For authentic Christians, the bad news of Satan and the kingdom of darkness, while serious, is overshadowed by the good news of Jesus and the Kingdom of God.

Yes, there is a cosmic clash. Yes, we are in the middle of it. Yes, we need to become equipped to recognize and resist the enemy.

But those who are united to Christ by genuine faith need not fear Satan. Not now. Not

I thought this book by Bevington was an exceptional and informative read. I struggled for some time, coming out of Charismatic/Pentecostal expression of my Christianity; where I had issues with beliefs that were espoused or taught that were extra-biblical or built on one verse. I saw the reality of demonization, but wasn't sure I agreed with the methods used to address the issue. When I saw this book and the reason the author decided to write, with the approach of sticking to the Bible to ...more

Good News About Satan:

This author has given a refined, Biblical exposition on the subject matter of satan, demons, spiritual warfare and Christs victory. The author avoids reaching beyond scripture and does an excellent job of presenting the biblical information. The information is meant to be acted upon, thus the author gives several lists of practical application in each chapter. I highly recommend it to any follower of Jesus.

Life is a battlefield. It seems if it is not one thing it is another in our daily lives from dealing with issues at work, home, mounting bills, problems around the world, a screaming kid, or you name it. Also amongst the battles we face are those of fighting the urge to sin and break Gods commands. No matter what battle we seem to be engaged it, one important truth to remember is they are rooted in the spiritual warfare that rages each and every single day. Bob Bevington, in his excellent book ...more

Good News About Satan is an excellent, biblical solid, easy to read, explanation of what the Bible actually says & doesnt say about Satan, his power, & the way he operates. There is a shortage of credible & understandable books on spiritual warfare so this author (Bob Bevington) set out to write such a book that relied only on the Bible & nothing else. He never says more or less that what the Bible states. This book will be very profitable to all who read it & it is also ...more

Much needed

This is the Biblical type book that I can hang on to. The author did a great job of explaining the scripture of spiritual warfare much better than other types of books along the same lines.
