Disclaimer!!! You know that when you pick up a book that involves a Billionaire meeting a hot young thing, that it’s totally Fiction and should be read as such, right? Good...let’s begin.

Holy Wow!!! Hot hot hot and super yummy. Asher is the epitome of hottest eligible bachelor. Filthy rich, hot as sin and can totally back it up in the sack. Yep, I said it. Why must all of these men live only in books? Lol

And then there’s CJ…Complete damsel in distress here. A photographer who suffered a tragic

I enjoyed this story, but it wasn't a favorite.
The characters and story were good.
The reason that I only gave this book a 3 star rating is because of the dialogue between the main characters Asher and CJ. At times I rolling my eyes the way they spoke together (particularly when they were having sex).

The cliffhanger at the end of the book did however, leave me eagerly anticipating the next book.

I always enjoy reading romance books that feature a billionaire businessman and a heroine struggling to make ends meet, when there is a secret or some kind of tragedy involved so much the better, and we get all of that here in Exposure.

I was drawn to this book because of it's premise, C.J is agoraphobic after a tragedy that has left her housebound for the last six months, quickly running out of money she knows she needs to get back to work, she decides to venture outside but doesn't make it far

Exposure was not the book for me. Usually I love reading sexy books about mysterious billionaires but this one didn't do it for me, unfortunately. I've seen quite a few good ratings and reviews so maybe this is just a personal thing.

I'm not sure what is was that put me off the most about this book. I think most of it was the writing. I couldn't really get into it and it felt pretty wooden, as well as the conversations happening in the book between CJ and Asher. Another thing that I didn't like w

Oh my, oh my! I love it when books this awesome fall in my lap! Ms. Jacoby brings us a wonderful story about CJ Parker, she was a photographer, but a tragedy involving her little brother, has caused her to become agoraphobic. (I'm not going to tell because it is a major part of the story.) She forces herself to leave her apartment and passes out. She wakes up, and has no idea where she is and is far to panicked to leave. Enter Asher, a mysterious millionaire. He in turn understands what she is g ...more

Oh NOOOSSS I finished this book wayyy to fast. Why you asked. Because I can’t get the next book yet. I read through this book twice and while I may have had a few issues with it, I still loved it. You see, I do believe in that automatic attraction with someone. That is why I have been with my other half since the day we met 19 years ago. It happens. I do not know too much about the condition this character suffers from, so I have no basis on which to critique on that aspect. Some of it feels far ...more

I had quite high hopes for this book as I hadn't read a sexy billionaire erotic romance in a while and was looking forward to it. However, this fell short of my expectations unfortunately.

We follow this story mostly through the eyes of CJ who has suffered a devastating tragedy that has caused her to be agoraphobic and therefore can't leave her house without it causing a panic attack. She's trying to beat this phobia and is doing all she can with limited funds to get better. CJ meets Asher Sloane

#1 in the Exposure romance series

Thanks to NetGalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Cliffhangers drive me crazy, and this one has a doozy, so beware. Until that point, however, I was intrigued with this story. CJ is not your typical main character in that she suffers from agoraphobia after a traumatic event in her life. She's got some flaws, which makes her more believable and more human, although not necessarily more likable. Asher is the mysterious billionaire who, fo

I received this book from author for an honest review.

The book starts a bit unrealistic and it continues to be so. CJ had a traumatic event and suffers from agoraphobia. She doesn't go out for 6 months and when she decides to do so, she falls in the hand of rich handsome guy Asher. They click together but it doesn't seem believable. They jump to sex pretty much right away, with which I don't have problem at all. It was the language and »clichés« like from a bad porn movie that bothered me (Do y

I really don't even know what I just read. The blurb for this one sounded good, but the book was just...not.

I'm glad CJ finally got the help she needed, and that she was able to share her story about her little brother...but the book seemed to turn into a self-help book at that point.

Learning about Asher's past just had me shaking my head. I mean REALLY?! Did we need to take it that far?

"You won't be saying that after you have it with me."

I received my copy from the author for an honest review.

So the gist of the story is CJ suffers from agoraphobia for the past 6 months from a incident that gets slowly revealed trough the story. Asher the gorgeous billionaire comes to her rescue but soon reveals he wants to propose a 'business deal' where frequent hot sex is okay but don't expect love.

Right off the bat let me say that this book has one heck of a cliff hanger that will completely take you by surprise. It is the first in a three part series, which you'll find yourself completely committed to continuing with the remaining books once you're done reading this story.

