Have been putting together a Vampire: The Dark Ages and Call Of Cthulhu Dark Ages crossover campaign, so this was actually quite helpful with information about the locations, politics, and warfare going on in the time period. Not everyone is going to need the stats for Tremere gargoyles or mythic creatures at the end though, especially if you want to keep your game more grounded and less on the fantasy side.
