Start your review of Harder Ground: More Woods Cop Stories

Not Heywood's best Woods Cops stories. This is short stories so the narrative arcs are often too brief to develop reader interest. There are laugh out loud moments typical of Heywood fiction, but several of the stories read more like experiments in fiction and disbelief rather than as fully developed narrative moments.
