Whoah. Let me get my thoughts together.

This was a fantastic story. D.B. Nielsen's language is beautifully descriptive, with movie-like elements to highlight the duality themes running through the book. The history run-downs can get a bit heavy at times, but they are so fascinating and so well tied into the story that it is a mere niggle.

Saffron is an altogether different character than her twin, Sage, from the first book. While I couldn't identify with her reckless nature as easily as I could wi

I was absolutely blown away by this author's debut, SEED, which is the first book in this series. So I picked this up with trepidation, although I desperately wanted to read it, as I had been absorbed by the world the author has created with her first book. I was nervous because this book might fall short of the first. But I worried needlessly. This book is even better than the first! There are all the elements I fell in love with when I read SEED: adventure, humour, romance, intrigue. The writi ...more

Scroll:keepers of genesis II

The second is even better then the first. Sage finds out her twin is also the wise one! Her twin has all the qualities she does not so the compliment one another. There is m o re adventure and Fi is very spirited, could she be in love with the wrong one? Danger, battles, love and adventure what more can one ask for. I totally enjoyed this story the sense of humor, heart ache it has it all. I am so excited to read the next book! I rate this book a 5 stars!

Love this series! Great stories and characters. I can totally imagine this happening. In every detail. I was so disappointed when I saw I was 95% done. I just didn't want it to end. Looking forward to the next book!

Must read series for me; if this is a genre you enjoy, you're going to love it too!

This second instalment of the Keepers of Genesis series is an absolute thrill from start to finish with insane action and witty characters throughout.

In my personal opinion this book surpasses the first in several ways, (and I thought the first book was brilliant!), what really stands out to me in this story is Saffron, reading with her as protagonist is such a refreshing experience, Saffron is an extremely funny character who had me laughing from the very beginning, D.B. Nielsen expertly artic

Light. Dark.

Sage Woods. Saffron Woods. Seventeen year old twin girls, two sides of a coin. In SEED, we learn about Sage being a "Wise One", but twists and turns within SCROLL reveal that not is all as it seems.

Book two is written in Saffron's POV, and the tone of the novel is far more dark than the first. But that is precisely why I love it. While Sage is the bookworm, Saffron is the common teen with the need to prove herself while enjoying the wild bits of life. Minus the often placed modern l

Scroll picked up where Seed left of but now the focus is on the other twin, Saffron. Saffron is the opposite pole of her sister Sage which I loved because she is a little more like myself than Sage. I like strong female characters that are not afraid to express their mind and I felt that Saffron did just that as well as question why instead of following the providence believe.
Another thing that I really enjoy was the romantic tension between Gabriel and Saffron but I am totally shiping Finn and

I really prefer Sage's point of view but I loved reading the book.

Sometimes Saffron was a bit annoying though. I think the problem is that I don't like some of her phrases and I can't get used to them. Am I too old? O.O

Now I wanna read the next part.
