This is a brilliant book, to take you from liking dinosaurs in a general way, to really beginning to know and understanding the fossilised finds in the UK. The book takes you through every aspect of understanding prehistoric topics and the history of dinosaurs, in a clear and concise way. Excellent close up pictures of relevant fossils, as well as illustrations and life reconstructions, help to guide the reader. Excellent book! The author's research into the collections of local museums led him to discover a new species of ichthyosaur, which has added to the excitement of reading the book.
