No Cookies?
Cookie Monster is befuddled when his nephew, Little Max, doesn’t want any cookies. No cookies? How can this be? Maybe he’s not feeling well, or maybe he’s not hungry. But he is hungry for a healthy lunch of a sandwich and fruit. Cookie Monster is baffled–where did he go wrong?

Cookie Monster's nephew, Max, doesn't want to eat cookies. The refrain throughout the book is "No cookies?!" Cookie Monster sees various Sesame Street characters (Elmo, Bert & Ernie, Big Bird, etc) and everyone is surprised that Max says "no cookies". In the end, everyone discovers that Max likes cookies...after he eats a dull healthy meal.
The message is a big heavy handed, but M is too young for it at this point anyway. Her favorite thing about this book (aside from the Sesame Street characters) is that Max rides in a stroller. She loves pointing out the stroller.
Read at Age 2.
