I stopped reading YA dystopian trilogies for a while because I had read so many they all started to seem the same and I lost interest. So it's been a while since I read something of this genre and this did not disappoint. I couldn't put this down. It had everything I love about YA dystopian novels all with its own unique twist. I can't wait to read the next in the series.

I loved this book. There was a ton going on and always kept my attention. A YA dystopian read that twists and turns throughout. I liked knowing some of the backstory so we are not kept in the dark as well. I can’t wait to read the next in the series and see what happens to Lucy and what she learns.

Lucy was born the day the lights went out. A virus swept the world and very few are left in an unbreathable environment. She lives in a compound with her parents and a few others for the past 16 years

"Lucy finds her way"
Would you consider the audio edition of Flicker to be better than the print version?
Yes, I really enjoyed Maren McGuire voice it brought the main Character Lucy to life.

What did you like best about this story?
Everything about Lucy. She is the only baby born in her group after a bio-apocalypse spread in the world. Her family and their friends live for 16 years in a fall out shelter. So we start in Lucy's life when she is 16 years old and they are just now running out of food.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book.. loads of action, keep me interested though out! Definitely going to read the next one! I liked that it was a different take on other dystopian type books. Lucy was born the day the lights go out! Now 16 yrs later the are forced to leave their bunker, they have run out of food. They head to the only place that seems safe for women and children ..OK...but Lucy has a secret! Shall we call it a "Flicker" , I guess Anya Monroe did! Try this one..

Good book

Loved the story and the characters were really interesting. It was a story of a disease that decimated the world and a boy and a girl who were born just as the lights went out. Looking forward to reading the next one

Clever. It never ceases to amaze me how imaginative some people are. The story draws you in immediately and soon you find that you've neglected your life as you just keep turning the pages.

Fun post-apocalyptic novel. I really enjoyed the part about the cult - can't wait to read more about Lucy!