The characters are well defined, the premise of the story is not a new one, damsel in distress, hot rich guy to her rescue...where it differs are the characters themselves. The dialog is a bit stiff at times, the bedro

This is the first book in the Exposure trilogy by Annie Jocoby and what a way to start!

C.J. Parker is a photographer with a NYU degree that used to spend her time with other “paparazzi” chasing down celebrities and making a lot of money. That is before a tragic event in her life 6 months ago, which now keeps her locked inside her home and her own private hell. CJ has almost gone through her savings, hasn’t worked, has no contact with her mother or sister and only has her friend Scarlett to coun

One homebound paparazzi photographer + an altruistic billionaire … truly scorching

I find myself wanting to slap my own hands as I type this review. Can you say a touch of writer’s block mixed with the temptation to blurt out spoilers? Guess that is why Annie is the author and I’m the reviewer. She did an excellent job at teasing out the reasons for CJ’s bout of agoraphobia. While at times I wanted to say “come on tell me what's’ going on already,” the reality is that CJ couldn’t emotionally and

I won this book in a GR giveaway drawing.

I actually enjoyed the story in this one. I confess I have been known to skim through my romance novels to get to the "good parts" ---- ahem, the love scenes, that is. While reading Exposure I ended up flipping that scenario backwards. I skimmed through the sex to get back to the story.

CJ Parker is suffering a mental breakdown after a terrible tragedy that she feels responsible for. Her condition is called agoraphobia, an extreme fear of leaving the house

I had very low expectations of this book when I started it because my good friend gave it a whopping DNF after getting really aggravated with it about 10% in. Fortunately, for me, I found that what aggravated her, only amused me and the book was not dreadful.

That said, when I read Annie Jocoby's writing, I feel like someone is speaking really slowly to me in short, simple sentences because they fear I am slow and unable to comprehend big words and complex sentences. When significant events unfol

The author Annie Jocoby really does a fine job with the first in the series of three. Exposure leaves the reader hanging on the edge of the seat and wondering just exactly will happen next. This book totally swept me off my old, tired feet and gave me something juicy to look forward to reading! I truly mean that too. Honestly, I feel like I have been kept alive by super, hot, and lovey dovey steamy sex! All jokes aside I truly loved this book. Jocoby starts this novel off very well and you w

Firstly, the blurb sounds wonderful; alpha dominant guy, a steamy romance, and CJ Parker a delicate female lured out by the racy billionaire. After a couple of weeks reading fantasy books almost exclusively, this really appealed but it doesn’t deliver; firstly the writing style is a little off kilter. It doesn’t flow and instead is quite stiff and robotic. This meant that it didn’t quite sit with me as a reader throughout. It’s technically correct in terms of grammar and spelling but the convers ...more

Attraction and magnetic lust pulled two people from two completely different pasts together when one powerful, sexy and very wealthy man rescued a damsel in distress in the middle of Soho. CJ has suffered from agraphobia since a traumatic event in her past. Asher began a quest to pull her from her self-imposed prison while keeping his own past deeply hidden from this fragile woman. Of course, we all know that one’s past will eventually catch up with them and Asher’s does, leaving CJ reeling with ...more

CJ Parker has agoraphobia following a traumatic event. Asher is gorgeous and wealthy, and rescues her when she loses consciousness while attempting to venture outside of her home. He keeps coming around, they start spending time together, and eventually a romance blossoms. As with any romance there are complications—obstacles of sorts—that threaten to put a permanent wedge between them.

Let me start with what I liked abou

Characters: The main characters in this novel were CJ (yes this is a girl’s name!) and Asher. CJ is a shut in. She has agoraphobia, which is the fear of places, that stems from a tragedy that she went through six months before. Asher is a billionaire. And wants nothing more than to possess CJ and use her to help his own personal situation. But can they overcome tragedie

I really enjoyed this book, there are so many layers to it. It is so emotional and had me in tears on several occasions. Tragedy, mystery, dark secrets, mental illness, love and lust combine to create an exciting read. Received a copy from NetGalley for an honest review.

I do not really know how I feel about this book. I thought the plot was interesting and pulled you in, but then it got unrealistic and the characters fell flat. The tragedy she experienced that forced her to break down is realistic, but the then the plot just goes haywire. This concept that he needs someone to get his "stalker" off his back is so far fetched. All of a sudden she has to move in with him? Why would he offer such a fragile person

CJ suffers from agoraphobia stemming from a very traumatic event that happened just six months ago. Every day she has to live with what happened and her survivors guilt. Because of her condition and not being able to venture outside, she hasn't been able to work at her career as a papparazzi photographer so is quite literally running out of money when she decides that she needs to face her fear head on instead of seeking the right help for it.
