I found this book to be ok as a learning/review guide for the math involved in business and personal finance. It includes the basics of fractions, decimals, etc. and then progress into simple and compound interest and how it applies to banking. There are word problems and exercises to work out.
Along the way, the topics of discounts, markups, inventory, calculating depreciation, promissory notes, etc. are covered.
I found a lot of the business related topics of interest to read, but the personal finance sections were more practical for me. I would like to have seen more word problems included but I guess there are other books out there for that like the Schaum Outline series.
