Pretty thorough discussion of plant craft is given with instructions for growing 100 popular indoor plants, each illustrated with quaint watercolour drawings. Soil mixtures, humidity, temperature, light, water, fertilizer, pruning potting, and problem locations. Includes bottle gardens, terrariums, topiaries, standards, herb gardens and propagation. Miss Faust includes a supply list which would be out of date nowdays, a bibliography which is still good and a month by month growing calendar. Could have been enhanced with colour instead of B/W photos.
I found out that I'm not very good at keep plants alive indoors, seems every house I live in is too dark. On the other hand if you do have lots of light this book is extremely useful.

I bought this book years ago when I was working in a florist shop. I have referred to it often. If has excellent illustrations and clear directions for caring for a wide variety of plants. Highly recommended.
