The last book of short stories, had a few humorous ones. I did enjoy this one, but a lot of the stories made me feel sad, even if there was a point to the story.

Short stories set in Michigan with (mostly) women conservation officers as protagonist. Enjoyed most of them. Usually ended the story wanting to know more about the character.
