“The Modern Herbal Spellbook: The Magical Uses of Herbs”by Anna Riva provides information on a select number of herbs, some of which won’t be found elsewhere. However, the author only provided common names for plants but not scientific names. At times, the herbs are listed twice rather than combining the information into a single entry—sometimes below its previous entry.

The Riva books, at least back in the early 90s, were pretty much offered at “herb shops” everywhere. While today there are much more informative books on the subject of herbs, this is still a resource for those interested in magical uses of herbs.
