe and Parker’s story in All I Want. Watching the stubbornly independent Zoe go toe to toe with the irresistibly charismatic Parker is so entertaining, it’s impossible not to fall in love with these characters.

As a fan of the series, I’ve been waiting for Zoe’s story, eager to see who could be a perfect match for the tough-as-nails pilot. Zoe is a heroine that I immediately liked, yet the more I got to know her, exploring her guardedness and unveiling her vulnerabilities, the more I connected with her character. She is a fascinating mix of strong and vulnerable, self-assured and awkward, and I loved the fact that Parker challenges her with every word exchanged and every interaction. Parker is the kind of confident that makes you want to roll your eyes after every outrageous remark, even while his unerring charm has you fighting back a smile. They have this Katherine Hepburn-Carey Grant type of banter, each with the distinct ability to exasperate the other with a few choice words, yet at the same time, it's evident that they're wildly attracted to each other. Their dynamic brought a fast-paced energy to the story that captivated me from start to finish.

With action, adventure, an unforgettable romance, and two characters with emotionally compelling backstories, All I Want is the perfect conclusion to the Animal Magnestism series. I laughed, I cried, I swooned (because: hot), and mostly, I wished it wouldn't end. No matter how many books I read by Jill Shalvis, I can't seem to get enough and All I Want is no exception. There's a feeling her books evoke – a feeling of lightheartedness and contentment so magical that you can’t help but want to recapture it again and again. I love knowing that when I pick up a new book by this author, it's going to become an instant favorite and there aren't many authors I can't say that about.

Shalvis repeatedly had me laughing out loud with this intricately written and endlessly entertaining novel. She brings her setting forward through constant yet subtle descriptions that work their way into your subconscious, creating a picture for the characters to walk through. This small town really comes to life in a big way. The smooth & inviting narrative really takes the story to the next level, highlighting aspects of the plot and characters in minute ways that you can’t miss. I like how S Shalvis repeatedly had me laughing out loud with this intricately written and endlessly entertaining novel. She brings her setting forward through constant yet subtle descriptions that work their way into your subconscious, creating a picture for the characters to walk through. This small town really comes to life in a big way. The smooth & inviting narrative really takes the story to the next level, highlighting aspects of the plot and characters in minute ways that you can’t miss. I like how Shalvis tackled many difficult subjects while writing a fun, upbeat novel that I wanted to become part of. She also shows how romance in in the small things: a look, a touch, a whisper.

There was a contradiction within Zoe – to follow her dream yet to guard herself closely, shutting herself down from others. Conversely, Parker’s caring nature, yet not wanting to care too deeply put him in a similar, if also very different boat. Not only that, but these two were just plain fun individuals to get to know. Both had exciting jobs, yet at the same time they were both common enough. Their personalities drew me in as well. As individuals they were the type of people I could see myself being friends with, yet together, oh boy! I won’t do them justice to describe it.

The secondary characters were also a blast. You really get a sense of how much family matters throughout. Zoe’s sister, well, I don’t think she hit the page without making me giggle. I love how Shalvis brings people and their pets together in this novel. Oreo, for example, was priceless. He’s one of those rare pets who really comes to life in a story without becoming more than simply a loveable pet, making an unforgettable secondary character. And let’s not forget Parker’s sweet sister. I like how Shalvis developed her. I could empathise with and feel for her, without feeling pity for her.

This is one of those fantastic novels that builds on the series that came before it while also giving readers a great standalone romance in and of itself. I could barely put it down and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others.
